Even as God has allowed the idolatry of football to be exposed----not that I don't like football or think it has its place---it has in many ways become an idol----I think God will allow many more idols to be brought down----*Hollywood ---which is spewing out so much demonic and new age garbage----idols---------**Homosexuality-----men worship the creature more than the Creator---idols (Romans 1)****I'm sure their are others, but I think we may see some shakings in these areas in the upcoming days...***if we have any "idols" in our lives, now is the time to deal with them and get set free----sometimes our doctrines can be idols, for we hold on to them more than God...

***The Shaking/Finances----this is not a post to berate people over tithing, but rather to encourage people to be faithful in giving in these times----if great shaking comes into the financial realm I would want to be tithing and obeying God in my giving----I could share many testimonies of those who were spared financial disaster because they put God first while others around them went down...
Most of us have read this and heard it, and we should all bear it in mind always.

that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot

That Hebrews 12 Scripture is declaring that God once more will shake
not the earth only, but also heaven. That description comes from Scripture
like Isaiah 2, Isaiah 13, and Haggai 2 about the future when God will cause
this earth to tremble in removing the 'elements' of man's works off it (2 Pet.3:10).
Why the phrase "once more" though, which points to at least one previous time
that He shook the earth to that level?

Yes, a lot more shaking I think. We had a very curious shaking in which He blew on our Baal and toppled it. But we hammered our Baal back up so we could again feel safe in it. We "bailed out" our Baal.
The story comes to mind (think I'm getting it right) where a baal toppled and its arms broke off and they hammered it back into place and fixed it. But when they came back, it was toppled again and this time its head had come off...
