And what about the plagues of God's wrath? I want to know how that could have possibly happened, and what each one was.

And yet all of a sudden, the Real ID act says that we need to adhere to those human stalking requirements pushed by the UN just to be allowed to drive a car. Back in the 80s, people said that a national ID would be the mark of the beast. Now it is here as Real ID, complete with a star on it if it is "real", and no one cares, even though now they are wanting retina scans and all sorts of stuff.

The UN was put in place by the US - it is run from here and lives here. It would be nice if it could go away...but I'm afraid it will not, unless it be replaced by another world government run by the same sorts.

The United States can force the UN to leave the premises and pull out of that worthless organization.

But they will want things to run smoother than credit cards only,which I believe will be the microchip linked to satellite to track everybody's location on earth,and they might go to a smart card that holds all information about them,for all people,and cashless,as a stepping stone to the chip,which then all information about them will be on the chip,which they believe will be a smoother operation,and less problems,for they cannot lose the chip in their right hand,or forehead.

That is clearly where it is heading. Will people say that it is still fine then? Though the stuff is basically in effect if google, amazon, and other cloud peep agencies are download grocery store customer card purchase records and compiling it with credit card records, etc in data centers, with each human being looked up via their SSN. And you generally need SSN to have a smart phone, and the smart phone is nothing but a tracking device..

So with access to the big database, you type in a person's number and you can pull up their GPS location, see what they bought at the grocery store, see their obamacare records, everything. Then that data can be mined such that you can find out which types of humans are most unacceptable in the new world order, and come up with custom methods (genetically engineered medicine? alter their medical records?) to deal with problem sorts.

The letter was written in Symbolism. And in order to understand the Bible's own Symbolism (which he used), you pretty much have to know the Old Testament, inside and out. Because the people he wrote that letter to certainly did.

I was just thinking...as it is clear that a "beast" is a kingdom or government, that makes the mark of the beast the Mark of a Government. And so a government will put its mark on you... Unless you don't think that a beast symbolizes a government, of course...

If you are understanding the Symbolism in the word "beast", how is it that you want to insist the word "mark" has to be an outwardly visible or "electronically detected" indicator that says you can transact business? You can't see it as simply a desire to follow the ways of the world?

Many were maimed and tortured in the Jewish wars.... and left to suffer, rather than being directly killed. "Not being able to die" as you might beg for in that condition, does not mean that you will never die. The Bible says ALL men will eventually die physically, so it would be contradicting itself to mean they became immortal.

Unless you're willing to consider transhumanism in the sense that "eternal" life as some see it is attainable with the merging of iron (technology) and clay (flesh). Then, that passage pretty much fits strikingly.

I just can't see how the general following of the ways of the world would need to be rehashed in this special language, when that seems kinda like a moot point when reading the rest of the Bible. This language is special, and the best translations say that it requires computation and intelligence. What would be the point of all that talk if it was just saying not to follow the ways of the world? Who needs "intelligence" to figure that one out after reading the rest of the Bible? Also, computing the number of the beast yields 600 and 60 and 6. If you look on the back of the great seal of the US, which is on the back of the dollar, you see the roman numerals. There are 9 of them, just like in your SSN. Break it up into three sets of 3 and what do you get? And when you see that this country came up with the SSN business, and came up with the UN, and is using the UN to force every other country to number their people...it's just too much. There's just way too many coincidences.

Again, you have to understand that I am not reading the year 2017 into John's 65AD letter to the seven very real churches that all existed along the same circular trade route (a real road) that ran through Asia.

It makes no sense to me that the Bible, covering many many years, would just end with a long and convoluted letter that only applied to 7 relatively small churches around the year 65AD. I am fairly certain that no one held this view prior to the age of enlightenment, and I am curious for proof that anyone held this view prior to that age.
