But he does not like being called on his heresy, so he slanders you when you point his heresy out to him, that has been his modus operandi all along.
It's not uncommon for false teachers to lash out at you when you call them out on their false teachings. The sword of the Spirit hurts when it cuts!

"So some who have yet to have the Holy Spirit reveal the beauty and simplicity of this Gospel need for us to have patience and love with them even when they use tactics such as saying disagreement equates to hatred."

man your right about that, no excuse but this has been an issue for close to a year or so. the gospel is not just the death and resurrection IF we believe Jesus words about HIS Gospel see look

Mark 1:1 "The beginning of the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD"

Mark 1:14-15 "Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD, And saying, THE TIME IS FULFILLED, and THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND: REPENT ye, and BELIEVE THE GOSPEL" <<<

Matthew 4:16-17 "The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.From that time Jesus began to PREACH, and to say, REPENT: for the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND."

Matthew 4:23 "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people."

Matthew 9:35 "And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people."

Luke 4:18"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to PREACH THE GOSPEL to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to PREACH DELIVERANCE to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised" (ISAIAH 61:1)

john 3: 31-36 "He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. He that hath received HIS TESTIMONY hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent SPEAKETH THE WORDS OF GOD: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. The Father loveth the Son, and hath GIVEN ALL THINGS INTO HIS HANDS. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that BELIEVETH NOT THE SON shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." ( deuteronomy 18:15-19, acts 3 :22-26)

John 8:23 "And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. "

John 12: 48-50 "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."

John 14:6"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: NO MAN cometh unto the Father, but by me."

John 14:15-17 "If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

john 14:23-26 "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

John 8:31-32 "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you FREE."

John 8:51 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, IF a man keep my saying, he shall never see death."

Becfause i hold to the truth of this and have faith that Jesus is the One to believe first and foremost, How is there any christian who would deny what thier Lord says and have any sort of clear conscience???? if this belief is offensive i dont care to be honest
because o will not part from the above, is why im a "trouble maker" according to a couple gog believers because oi refuse to make uop my own version of salvation or spread it to others.....but im done with the argument anyways ill look to simply avoid at all costs the gog crowd hopefully theyll give me the same respect.

You know this line of dialogue sounds a lot like gossip and evil speaking to me.

Why don't y'all talk to the guy or address only his false teachings?

Why personal attacks on either side?

I thought the goal is to set the captives free of the lies that entrap them....not lash out because that guy makes me mad...

Probably painting a target in myself, but I was always taught two wrongs don't make a right.

God says to love not only our siblings but our enemies too.

Have no clue what happened since my last post a few days ago, but too often we fall into the temptation to reaact in the same unjust and unhelpful manner we were attacked with...

Not that I have seen you do it Mailman, but thin line.

This too looks like a personal attack.

However, I pointed out his heresy and he personally attacked me with slander, and attacked me again when I countered. Are you against him in this scenario, or me? He is exposed as a false teacher while he goes around falsely accusing others of being false teachers. If you are against me speaking the truth to his lies, I don't know what else to say.

I was speaking in general about false teachers. I've been debating on Christian websites for several years now and it's my observation. Many false teachers don't do well with being called out on their false teachings.

Not even talking to you Magenta, and for good reason.

You are feeling defensive and I know when I get that way, I get emotional and talking to me doesnt help.

Only time with God and prayer does.

Forgiveness should be given to all because God forgave us when we didn't deserve it.

Yeah and many Christians in general don't do well being called out when they behave in an unChristlike manner.

Fyi, I have not read, this thread so my observation is about a member who has never posted here.

I actually came to hang out with y'all because when, I left there seemed to be real fellowship.

I was tired of being told I was a liar, slander, hypocrite, etc.

In all fairness I believe Jason/followjesus has good intentions and he just can't see that other fellow believers in Christ can have a different view then his own interpretations of Jesus's words.

Sometimes in this belief all of us can mis-represent what is really being said by others or we can just plain not agree too - which is fine. He is entitled to his personal beliefs. I bless him in the name of the Lord.

Jesus and our loving Father will be faithful to him - the same as for all of us! We have a good, good Father!

I am not feeling defensive, I am simply pointing out heresy and falsehoods and speaking the truth plain and simple while a certain person continues to lie about me, as he has done for quite some time. I am not sure, are you saying I should never counter lies with the truth? Do you never stick up for yourself? Do you always feel defensive when you do? I would prefer it if you do not attempt to tell me how I feel. I really don't appreciate it, and telling you this is what I call HAVING GOOD BOUNDARIES.

I agree...all of us when we see the knife to the throat of one of our "sacred cows" of our church teachings and traditions - we can let the fur fly in the disguise of the "defense of the truth" ( as we believe it to be..) ...:)

Having good boundaries is an essential interpersonal skill, and it entails being able differentiate the truth from what is not the truth, as well as having the ability to speak up and stand on the side of truth. People try to silence me all the time for whatever reason, while they continue whatever they are blabbing on about, trying to discount and discredit me in quite a few ways actually, sometimes completely making stuff up out of the bowels of their paranoid delusions. Then they have the audacity to post what they think as if it is my truth. They may become outraged when I call them on their nonsense, and sometimes they will even put me on ignore because I stand up to their ridiculous rationalizations and justifications for their reprehensible behavior. People are funny, though it is not always amusing. Still, I maintain my right to have boundaries, and to stand for the truth.

Yeah but I am, so let's just drop it.

No taking what someone says to another person as a personal attack would be good interpersonal skills too.

There is more than one Jesus?!!??

There is one Lord, one God, one gospel.
How do you know YOU are serving the right Jesus?
Have you spoken to Him personally?

What is the person following a different Jesus doing wrong?

Is the WOF movement following the right Jesus?
How come we don't hear about them.
They make God to be OUR serveant, instead of the other way around.
God as Santa Clause.
Is THAT a different Jesus?

What about the Hyper-faith movement.
Is that a different Jesus.
All we need is faith... who cares what Jesus said to do. We have faith, right?

Yes, I was simply pointing out that your post was against someone, and sought clarity as to who it was actually directed against, and did not mean, by saying it was a personal attack, that it was necessarily a personal attack against me... My hair is washed now :D I have put more color in it... any guesses at to which color I may have chosen?
