For some strange reason people spend a long time miss-reading.

Jesus is glorious, and the cross says it all. God made man, God who died for our sins,
and He would not provide a way to victory?

Eternal love is hard to see when we have been betrayed by people so often and so
deeply. But this is the gift of grace God brings us, when we accept it and it becomes
our own, Amen to the King.
Amen to the king indeed brother :) Keep up the Good works as you my frind are truly inspired...

I was pondering this,, and i think whilst you may be right for some but not all...

I think some are truly in denial and have unfornutately Got a demon of some sort maybrnot possesion but maybe the demon is close by them maybe in another possessed vessel God bless there soul and i pray that there demons be Gone right now.

I cant see anything else my frind that demon theology as got a hold of this thread.. and we we must learn to tame are toungue when dealing with such habbits...

We must pray in iunion that we stick together no matter what comes through the Gates.

It could be a verry clever demon able to speak truth to get you to believe a lie that is not to seek God our salvation with a seeking heart each day,,, coz it must be for this man made tradition to stare up so much strife.

We must pray a men to the king each Day or most days.. Does God answer Prayes on a sabbath ?. I think so coz it i written the lords work is never done..

nope im not sinless but i was filled with sin and love of sin and the more i let go of myself
the more i let God guide me

the less i sin

i also no longer love sin

Gods cast out my potty mouth, my violent life style, my stealing, my drinking, my drugs, my lust, my concern and fear of death or desire for worldly things

thats not cause i felt like being a "good guy" or think im sinless

thats cause God called me out
showed me the truth
and im learning to love him

how i show him is repentance and hes helping me get better and better at it
The key for me is as you have said

"I also no longer love sin"

Because we admit we sin, struggle with lusts of the flesh which we find difficult to overcome, don't walk the way we know Jesus wants us to DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE LOVE WHAT WE DO.

If we don't love it then it means we must hate it.

God looks at our heart.

He can work with that, he can walk with us, talk with us and we with him and we can hear what he is saying to us.

The only ones with these symptoms are the ones who...

a. Twist, embellish, partially quote, misquote, misapply and or flat lie in a deceptive way to make one say or imply something they have not

b. Push a sinless, self serving works based pseudo salvation

c. Who refuse to acknowledge the above facts which are obvious to all.......

"Cake takers" "workers for" "embellish-ites" yep for sure....!

Hi dcontroversial,

Yes, James did say that. My apologies. But, yes, there is great confusion. Tell me, who is greater: A man who lived a vile life, yet, was baptized a Christian, and said his prayers, read his bible, but would seek the world at the cost of other people's lives. He would make many widows and orphans in the name of money disguised as a cause of righteousness and industry. He would attend church every Sabbath, but would liquor up and hit his wife afterwards.
Or
A man who never knew Christ or his teachings, but, lived an honest life, gave to the poor, love his family with all his heart, did his best to be an upstanding citizen in the part of the world where he lived.

No matter what a person says how much they believe in Christ, if they do not do his will, they are not of Christs'. The person who never knew God, yet does His will, knows God better than the hypocritical Christian.

Being Christian does not put us on a pedestal. What it does it gives us the responsibility and knowledge of what a Christian should be. We are held at a higher standard because we know. If we knew, but did not, we have no faith, our faith being dead. The person who lived a Christian life without knowing God or Christ, is a Christian, because he follows God, because God is good, and God is love. He that hath love in his heart for his fellow brothers, has love for God, for God loveth all his children.

It is simple. You follow God's commandments, you are saved by grace. If you reject God's commandments, you have no faith, and will not be saved, rather, you will suffer more because you knew what you had and you threw it away, like the miser who kept his talent buried.
This argument is moot and this post is nothing more than another works based false theology....we do not follow God's commands to be saved by grace.....wow....talk about ignorance and putting the ox before the cart....I see another "cake taker" agreed with you!

Hey "cake takers" and "workers for"....have you done enough today....NOPE.........

remember this-->Plenteous in number will be the amount of people who come before the Lord boasting of their works as their ticket to enter the Kingdom of GOD....only to be cast from his presence because, like thieves, you have attempted a door that is not viable nor scriptural!

NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy has he saved us<--PAST TENSE based upon mercy and faith....not works

Grace is the result of Christ's work of faith alone, it does not come from us lest any man boast in false pride. Having the faith of Christ that works in us by a work we could do only shows someone has blasphemed the name we are called by.

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you.

Now
remain in my love
.

If you
keep my commands,

you will remain in my love,

just as I have kept my
Father’s commands and

remain in his love
.
John 15:9-10

Amen

Its the result of putting the cart before the horse or turning things uopside down, not walking by faith and therefore doing dipsite to the Spirit of grace.

Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the "Spirit of grace"?

We are saved by a work inrspect to the person of Christ's faith Not of ourselves lest any man boast in false pride.

Titus 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men

Learn the difference between religious works which is Institutionalized Christianity, and the works of faith, the Christian faith (faithfulness to God through obedience from the heart, this is love)

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law,(religious works) but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed (obeyed from the heart) in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, (the reconciliation that became accessible because of the works/faith of Christ that justified God’s mercy) and not by the works of the law: (religious works) for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (Religious activities do nothing to purge the lustful indulgences of the flesh)

"works of the law" is 5 times in Galatians and once in Romans; Paul uses this term to refute the Judiazers that were pushing circumcision, ceremonies, feasts, new moons, and sabbaths upon the new Christians at the church in Galatia...This is why Paul asked them the question, You having begun in the Spirit are no going to be made perfect in the flesh activities (works of the law)

Hey JIM,

Forgot nothing....the thread is about salvation based upon faith void of works....to interject works as a requirement for salvation or to keep salvation is false....and no one has said true believers will not bear fruit or produce...just that the produce is a result of salvation, faith, growth and maturity that one already possesses.
