Ok... so I'm stuck a bit. I know that one needs to be Baptised with water, Spirit and should have given your heart to the Lord to qualify to enter or even perceive the Kingdom of God. I do realise that it is actually a secret, yet a very important commandment that we should first seek God's Kingdom.

I'm curious how many experienced entering or perceiving the Kingdom of God. I would like to know what I'm missing, cause I feel like I'm in a loop. I sin therefore I cannot enter. The only way I can enter is if I don't sin. I feel like the words of Paul that which I don't want to do I do, etc. Yet I still feel stuck. I've perceived so much of God working. But I constantly feel like I'm missing a crucial point of His Kingdom. Even if someone could just tell me that they have been there it would be nice, cause a lot of people don't even know what I'm talking about and it is extremely frustrating.

Hi brother,

Romans 8:2

The Law of the Spirit v.s The Law of Sin

See because we were once of the flesh, we were bonded by the law of God to be considered righteous, only if we perfectly obeyed its demands. But since mankind failed to reach the mark of perfection, we fell into the power of sin, being bonded to it as slaves. As slaves to sin, we die and face condemnation. The Law isn't sinful, but it reveals our sin which leads us to death.

But because the Son of God came down to be the official atonement for sin, by faith in Him and what He did, we became free from the law of sin that led to death. His perfection was laid on us, and our sin was laid on Him, making us righteous by faith. By faith, we became justified. His Spirit came upon us, His grace giving us life. That we are now under the Law of the Spirit which brings life and obedience.

Once you believe, you are made righteous with God by His blood, giving you His grace, which is your ticket to heaven. We can never stop sinning for good while we are still in this old flesh, but we will stop practicing sin by trying to obey the best we can through the Spirit. So in terms, it's no longer you trying to go to heaven by your works, but what Jesus did and your faith in it, let's you enter heaven's gates.

Saving Faith is when you rely your complete trust in Jesus for your salvation.
Justifying faith is when you believe He has forgiven you for your sins, justifying you as righteous by His atonement.

Thank you. I seek the Kingdom of God.(John 3) To enter and perceive it. Understanding forgiveness and salvation is part of it, true. But I'm still searching for what I'm looking for.

Brother, I do apologize, and it must be frustrating, but what exactly is it that you seek within the kingdom?

Hello,
The verse that comes to my mind is "the Kingdom of God isn't food or drink, it's righteousness, peace and joy, in the Holy Spirit."
The Kingdom starts within us. We are indeed made righteous when we receive Jesus. HÉ is our righteousness and He alone. We can not change ourselves. The Lord transforms us through His Spirit. Through repentance and surrender to Him, we allow His Life to flow in and through us.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, ... (Galatians 5). This is to be an experiencial reality for every believer. This is part of the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of light, of holiness, of purity, of truth, of love, of joy ... As we focus on our Lord, day in day out, seek Him, worship Him and put to death whatever needs to be put to death, we will experience the supernatural Life the Lord has died to give us.
Know who you are in Christ. In Christ you are a new creation! In Christ, Almighty God is your papa!! You are so valuable. You're priceless actually. See yourself in a different light, in the light of the gospel of Christ.

I could write much more off course, but I'm gonna leave it right here.
What Jesus told us to sum up the whole law and the prophets is this: Love God with all you heart, mind, soul and strength, and your neighbour as yourself. You know, that's the Kingdom. It's not at all that complicated. Just burn all the bridges with stuff that would lead you to sin and seek the Lord (worship is a very powerful way for me to focus my mind on things above).
In His love,
Marc

Hey fellow SA... SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD!!!!

Where would you seek that? In HIS WORD.... God describes in detail how the KINGDOM IS AVAILABLE FOR US...

It was FOR MANY years HID or only known by a very few select... But when Jesus died, what happened? The place where only a very few could enter, in the HOLIEST OF HOLY, the "DOOR: that was the cloth tore from the TOP to the BOTTOM... Why?

God has a NEW DOOR NOW... And ANY person can enter, IF THE PORTER LETS HIM IN.... Jesus is that DOOR, bit only the ones that KNOWS Him will be able to ENTER... And the ONES that KNOWS HIM, HE ALSO KNOW... WOW!!!!

Who is the ONES he knows? The ones that KNOWS THE TRUTH!... And the ones that knows the TRUTH IS MADE FREE... Free from false doctrine, free from old self, free from sin, free from evil, and free from this world... they are LET IN TO THE KINGDOM... RIGHT HERE ON EARTH...

