I'm sure the Lord understood the joke and my motives.
I wasn't talking about your post didn't even see it. I was talking about the one joking about speaking in tongues.

So I don't even really know what you said, but that's between you and the Lord. I'm not trying to judge you or anyone else here...just saying that I try and use caution in that area for myself because blasphemy really is a scary subject for me anyhow.

sometimes, we can never predict the consequence of our words

it's true that action speaks louder than words, but words are also important,
if we can't handle small matters, how can we handle big matters (somewhere in the bible, about stewardship or something)

And that is pretty much what I was saying. We need to weigh our words and use some caution at times... me included.

Yeah ok, but I'm not going to crack jokes and write something off that is in the scripture just because I don't understand it. That goes right along with what you posted there. So I use caution because, I might just be attributing something to Satan that is really of God.

I think the Pharisee in Acts 5 put it best...It's best just to leave it alone if we don't understand it. If it is not of God it will come to nothing, but if it is then we might find ourselves fighting against God. I for one, sure don't want to be found on that end...just saying

Acts 5
38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
Why on earth would you align yourself with these Pharisees in Acts Chapter 5 who are the ones who said, crucify Him. 40yrs I have walked with my Savior Jesus and not once did I worry about blasphemy of the Holy Spirit not once.

God bless

Oh good grief...I didn't align myself with those Pharisees...I'm saying the one dude said it pretty well in my opinion. He didn't just cry crucify them cause he didn't understand them...He said leave them alone if it is not of God it will come to nothing, but if it is of God then we might find ourselves fighting against God...Pretty wise statement in my opinion.

Which is a complete counterfeit, as far as I am concerned.

No Unbelieving Jews being spoken to in their own Nature Dialect, and those who heard it, Understood every word of it in there NATURE LANGUAGE, with the Disciples from GALILEE speaking it with NO detectable ACCENT at all.

But hey if you want to do what you want to call tongues, in your service, I will not interfere. But it is not allowed in our service.

No I do not want to debate it at all. I have done that with WAY TOO MANY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES from AG, Pentcostal, and Charismatic Churches, and all they do is get angry.

Tough crowd here....But I mean is it really that hard to just let God sort it out...or maybe we should just go around cracking jokes about everything and see exactly where that gets us...just saying.
