Everyone in the universe is saved.

Well then, I have nothing to fear.

What a great religion. No wonder so many people flock to it.

I believe that is called universalism or something... I've never met anyone who believes that but I've heard about it on the internet.

Are you suggesting someone here believes this when you say "so many people flock to it"...
:confused:

Even if that were possible you still would have God to fear.

Psalm 49:13-15 This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of their followers, who approve their sayings. Selah Like sheep they are destined for the grave, and death will feed on them. The upright will rule over them in the morning; their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions. But God will redeem my life from the grave; he will surely take me to himself. Selah

2 Timothy 3:1-9 Godlessness in the Last Days But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

Not really Tv has nearly been my life since I was a toddler.
You should learn a musical instrument then you could use some of your obvious creative skills to praise God. I was just writing down the chords and lyrics to, "The Doxology", from the Internet. Later my wife and I can sing this song together. The only issue would be if you do not care to play a musical instrument and that would be understandable.

My M-I-L told me a few years ago, when my wife was little, see caught her in her room one day playing church. She was unaware of her mommy spying on her, as she just stood back and watched her daughter play. She had a dress on, a coloring book in her hand(I think it was a coloring book), using it as her 'bible'. She was standing in front of a mirror testifying. She held her right hand up and said, "I want you all to pray for me, that I can hold on."(It was something along those lines)

Anyhoo...around here, they say that a lot. They want ppl to pray for them so that they can 'hold on' to God. It's not about God, but them. She heard that growing up in FW churches, and she emulated that which was instilled into her. As my mommy used to say, "Little pictures have big ears".

If we could lose God and our salvation, we would. We are not wise enough, strong enough, adept enough to do this on our own.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.[1 Peter 1:3-5]

We are protected by the power of God, through faith. Seeing that faith is a gift of God given to the believer at the point of regeneration, and His gifts are irrevocable, we can NOT lose our salvation, as we can not throw away our faith.

As Jesus clearly said "and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. "[John 10:28]

Doxology by definition just means and "expression of praise to God, by prayer or musical expression. it is also a song that you can find by doing a youtube search. It is sometimes used as part of a worship service.

I really like the idea of a portable hand harp.

Doxology was one of my favorite hymns as a kid - it meant the sermon was over! Not sure about the 'The' part of the title - always thought it was just 'Doxology'. A sort of odd title i thought in a way. It remains one of my favs to this day - despite my youthful impatience lol.

From the Koine word "δόξα" baseline meaning is "opinion" but when used in the context of referring to God in the NT means "glory", "majesty", or "splendour"!

The word "doxology" is based on this...
Normally we would talk about "the doxology" to refer to a liturgy, either spoken or sung, proclaiming the glory of God!

Enjoying the banter, but thought a bit of definition might help!

Faith alone is sufficient. Dead faith is not faith. The idea isn't that someone had faith and lost it, but they never had faith at all. This appears to be the part that many struggle with: Faith transforms people. True faith is not dead. What the Spirit started He is also faithful to finish.
You are correct. The issue however is as James and Paul stated faith without works is dead. Paul for example stated he will show you his faith by his works. That is the only evidence we can see to discern wolves in sheep's clothing. As the saying goes, "Actions speak louder than words." Does the person walk the talk. While we all fail we should see the attempt to walk the narrow path.

The doxology is a specific song. Here are the lyrics.

Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

In many churches it is sung to end the service.

The problem is atheists ignore the fact God exists. I tell them on a political forum that big bang evolution violates 5 different scientific laws and they mostly ignore that and keep ranting about the fairy in the sky. One tried and failed to prove big bang evolution is fact and fell on his face when I responded with facts to shoot down that theory. They blind themselves to the existence of God. They ignore the miraculous happenings archaeological digs at Sodom and Jericho discovered.

Sodom was vaporized by a pyroclastic (super hot) blast.

Jericho had it's inner massive wall fall outward making a ramp over the smooth ramp and outer smaller wall. The people were massacred, the buildings destroyed by fire and nothing of value was taken. The vats holding the just harvested grain were full and people's valuables were not touched.

Archaeology proves the Bible after enough digs at a site are done. Archaeological digs are done with trenches in a selected area. At one site the first dig showed a poor city. A later dig showed a wealthy city. My archeologist friend told me there could be extremely important evidence just feet away from the dig. That is the problem with trench digs. It would be prohibitedly expensive to do a full site dig.
