You mean the fella that says the cross is not enough; 1 Corinthians 1:18, that the imputed righteousness of Christ is a neat little trick that doesn't work; Romans 3:21-22, and being secure in Christ is an idol; John 10:28, who also goes about calling others lost, liars, and workers of iniquity doesn't engage in meaningful dialog?

Tell me you're just joshin'!
It would be most favorable to say that I was only "joshin" unfortunately, I am as serious as a heart attack and I agree....forget the flat earthers.......there are bigger fish to fry in his case.....like overcoming the three in your list........

...and what I said was true...he believes he must KEEP HIMSELF SAVED...
If my continued believing is me earning my own salvation then I, and everyone else who has believed, was earning our salvation when we first believed.

and I believe JESUS keeps us saved.....
Lol, I believe Jesus keeps me saved, too. That's why I keep believing in Him.

p4t - I have to laugh.
Of course, your life is mocking others as seen on here. More Luke 18:9-12.

Many here have talked they are not religious,
Yes, we are not religious, we have a real relationship with Christ. That said, you are religious, sort of like Martin Luther years prior to his 95 theses.

but change the way you express the same truth and they go nuts.
Merely derogatory language as per the Scripture above. Why would we exchange the truth for your blatant errors? That would be called apostatizing, and would be rather foolish, would it not?

We are told often to learn different ways of expressing
Christ, but believers then object. Maybe the church is not as saved as some would love to believe.
Well, hmmm, since you're in a church (Anglican or Catholic most likely) I can see your point.

And worry about what you have to share!!!!! You lost me in your first tirades......God bless you, you
need it.
I lost you? Don't blame me for where you are. :D

You can twist all you want...just proves who really leads you.....You believe you can lose salvation...yes or no?

You believe you must KEEP YOURSELF saved YEs or NO?

Your deception is clear for all to see...you deny, twist and embellish on a regular basis...at the end of the day you trust yourself...not Jesus!

And your first part is false....your emphasis is upon what you do....not what he has done...all can go back and see you push your self ability and YOU MUST over what he HAS done....

I absolutely cannot stand deceptive people.....they say one thing and then twist it to make out like they are not saying what they are saying....it proves at the end of the day who really leads them..............and I get especially peeved when one does it with the word and in so doing takes the work of Christ and trash it while saying they MUST over what HE HAS DONE......deceptive to the core!

And of course there's no chance possible whatsoever that the problem is you are simply not comprehending what they are saying, right? Is there even the slightest room in your thinking for that possibility? You know, that you're just not getting the argument?

Teachable people always leave room for something they had never thought of and just don't instantly reject opinions and beliefs that are different than their own. That may be the biggest lesson I've learned from on-line forums. There's always the potential that someone sees things differently and more accurately than I. And I have learned lots of things by recognizing this truth.

The number 1 rule for a teachable person: Give those with different beliefs the honest courtesy of, first, just simply understanding their argument. But what I see mostly in on-line forums is people resisting and rejecting any and all opposing thought right off the bat simply because it does not agree with what they already believe. That person will never grow. In fact, they will shrink down further and further into the deeds of the flesh--envy, strife, rage, jealousy, bitterness, unforgiveness...

I fibbed in this post,A lie!
how can I keep salvation?
hmmm come to think of it I haven't seen any scripture that states, how to lose salvation,so I must not be able to lose my salvation, because no matter how stupid the sin somehow God puts up with me and has not said one word to me otherwise,so I do believe I'll just leave my salvation in God's hands where it belongs, because if it was up to me to keep my salvation I'd be sunk beneath sin again,no thank you.

Peter, the only thing I've ever seen Dcon "preach", is the fact that we are NOT saved by works. That we ARE saved by grace through faith and belief. It's silly to think that our works will keep us saved, or get us a free ticket to heaven. Works have zero to do with maintaining salvation. It's like trying to reverse the aging process--no matter how hard you try, it doesn't produce favorable results.. LOL
PJ has been here over a year now and has yet to prove he knows what DC or most of us believe, I doubt it will change soon.

Correct, Jesus has your sin covered. It's your unbelief that he can't touch.

How does one have the benefit of a sacrifice that he has rejected in unbelief? So keep believing, Joe, and the power that keeps you saved (through your faith) will also grow you up into the likeness of Jesus....despite your failures. Just keep trusting in Christ.

The only way to lose salvation, is to deny God. I know many who have given the middle finger salute to God...

Nope. Only those who think salvation can be lost

if you truly believed Jesus keeps you saved, you would never think you could lose it.

No

The one who keeps you saved keeps you saved, You do not hae to keep him, If you have to keep him, you kept yourself saved, he did not keep you saved.

I wish you would listen to a lot of your arguiments, They make no sense whatsoever.

Jesus can't touch your (general your) unbelief? Then what about all the unbelievers who believed in Him when He did miracles? What about the thief on the cross, who had unbelief until he saw that Jesus was God in the flesh? What all the modern day people who came from unbelief, into belief and were saved? If Jesus didn't touch their unbelief, who did??

If you could only take your own advice, with that last line in your post, "just keep trusting in CHRIST." Jesus' death saved you for all time. :) Have faith in that and in Him. Don't put your faith into your own works.

He has it exactly backwards. His gospel is mancentric in power instead of being empowered and completed by God.

Yep, Phart has arrived on the scene and has taken over.

The huge problem he has is in his fallacy of free will and a false notion of faith. IOW, yes, everything he believes is based upon man, or specifically in him. He believes man has the ability and power to undo and outdo God, he believes he has this power and that God cowers to be Sovereign over a mere man made of dust. Yes, Phart thinks he has this much power. But of course God is Sovereign in creation, just not Sovereign in salvation over man. Wait? Isn't man also a creature? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely see what you are saying it is still so so baffling to me though

The person who led me to the Lord when I was in University ( a reformed baptist btw) taught me via scripture that I was secure in Jesus and right away I just knew it was Truth, I just find it baffling that someone would argue against it, being secure in Christ really is the Good News, there is no Good News otherwise.

I know that and you know that. But as long as he says he can stop believing himself out of salvation, He says he keeps himself saved, whether he admits it or not, thats what he is saying.