How do the yget to know Jesus? ,,, HE WILL SHOW THEM IN THE BIBLE!!!

A ONE ON ONE RELATIONSHIP IN HIS TRUTH.... ONLY He can reveal the Truth to you.. ONLY HE CAN! And if you know the TRUTH you shall ENTER... The Truth is.... Matthew 5:48... Then you ARE IN THE KINGDOM... And all other things shall be added, no matter what!

Wordgaurdian... even your name says something about God, God is the sole wordgaurdian... He gaurded that Word from the beginning and he will guard it FOREVER... God says.... In the begiining was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.... WOW! I think I am a vessel that the WORD guards... The Word guards ME! Just a thought...

What do you reckon is meant by the words:
God seeks those who shall worship Him in Spirit and in Truth...
In the Lord's Prayer ... why does Jesus Pray Let thou Kingdom Come! And at the End of the prayer He says again... for Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory
Paul saying that if you walk in the Spirit you shall no longer confide to the desires of the flesh.
What do you reckon is the Spirit?

And then read John 3 again. Understand that the Kingdom of Heaven is as real as you and me, vividly in the Spirit. However one that is flesh cannot enter it. Only one born from water and Spirit can enter. Hence the reason why we need to be baptised with the Spirit of God.

However even being baptised... how come no one talks anymore about the Kingdom itself. Or do you think it is in vain that Jesus said to Peter that He gives Him the keys to the Kingdom....

I seek to Enter and See the Kingdom of God.

I spend researching the Bible since ever I could remember. My parents told me that I was saved at the age of 5. Since then it has been a journey of discovery and I haven't stopped. Fought quite a lot of battles, but haven't reached certain things.

So one could say daily. Some days I don't. Most I do. So One could say round about 200x29 years... which is possibly 5800 hours of reading the Bible.... I guess. Not really sure, Never really considered it.

I know... I know. I'm being impatient. But it is more with myself than anything else. Yet it sometimes feels that I'm the only one that is searching for the Kingdom of God... while everybody else thinks salvation is the Kingdom of God.

And I certainly wouldn't mind someone from this day and age just tell me the glimpses they've seen. Or at least say that they are also searching.

That's good.

Yeah I know what it's like to feel stuck, as well as to experience some pretty powerful things.

I think what it has all taught me is that the inward work of subduing sin is the thing that GOD is most concerned with. It's not pleasant at all, but it is rewarding when the peaceable fruit of righteousness distills like the morning dew after some work has been completed. Just from my own personal experience, there doesn't seem to be much a crushed heart can do except love people. I think that's because it's learned that it can't take itself very seriously anymore.

WG, glimpses? Let me ask you this.... God recreates ALL He saves, Have you put some Scripture together what God says about hte ones He saves... You do not have to believe it, just put them together. It is really some HEAVENLY work...

The first one I will gladly put out there for you.... Jesus says .... Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Imagine this.... having everlasting life, and it starts right NOW! Do you know why they would not come into condemnation.... They have passed from sin to death unto righteousness unto life.... This everlasting LIFE is a life that is as HOLY as the one that GIVES the HOLY LIFE to the believers... WOWOWOWO! Now you put some more verses out htere that God says about HIS children and believers... It is so wonderful it has to be GOD WORKING IT... AND NO ONE ELSE....

Some people sin because they are weak and think that they doesn't have a choice. If God had told you not to eat a certain bread, and there wasn't any food around except for the forbidden bread, and if you were very hungry, you will eat the bread. God know that we are disciples of the flesh that listen to the commands of the body and ignore His commands over the flesh, and which that is why we need mercy. By fasting at times and focusing on His word, will help you to lose the desires what the body craves. I'm not saying that we should starve ourselves, but we should eat to live, but not live to eat. Our flesh has a hold of us and which satan uses as a tool to disobey God; and God is trying to separate us from these desires of the flesh into what He desires so that satan can't have that hold on us no more. Some might say that God has let us have feasts, but we still had sinned even though we have had plenty. We sin because we aren't satisfied, but God presence will satisfy our soul.

2 Samuel 12:7 Then Nathan said to David, “You are the man! This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. 8 I gave your master’s house to you, and your master’s wives into your arms. I gave you all Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more. 9 Why did you despise the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites. 10 Now, therefore, the sword will never depart from your house, because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own.’

