It takes God giving a person a new heart to become a Christian. God only hardened Pharaoh's heart to inflict more evil upon him. Jesus knew those who believed based on miracles didn't have a change of heart in most cases and did not commit himself to them.

“Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.” John 2:23–25 (KJV 1900)

There were no "Christians" before Jesus called His first disciples, some 1400 years after Moses. The faithful were followers of God though.

Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he turned against God's people. No, he did not become a follower of God.
