MEN OUGHT ALWAYS TO PRAY Pt. 1

'And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint ...' - Luke 18 vs 1

Beloved, I want us to read the full story of what Jesus actually said in this Chapter. Sit tight and read this awesome parable;

Luke 18:2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 18:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came
unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 18:4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor
regard man; 18:5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 18:6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? {KJV}

Now, let me unfold to you the treasure in this scripture. There is a point I want to draft out to you, and this is it; the unrighteous judge was not willing to attend to that woman, but because of her continous coming to him, he became weary and had to look into her case so he could have rest. Waow! Now, Jesus is telling us that if an unrighteous judge could do that, how much more our Heavenly Father, that's exactly what the Righteous Father will do to His children who cry out to Him day and night even though He delays for a long time. You see that? So we have to keep pressing on God in prayers until our expectations and desired needs are granted us by the Father.

From this parable, we can understand that sometimes, God bears long with us on our requests, but it's our responsibility to press on in prayers day and night, at every moment at every interval, at every count withoit ceasing, till our requests are met. I am so inspired even as I write this unto you. Men ought to pray and not to faint!

Do you desire something from the Lord? Then you ought to be praying about it tirelessly, and not been lazy! You ought to be crying out to God in
prayers about it, and not relaxed!

I prophesy on you, the Grace to pray tirelessly at every every second rest upon you! It's yours...

God Bless You.

Take the book of psalm and look for prayers

highlight them
and then pray them on your knees when you find them
and do them and expect to grow and be sanctified each day.

then always thank God for his grace to enable you to do them.

ASV: " I desire therefore that the men [andras] pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and disputing"

The word for men (andras, singular anēr = male men, not women). Of course women should also pray, & in the body of Christ they are equal with men by nature. Yet they do have different life & church roles. Could it be that when a church is having a prayer meeting, the women should keep silence, unless they are off in a women's meeting?

Will this post lead to wrath & disputing?

Jenning ought to start a blog and post there. CC is a discussion forum. I might have to highlight the term 'discussion for you. It's not a platform for you to preach, you also have to be willing to listen and to learn from others and become part of the community.

I prophesy on you,
You have to predict the future to prove you are a prophet (on pain of death in the Law). So predicts some things so we can check you out. Tell us the temperature at 7 PM in New York City on July 12, something like that.

I don't believe you are a prophet. Prophecy was predicted to cease in 1 Cor 13 -- but I am willing to consider you if you can make some perfect predictions.

The only prayer that I believe was answered was for God to let my wife die after I got out of work instead of while I was working. I am through with prayer for awhile. I will let the Holy Spirit do my praying for me as I obviously do not know what I am doing when I pray. What does all of that stuff mean anyway that you listed and how is it possibly relevant to my situation?

It is painful, but don't surrender to the devil. Move on with God. You could start by giving Him thanks everyday for the things He has done. Don't forget He is God!