2 Samuel 12:21 His attendants asked him, “Why are you acting this way? While the child was alive, you fasted and wept, but now that the child is dead, you get up and eat!”
22 He answered, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept. I thought, ‘Who knows? The Lord may be gracious to me and let the child live.’ 23 But now that he is dead, why should I go on fasting? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”

Matthew 9:15
Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.

John 13:1
[ Jesus Washes His Disciples’ Feet ] It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

Matthew 12:40
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

To whom did Jesus talk to here... the saved or unsaved?
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Again who was Jesus talking to here... the saved or unsaved? Take a look at this...

Mat 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Mat 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Mat 19:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Mat 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Mat 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Now again we see the rich man followed the commandments of God. He asked what he lacked for entering the Kingdom. Jesus did not say he will not be saved. In fact Jesus gave him the opportunity to be more than just to be saved. He gave him the opportunity to enter the Kingdom. But because he was to focused on the physical and not on the spiritual he struggled with the concept which is why Jesus said what He said.

Question is this... how many people do you think still understand the Kingdom?

You can not serve God AND money!!!!!!!! One or the other, the rich man chose money and went away in sorrow, because he couldn't give it up for God. God never planned for His believers to be poor and homeless but He does want us to be charitable because the more you give, the more the Lord gives to you to handle as His steward.

The man that walks in the Spirit already has the Kingdom of God. There are no words to explain how wonderful the Kingdom of God is. It sounds like you don't have this JOY in your heart. :(

Quoting Christ "I have foretold you all things" : calling him a liar on a worldwide forum; I have faith/belief/hope that this would cause an issue within an individual.

Of course this would not have been true in any other generation.

Was there for most of my flesh existence; until I heard what The Father has to say concerning Christ.

is the Object of your faith Jesus Christ?
do you need "see" something in the Kingdom?

the peace Jesus gives is knowing our sins are forgiven; God had reconciled us to Himself; and He will not leave us nor forsake us.

The Holy Spirit will deliver us home.

Romans 8:14
For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Who is doing the LEADING?
much like the Pedagogue (Law) who LED us to Christ, the Holy Spirit delivers us to God.
this is not Him leading through some "small still voice"; calling from whence we know not where; way on up ahead with the special Christians......this is an action and very forceful term...meaning something similar to being dragged; arrested; carried; delivered to. it might not always "feel" good (if we stray we get corrected. that hurts).

Hebrews 12:11
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

but He will NOT LEAVE us.

it's a great comfort...from the Comforter.

agó: to lead, bring, carry
Original Word: ἄγω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: agó
Phonetic Spelling: (ag'-o)
Short Definition: I lead
Definition: I lead, lead away, bring (a person, or animal), guide, spend a day, go.

Strong's Greek: 71. ἄγω (agó) -- to lead, bring, carry

a few examples: do these sound like the Holy Spirit doesn't know what He is doing?:)
surely not:)

you seek the narrow path. it starts with confession. write out a biography of your life. start as far back as you can remember and go year by year. include everything you can remember, the good things and the bad things. ask Jesus for help when you get to an emotional breaking point. be ready to actually feel emotions on a more intense level than you ever have before.

things at this point can become very intense and has a few different reactions in people. you may become aware of a larger presence in the world working though everything. it is the Holy Spirit, some might think of it as a collective consciousness. remember you asked Jesus for help and follow with faith what is revealed to you. you might feel paranoid and delusional, like the world is ending.
focus on remembering the you asked Jesus for help. remember what Jesus did and see if you can pick up your cross by denying yourself and being led by the Spirit to put to death the sins of the flesh. read romans 8 before and after your journey. it may take you far from home or it may take you across the street. it can require you to leave everyone and everything behind so you can focus on following the Spirit. trying to talk about it as it is going on will be nearly impossible as most do not understand the process. you body will feel like an overcharged battery. you will have a higher level of perception of the world around you and of the Spirit at work in all of creation. everything around you will lead you to a final question for you to answer. do you believe? how you answer it and what you do when you answer it are up to you. proclaim Jesus innocent and yourself guilty deserving of punishment. as the thief did.

i hope this helps you seek out the narrow path. it starts with confession. remember who Jesus is at all times. follow the commandments. follow with the faith of a child. complete belief and trust. your baptism will come after you have done these things.

Jesus is the Son of God. he was born, he lived, he was crucified, he was resurrected and ascended into heaven. would you be crucified with him? will you become and adopted child of God ? as a brother or sister to Jesus and all it entails?

it starts with confession.
