I had something I had to do. Sorry to leave you guys hanging.
And I apologize for not making this clear.
We are sheep when first born again. We are taken care of and love to be with the Shepherd. This doesn't change but what changes is as we mature in the faith. Lambs are new converts.
At a time in our walk and it varies with all, start to mature. We begin the overcoming life. This is babes, to young men according to 1John. And we begin to see Sonship. It's only this way though because of what we are hearing in fellowships and churches.
Jesus paid the price to bring many sons to glory.
~Heb 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are
all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Glory is the presence of Holy Spirit within us. Like the temple filling the Holy of Holies. The Holy Place has bread and the candlestick. I think...would have to go back to look.
We are compared to the temple of the nation of Israel. The courtyard before taken in. The outer court, the Holy place, and the Holy of Holies.
We begin to take on Sonship...leaving the sheepfold behind. And through our overcoming with the Lord at our side...Holy Spirit, the anointing, we walk in His Spirit.
Maturity or when the perfect comes is the fullness of glory in the house. The whole body of Christ.
We must go from being sheep minded to Sonship minded, which is the mind of Christ.
~
Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Lights in the World
Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Php 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
Php 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Php 2:16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
Php 2:17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.
Php 2:18 For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.
Sonship is to know we've died with Christ and have been raised with Him. The purpose of Sonship is to be make in His image...and do the works He did.
And to have His mind that we have the same power that Jesus had on earth. He being the Head, we the body, we move with Him on earth...living and moving and having our being in Him.
This is Sonship...no longer sheep minded but One with the Lord which is the true meaning of abiding.
Sheep are not one with God.
So stop thinking of yourselves as sheep and be the Sons that He bought and paid for.
Study for yourself and see if these things be so.
