For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
Rom 12:3

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
2 Cor 5:20

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Col 3:12

on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.
2 Thess 1:10

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.
Eph 5:3

Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Titus 2:14

Great glory to God, he has redeemed us from wickedness, purified us as His
Holy People, in which we should rejoice for Great is the King of Kings.

The enemy will always try and deny the great place Christ has brought us
into through unbelief, so stand strong with the breast plate of righteousness
and the shield of faith with which to quench the arrows of the enemy.

I pray God gives us more men and women who not only preach but live these words.

Do you examine your own heart AND JUDGE YOUR SINS?

or Are you too busy pulling specks from others eyes?

Are you compassionate when you tell others they don't matter?

Are you kind when you call people nutcases?

Are you humble, gentle, patient or do you get offended and attack and libel others from your pain?

Ariel, let me review why in exasperation I call people nutcases.

Every law maker, civil servant, judge, policeman knows the system works because of laws.
It defines where everyone is, and everyone is treated equally and as far as possible fairly.

English common law is used around the world and has stood the test of time of centuries
of use to deliver justice.

Now the Kingdom of heaven is no different. It has rules, precepts, ways of being. God is
so bound by rules and warnings He goes out of His way to warn His people.

Christ emphasised he did not come to do away with the law but to fulfil it.
Paul emphasised though the ceremonial, dietry, temple rules have gone, the moral rules
still stand true. And rather than being under them, in Christ we fulfill them by Gods
Spirit giving us a heart full of love and desire to walk in His ways.

Now to say this God no longer cares about sin, or rules, or behaviour, is nuts.
We are called to be the righteous pure, holy people of God. And the reason why people
kick so hard against it, because they have to face some tough realities and do some
tough things. These are the hardest things any human has to do. And it is almost
impossible.

But this one point is everything. The dividing line between the Kingdom of light and that
of darkness. There are no compromises here. Get right with God or He will get right with you.

So lawlessness, the absence of law, is the world of the anti-Christ. The evil one who will appear
in the last days is the lawless one, who follows no boundaries or limits and delights in breaking them
all.

For me it is strange that these very truths are the ones they attack, no a little, but totally.
You need no bigger fruit of the spirit behind this.

Humbleness.

I am what I am, just a poor man sharing the wonders of the Kingdom.
And the principles we are talking about stand by themselves, they judge us and call
us to account or fall. And I am called to testify and stay true to my Lord.

And the point being disputed is Gods word and His intention. So I am actually not part
of the issue at all, and none of it relies on me. This is why I wonder why such things
are even discussed. Either we submit and follow the sermon on the mount or we fall
when the sand is shaken.

I can see on the day of judgement guys coming and saying, "He told us the truth but
not in a nice enough way, so it is his fault we failed to take heed of the words."

Not exactly the type of defence that will mean anything, or even be put forward.
I think trembling and gnashing of teeth will all that will be left.

When Jonah came to Nineveh I am sure they were shocked, because the prophet
had no desire to do what he was doing and he must have looked a total mess.

With God you either pay attention to His words or judgement. Brutal but fair.

Time

The same issues have been discussed for over a year now. If they do not give a fig
for any of it, even if someone rose from the dead to share, nothing would change.

People fall into sheol everyday, with good intentions and nothing gained.
I used to think the fear of death would drive some to ask, until I knew two people
faced with cancer who both died had no interest in seeking the Lord.

They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
Rev 12:11

All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.
Rev 13:8

They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.
Rev 17:14

Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
Rev 19:9

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
Isaiah 6:1-4

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
Rev 5:9

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
John 15:16

If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory.
Matt 12:20

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
1 Cor 15:54

for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews 15 who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to everyone 16 in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit.
1 Thess 2:14-16

To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
Titus 1:15-16
