My minister said in church this morning the proud/self righteous will be in Hell, maybe they are the ones Jesus is speaking of.
Do we want to do works for God out of love and gratitude for a free salvation, or because we believe they will better enable us to attain Heaven?

Well, you certainly deserve it. Sadly, it is a rare thing to find people bringing the Bible together as a contiguous teaching, rather than just following the religious herd, and rallying behind a dogmatic banner with one singular verse or thought carved on it.

Many years ago I had temporarily attended a church of Christ so I understand how they indoctrinate their members, twist the scriptures and try to "shoe horn" works "into" salvation through faith. Thank you for the reps! :)
