Interesting observation.

But it is also missing the point.
If I say Christ I mean Jesus, if I say Messiah, I mean Jesus, if I say Saviour, I mean Jesus.
A lot of people of Jesus's day where also called Jesus so it became Jesus of Nazareth.

Now you could say, why do not people say Jesus of Nazareth.
The label is enough for the reader or listener to understand who is being referred to.

What is the fascination with creating meaningless questions?
It's the name above all names. That name will chase devils away. Call anointing? Nothing.

All men have been called to be "obedient to the faith".

Obedience in the New Covenant of the gospel of the grace of God is relying on Jesus for righteousness and goodness and life and blessing and salvation in all it's different aspects.

Disobedience to the faith in the New Covenant is relying on our own righteousness, our own doing of good.

Romans 10:2-3 (NASB)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.

[SUP]3 [/SUP] For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

Philippians 3:9 (NASB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP]and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,

The law is what people did or didn't do for their own righteousness.

All works-based righteousness is based on this truth and it is NOT the gospel of the grace of God in Christ. It is a religion.

Being "obedient to the faith" is believing in Christ and His work for us for life and living.

Notice here in Acts 6:7 that even the "good moral living" - law-keeping priests need to be "obedient to the faith".

The keeping of the law of Moses is NOT the same as being
"obedient to the faith".

Acts 6:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] The word of God kept on spreading; and the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were
becoming obedient to the faith.

Pagans/Gentiles also need to
be "obedient to the faith" and believe in Christ and what He has done for life and living.

Romans 1:5 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about
the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name's sake,

All people of all types are called to be "
obedient to the faith" - which is belief in Christ alone for life and living.

Romans 16:26 (NASB)
[SUP]26 [/SUP] but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations,
leading to obedience of faith;

She even thought he might be a prophet!
But you cannot long fake walking in the Spirit in love. I know, because I tried so hard for so long. But it was never going to happen until He dealt with my pride and, much to my chagrin, He cannot seem to deal with it in any way other than letting me take a hard and hideous fall. Pride comes before a hideous fall.
You are right Stunned. The fruit reveals a false prophet. But, anyone can repent. I know and understand what his goal is. It's my goal too.

Am at odds with his words he prints here that aren't loving. Whether or not they are true is not the point. We can speak truth but we don't have to insult.

There is more to the obedience of faith than it first seems. Because He takes us from faith to faith, showing us where we are not fully trusting. And no sooner do we get through one struggle and come out strong and firm, when after a little rest and peace, He brings us to the next. He is faithful to grow our faith. :) He can be trusted.

This is why He did not say: you will know them by their doctrine.
He said: you will know them by their fruits.
If a man isn't walking consistently in love and forgiveness in the Spirit, he has a lot to learn. Even if what he says is right, he is not speaking something the Spirit taught him but is speaking something a man taught him.

Some men can disagree and still love. The point is the love - not the necessity to agree on everything.

Ok. You are saying the same thing that others are saying to me. Thank you. I accept the instruction.

I refer you back to the definitions. Biblical definitions.
Aaannd, I refer you back to your post that started this:
What I know is that you who are grouped together post negative scriptures. Why? Faith is not negative. And grace being unmerited? Why put burdens on others when you yourself cannot bear them? Faith is for us. Grace is for us. God is for us. Nothing can separate us from Him and His love.

If one of you guys ever was hugged by Holy Spirit, you would change your tune.
It seems to me that since you started this, you should be the first to prove your accusation with you own scripture, eh?

You challenged me. I did not personally challenge you. But, have already proved one. You have yet to accept.

Plus, every post back from all of us back to your grouping...I really hate to divide the body...but...we are continually posting against your negative views of the scriptures.

You might as well preach brimstone and fire. Which I'm not denying is, but not for the body of Christ.
