is that a bible quote.
your fruits are showing

You made this interesting statement:

i dont think its impossible to THINK youre saved
and not be saved

What would make a person THINK they are saved? (but not be).

Matthew 7:21-23

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

as well as

Revelation 3:16-17

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
i didnt even WANT to use my own words

i was ASKED TO

now i know you didnt read

you just proved my point...

OK.
I know all the above.

BUT

What do YOU think could make one THINK they are saved but are not really saved?

I find this very interesting.
Answers with ALL scripture tell me nothing...
Scripture SUPPORTS what you're saying.

who appointed, you judge to what fruit is. (mat 7)

opinion vary , and since you, have no bible quote, take it up with the difference meaning , to ranting and moaning, but that never stopped you posting, in the first place. with no proof.

Matthew 7: Judging Others
1 "Judge not, that you be not judged.2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?4 Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when there is the log in your own eye?5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.
6 "Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

Don't take it too seriously, his brains are fried. I remember at one point he was making incoherent threads regularly mumbling some mumbojumbo. This guy royalscot is done.
Go to his profile and look up "latest started threads". Complete mess.

I think I might disagree somewhat about storing up some things because of the way things are going...it is not what I store up that will provide for me and keep me safe and fed. We have an example that was given for us with Israel in the desert. The extra they collected for security because they wanted to feel secure turned to worms. And also God can sew up a hole in your pocket or put a hole in your pocket. What they did to feel secure turned to worms but yet their shoes lasted for 40 years.

He didn't demand that they only gather enough for the present day because He was stingy. He did it to test their trust (faith.)
Proverbs-->Wise men see evil coming and prepare for it....the bible is replete with preparation well ahead of schedule for a seen coming event....just saying it is not unbiblical to prepare.

Can you tell me how I can know I am not teaching false doctrine or believing in false doctrine? What can I do to not be one of the unlucky ones?
Believe Jesus and trust him at his word...He will...
a. Finish what he started
b. Never leave you or forsake you
c. Is the beginner and finisher of your faith
d. Your in The Father's hand, His Hand and sealed with the Spirit
e. And eternal/everlasting does not mean temporal

As always, it depends on what your heart is doing. :)

The evils to come include famine. No amount of money will entice a man to sell you a loaf of bread when no more bread can be found. I think its wise to stay in trust. He dropped food from the sky once. He can do it again.

That verse about a man seeing evil coming and preparing for it, I look at to try to find the spirit of the words. Its the only way that works for me, as I have a strong tendency to pull back to seeing the letter. It also says a godly man leaves an inheritance for his children's children. To see it by the letter would mean that no godly men die fairly poor as far as money goes. But I know that isn't true, so I struggle to search out the spirit of the word. The word is spirit because God is Spirit. Its the spirit of the word that helps me in my race.

But I don't scoff at a man who stores up food. I have noted a divide in this that runs according to when a man believes we will be gathered together. :)

Works are not required in salvation but rather a manifestation of salvation. Works by themselves do not save. Hopefully this passage will clarify this scriptural point.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
I agree, but unfruitfulness is disobedience & often leads to apostasy.

Here is why I believe it is possible to fall away from trust. It is mind numbingly amazing to me that Israel had the trust to walk out under a huge wall of water that would kill them if it came crushing down from its suspended state, but then they refused to trust He would feed them them every morning!
