So you have accused me. How many times are you going to make the same accusation to me? I read it the first time you posted it to me.
Suddenly I should accept what you say? You have pretended multiple times to give Scripture that supports your desire for multiple wives when none of the verses you cut and pasted endorsed polygamy at all. So yes, when you lie, I shall tell the truth to you about what you are doing. Much to your chagrin, you are a liar :) I am sorry you find the truth so disagreeable on so many fronts.

You should obey this written commandment
that God gave to you to obey.
1 Timothy 2:12
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

Is that your fallback, again? How many times will you offer that as a pathetic attempt to ignore the Scriptures against polygamy? How many times will you pretend you have Scripturally supported your position when the verses you give say nothing at all about polygamy? There is no endorsement for your position. You pretend there is, and you pretend to speak the truth, and you pretend to be guided by the Spirit of Truth, when you ignore what is plainly written. Paul does not suffer a woman to teach in church. You are not my husband that I should submit to you. LOLOLOL. You want to follow sinful men, that is not Christianity. That is a religion of your own making, built on your delusions, and supported by those with similar sinful desires. You are certainly free to do that. You are so set in your ways that Scripture will not set you straight.

A woman of God will obey this commandment.

A woman who rejects God will not obey this commandment.

How do you like that truth?

I guess that is why they say you should mind your own business and not worry about how others walk in their own shoes..
I learned that from Jesus.
Yea but Jesus never advocated polygamy.....also he said if you see a person in Christ who is sinning to take him aside and reprimand him in love.....polygamy is an excuse for man to fulfill his unsatiable desire for sex/dominating women....plain and simple....yes OT scripture can be thrown around about David, Abraham, Solomon etc...but they all were in a culture that dominated women like cattle..... if polygamy was sanctioned by God he would have made Adam and Eve, Bertha, Mary to make Adam happy, but he didn't he only made 1 for adam which was Eve....

Polygamy is man made to excuse lack of control for lust/power.....

I think you have only learned what you wanted from Jesus. Which is not learning Him just to be clear.

Then you better not marry more than 1 wife. Leave all that sin to others.

At least that is more than I knew to begin with, so I am still doing far better than I were.

My plan would be just to be joined to a woman by God with the blessing of God.
The rest would take care of itself as Jesus said...

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

And I certainly would give no thought to as how many wives another man has or had.
I have better things to do with my time and thoughts.

Besides Jesus said...

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

What in the afterlife? there is no marriage/divorce in heaven Jesus said so himself in the NT.....

On the other hand so if you are married and some random christian woman says hi i want to marry you....you would be okay with it as being "sanctioned/blessed by God"?

Oh you think you have put me on the spot with this question.
When you cross that bridge then you will know the answer.

Many answers to your questions can only be obtained by your own experiences.

Why? does the transparency unnerve you? I was forthright in my opinion....your lack of willingness to post about your convictions makes me wonder if you are a troll who frequents CC just to stir the pot?

How do you know that by reading and comparing/measuring the two
you will not make an error in your comprehension of the text?
Where have we heard this type of language before? Doesn't it sound very familiar, folks?

How about this?

Genesis 3:1-6
Now the serpent was craftier than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden
but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'"
"You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman.
"For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

So here we have the devil getting Eve to question God's Word, then we have him sprinkling his lies in with God's Word, and then we have Even falling for the devil's tricks because mixed in with God's Word, the devil's lies sounded like truth.

Here we have FStell spouting scriptures out of context, posting his opinions using no spiritual wisdom at all, without any shame relentlessly antagonizes a mature Christian sister (as well as other senior CC members thru out the BDF), and proclaims, "I am a Christian. I just did not put it on the profile." Why would you put on your profile that you're not a Christian if you in fact are one? It's a deception.

Check out "Find latest posts" in his profile and you will see for yourself that within the last 16 hours FStell has been persistently pursuing threads in the BDF discussions posting irrelevant dogma and conjectures such as, "So say you. I say otherwise." and "Why does it need to be clarified to you?" and "How do you know when you are in error?" and "Everyone has their take on what this scripture means..." and "How did you all become experts on what is written in the bible?" and “
Many answers to your questions can only be obtained by your own experiences.” (Again, compare to Genesis 3)

Since he began his hostile shenanigans, he has not stopped criticizing, questioning and opposing several Christians' position in the Lord Jesus, although he immediately resents anyone asking about his own personal agenda.

Nothing is gained by defending yourself against a troll. And if he's not a troll, I don't know who is.

Stop feeding him
.

I disagree with all this you have said to me. If you do not like it then you can blame me for making you read and reply to what I post. I will carry your burden for you.

Your welcome devil.

Only a devil would call a child of God a troll.

I am a child of God and I would not even call a child of the devil a troll.

In fact I would do like Jesus commanded me to do.

Love others as He loved me.

Jesus never called me anything evil.
