the first resurrection is only mentioned once.
in all of scripture.
guess where?
in all of scripture.
guess where?
what does it mean by first?
that means there is a second.
what you call a "literal" one.
millennialism has two also (at least).
what if the first resurrection is that spiritual resurrection you just said you knew you had taken part in?
that means there is a second.
what you call a "literal" one.
millennialism has two also (at least).
what if the first resurrection is that spiritual resurrection you just said you knew you had taken part in?
What if. . . .the first resurrection is that spiritual resurrection? . . .we would be reigning with Christ for a thousand years and in that thousand years Satan would be locked in the bottomless pit. . .
Are you saying that the "resurrection is past already"?
Does this mean anything? 2 Tim. 2:16-18 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker of whom is Hymenaetus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
I am honestly trying to understand what is being said. . . .
