Stay in a bad marriage for the sole reason because God said to
Unbelievers can stay in bad marriages. So, your example is pointless.
I said name some good works a Christian can do that and unbeliever can't.
Even though Christians can do things unbelievers can't
Works of righteousness really do distinguish the believer from the unbeliever.
I'll ask you this again, because you called me an unbeliever the last time, but you never answered the question:
If I gave one dollar to the Salvation Army at Christmas time, and the next year I gave two dollars, and the year after that I gave three dollars - always increasing by one dollar, would that not be a progression in good works? Would that be enough to satisfy those work requirements of yours, Ralph?
If not, how many good works do you need to see before you judge one a believer, Ralph?
Because you are sure good at judging us as unbelievers.
When you get down to it, people like you simply want some of the glory due God. You want to be praised and exalted for your wonderful works - for your "holy living". You yearn for the praise of men.
You, and those like you, are completely Pharisaical.
