I can't help it! I'm addicted to watching someone walk in the Spirit! We are not unaware of satans tactics and we don't fall for them forever. You picked up a love stick and beat him good! He gets real mad when we don't revile back but instead love. When we lay down our life of pride for our brother and love him, he comes right out of his skin, he hates it so much. :)

You have a seriously morbid, pathological attachment fetish going here ...I have placed you on ignore at your own request, twice now...why do feel the need to follow and reply to me , even though you know I have you on ignore...Do you have some twisted, dark fascination in me!?!?.....Why do you need to reply to me? I have you on ignore....
lol,, so that excuses your behavior? How did you know what I said if I was on ignore?

Its not not my fault you refuse to try to understand what I believe so we can have a meaningful conversation, so I ask you to ignore me, and I said never said I would ignore you,

Putting people on ignore for just dis-agreeing is not wise but for bad behavior that is consistently happening - it is a great idea. I believe God gave the mods wisdom in giving the option to put those on ignore that are consistently exhibiting bad behavior.

Dis-agreement is good for us and it is "healthy" but there is a way to do it with respect for each other in the body of Christ.

This is not a church setting where there is true spiritual leadership to stop this type of behavior so it's imperative to guard your own heart.

But even in this - people are free to dis-agree too and walk their own walk with the Lord.
When we begin to walk well, satan hates it and seeks to stir up the flesh of one of us and start fires with tongues. It's happened to all of us. But we're onto him now! If we put on ignore for a stumble, we'd have to be put on ignore too. But yes, I agree, if it is consistent and continual and causes us to be pulled into leaving off walking in the Spirit, ignore might be a good idea.

Amen. Guard our hearts. The Lord will let us know when it's time for interaction again with those that consistent exhibit bad behavior and dis-respect for others in the body of Christ.

Very petty at the least and very sarcastic.

Aspire to be what you tell everyone else to be.
That being the case then maybe an emoji could have clarified that.
Stephen63 is very good at adding emojies at the end of his posts to others but didn't on this occsssion.

I do agree that fun could be made of the light of spell check (and to be honest I would have jumped in that bandwagon) but there seems to be a few that are going at him today and not in a loving way.

Put aside whether he as fallen foul of that, we are responsible for our own reactions and actions.

You know me well enough to have a bit of fun.
So, everyone, what do you think of this? Was I being mean & sarcastic?

Ole Bill missed a couple of posters on the previous page that posted before I did. The issue of the wok had already started.

The next thing you know, I'm accused of going after EG & tryin to hurt his feelings.

Everybody knows you couldn't hurt EG if you tried.

So, what was this really about?

This is the cool part..... Bill picked me out of a crowd of pranksters playing with the wok. He initially did to me what he claimed I was doing to EG.....

That's called projection..... putting your character onto someone else to blame them for what you're doing, making them the bad guy & himself the good guy for calling it out.
;)

A slick one, that Bill is.

He did a psychological play on this thread to make yours truly look bad.....and some fell for it.

While he accuses me of trying to hurt EG's feelings, he's really trying to hurt mine by embarrassing me.

Why go to all this trouble? Why not just jump Bill's case for it?

That's not my style. It's much better to expose the truth than to get even.

Because I want you to see this guy's
true colors. Exposing him for what he is.

BillG's very popular, & he knows it. He knows how much influence he wields in the BDF.

I'll give him this..... he's smarter than the other easy believists he runs with. None of the rest could have pulled this off.

Ask yourself..... did you see this coming? Weren't some of you surprised?

Go back & reread the whole thing..... you'll see I was targeted.

You think he said that because I didn't put an emoji in the post? Everybody else knew I was funning with it.

I knew Bill was like this cause I saw how he treated PeterJen.;)

Yep, a slick one, that BillG is..... & I want everyone to know it. Definitely smarter than dcon & EG combined.:)

So, Bill, did you like all the emoji's I used this time?
;):p:cool:

Why do you assume things about me that you do not know?
But I do know. How? ...because of the way you are interpreting the verse. You are parroting what you were taught, not what the passage actually says.

It reflects poorly on you. Plus, you are WRONG.
They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. Three times what I said is affirmed right there. Open your eyes.
Help me out here. Where does it say they never believed to begin with?

"19 They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us." (1 John 2: NASB)

And if the reason they did not remain with John's ministry is because they never believed to begin with, why does he warn those who John himself says believed and are saved to continue to abide in what they heard in the beginning in order to continue in Christ (eternal life)?

"24 As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father." (1 John 2:24 NASB)

You have to explain why John must tell genuine believers who supposedly can never, ever fall away into unbelief (because you say only those who never truly believed unto salvation fall away) to continue to let that abide in them which they heard in the beginning so they will continue to abide in the Son (eternal life).

You assume to know what I have been taught by others. Stop pretending.

I have come to the conclusion all you do is troll looking for chances to make mouthy comments directed at all who you disagree with....I have yet to see you be honest when dealing aginst those you disagree with while defending those you agree with who have done something contrary and or when they have been caught in a misrepresentation of the facts.......so by all means.....continuing on your working for path.......
Now I'm a troll for calling Dcon out on treating Ugly bad.

I will continue to expose you, you can be sure of that..... we'll see who's honest.

BTW, you DO misrepresent the facts.

I used to sell Lipitor before I retired. Make sure you are taking coq10 or ubiquinol would be better if you are on Lipitor.

Our whole family has genetically high cholesterol.

I just had to go off of Lipitor. I was on the lowest dosage and continued on for a month and couldn't take the weakness and pain anymore.

The latest is that they don't think that CoQ10 is helpful. Not sure about ubiquinol. What's that?

If faith came from God, how could you lose it? Did God fail?

Only if faith comes from self can it fail and "fall away"

I do not have to do away with anything God says to believe my salvation is secure in Him, It is based on him

1. He died for me
2. He drew me after I started to seek him and helped me understand the true gospel
3. His work and his promise I deemed trustworthy, so I placed my trust in him
4. He adopted me
5. He gave me the right to be called his child
6. He washed me and made me white as snow
7. He justified me
8. He redeemed me
9. He atoned my sin
10, He took what was contrary to me and nailed it to the cross
11. He perfected me
12. He gave me his seal
13. He made me alive
14. He will grow me as I learn to trust him more
15. If i walk astray, He will come find me, I know his voice, because I am his sheep. and I will gladly follow
16. He will chasten me when I get out of line, Who can withstand the lords chastening
17. He will give me the desires of my heart if my heart is aligned with his
18. He will protect me if the desires of my heart are not aligned with his ( I know he knows what is sbest, I may not be happy about it at the time, but I trust him)
19. He will complete the work he started in me, and make sure it is finished.

No, to me, to say salvation can be forfiet is to you must do away with prety much ALL he said.. and make his promises depend on the power of self. not on the power of himself.

1. My God is omniscient, I can not fool him into thinking I have faith when I do not
2. My God knew me and all my sin (past present and future to me) were future when he died, He paid for them all not just some, When I came to him, I asked forgiveness for all. not just my past. Because I was not proud enough to think I would never think again, it would be worthless for me to just trust God to forgive me of my past sin, and not ask him to forgive my future also.

I can go on and on and on. But no, I can not agree with you on this subject, I am sorry.

Amen bro and seems obvious hey mate....
