Who cares who was nice to "Ralph-?" I mean it isn't wrong to be nice to him nor is it mean to oppose him.
People are more worried about "their name" and "character" than they are the Gospel. And that's a fact.
If they perceive "their character" got, um, "attacked" they're on it and go full on defense mode even though they've never been attacked. It's only their perception for calling them out on their position, they deem this as an attack on "their character."
Posting what a person has said, did, their stance, and/or opposing their view isn't an attack on "their character." If you think it is then watch what you say, do, and make your stance and view Biblical because someone will post about it.
When folks like PJ attacked the Gospel then it's "Lend him an ear!" and he gets a bye for blaspheming the work of Christ and those who find security in Christ. The same never once jumped in to defend the Gospel against this as they do in the case for "their character."
The Gospel didn't get the same level of respect and concern. Too much concern over self-importance.
