Oh, then I can see you are not basically not much of a dispensationalist then. But that's alright, we will still see each other in Heaven :)
I never even knew dispensationalism had any offical stance on the rapture... Two different topics for me..

Hmm, isn't Les Feldick most well known for his sermons on the Rapture for the Gentile Church? :)

Dispensationalism and the Pre-Trib Rapture for the Gentile Church are almost synonyms to me

I don't think there is a single originator, but Les Feldick and Cornelius R. Stam are the well known names, from what I am aware of.

....."should have been put to death"...says who?

I would never try second guessing G-d.
If you really do not know you have a lot to learn........THE LAW PAL.......when I actually read the things you write....it becomes all too obvious as to why I rarely respond to you.........

goes to show you kings have different laws lolz. but atleast it provided us some typology

most likely israel was very sloppy in keeping all the laws. i can imagine day to day living that people got off or just didnt want to put it into practice. just like it is today in countries with severe penalties like saudis etc.

I stand amazed at the ignorance of some for sure..........David crapped bricks when Nathan said you are that MAN after DAVID said whoever has done this shall surely die.....under the LAW both MURDER and ADULTERY had the death penalty.....but hey.....a religionist must make some flippant statement trying to look GOOD and or appear to know something..........I rarely engage him....his posts constantly reek of a lack of knowledge.....

If you really want to help and know the scriptures you would not have said what you said.......anyone worth their salt would KNOW the LAW condemned David to death for Murder and Adultery..........

I have no patience for such statements made by someone that should know better

From MY swaying? What I said was correct......

We're all double minded, having faith in God and Mammon, and thus no miracles.

Many of Jesus's miracles were attributed to the faith of the one receiving it.
On this forum,if that fact is invoked,a nuclear explosion of the offended follows.
"How dare you suggest their faith/lack of it plays any role in healing."

Ok,stay sick.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

I don't know of too many people here with faith as a grain of mustard seed.

....and because of that we must review this as symbolic...symbolic of the need for concentration in our Christian life ...on our faith.

Not unike scripture why says...pray without ceasing. We know that is also symbolic because we must sleep and rest. It means to pray a lot.

Christ also said that they who believe on Him will do the works and miracles He did, and even greater ones (John 14:12).
Is that symbolic?

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

I view Christ's Word as truth. This means we are all lacking in faith today. We are all double minded due to our carnal desires.
This is truth, I do not make up excuses to nullify the Lords Word.

Pray without ceasing to me means to pray every day or at least regularly.

Who is the specific audience in John 14? The disciples? These promises were made to His disciples and not to be applied to everyone.

You are nullifying Gods Word by claiming it was only directed to the disciples present with Jesus.
There will be miracles again in the future when total faith comes back into the picture.
This will result from the Great tribulation.

Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

I'm not nullifying the miracles in the great tribulation for I believe this will occur, but what I'm saying is specifically, the Lord is speaking to His disciples in that passage telling of things that would happen shortly. The signs would cease with the Apostles and Israel's rejection of their Messiah. Once they are cut off, the Gentiles require no signs, but live by faith.
