I have him on ignore and do not feel the need to justify the deeps things of God to him....

Acts 13.2 is a prime example...

Worshiping God is not preaching the word in the NT or OT....if this were so, then Abraham would have been preaching on Mt. Moriah....It might have slipped his mind...but the first time the word worship is used in all the Bible is in Genesis 22....Abraham was not preaching he was sacrificing....and when God sees a sacrifice....it brings a breakthrough.....

There is more meat in the above paragraph than some can handle....milk....and even powdered milk and water is best for some...


David was also a worshiper and he had this to say about being still....

Psalm 46.10
“Cease striving and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

The Greek and Hebrew lexicons for worship means:

to bow down, prostrate oneself


I do not see preaching the word anywhere...eisegesis would support this conclusion based on the story of the woman at the well...but you have to tear up a lot of stuff to make that fit....

this is because people crave atmosphere, but will not pay the price for his presence...Moses, Joshua and Caleb all paid a price for the presence of God, the others took the easy road and got atmosphere...and they never entered into rest.....

I better stop...I might be preaching to hard for some folks...

Moses had the glory on him away from the temple, yes or no....

That is the glory we have now in this earthen vessel.....

Go deeper Cee...you are in waters to your ankle, but God wants you in waters you can swim in...

Moses was under the covenant that was passing away. We are under a covenant with a greater glory than Moses walked in.

Luke 10:24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it."

When it suits them they will say that Jesus cannot fail in saving them and that Jesus does it all and they don't even have to do anything.

Then, when it suits them Jesus becomes rather unable to even notice that Judas is not saved and sends him out with the other 11 to do God's work.

Incredible !

One should stick to scripture which is very plain and understandable in order to avoid these contradictions.

If you have read through the thread you will see that some believe that Jesus would not send an unsaved disciple to preach to the people?

I do not see that one negates the other, Jesus still allowed Judas a role even in the ministry even to teach and then Judas fulfilled his final role.

Your thoughts?

Jesus says none of them has perished.

Except Judas who was called THE son of destruction not A son of God.
