I suggest you redo your research into Passover Week. I recently did it and found what I posted. It starts and ends with a high day. Here is what I found.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passover

Date and duration
See also: Hebrew calendar
The Passover begins on the 15th day of the month of Nisan, which typically falls in March or April of the Gregorian calendar. Passover is a spring festival, so the 15th day of Nisan typically begins on the night of a full moon after the northern vernal equinox.[15] However, due to intercalary months or leap months falling after the vernal equinox, Passover sometimes starts on the second full moon after vernal equinox, as in 2016.

To ensure that Passover did not start before spring, the tradition in ancient Israel held that the first day of Nisan would not start until the barley was ripe, being the test for the onset of spring.[16] If the barley was not ripe, or various other phenomena[17] indicated that spring was not yet imminent, an intercalary month (Adar II) would be added. However, since at least the 4th century, the date has been fixed mathematically.

In Israel, Passover is the seven-day holiday of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, with the first and last days celebrated as legal holidays and as holy days involving holiday meals, special prayer services, and abstention from work; the intervening days are known as Chol HaMoed ("Weekdays [of] the Festival").
I'm not sure how safe it is to listen to religious men of the world in these matters. Jesus and His Prophets said over and over that they have corrupted His Word. I learned from the Word of God which became Flesh. I would encourage you to do the same.

Lev. 23:
5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover. ( Not the 15 day as your web site states.)

So the medium you posted from doesn't agree with the scriptures here. Passover starts on the 14th day on the month which begins at sundown on the 13th day, and ends at sundown on the 14th day. At sundown, the beginning of the next day, the 15th, begins the High Sabbath, The First day of Unleavened Bread.

6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread (Passover is over) unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

Remember what Jesus said about the Jewish religious leaders of His Time.

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Please let me know if you can see how the website is in error.

6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Philippians 2:3
Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.

how is your understanding of Matthew 17-18 going?
need some help?
haha of course not; you are the sagacious study-person and i am a worm and not a man.

Passover starts on the 14th day on the month
seeing that the month starts with the new moon, one wonders why nobody seems to ever talk about the new moon festival God commanded be kept.

but what does this have to do with Matthew 17:24-27? please show me where sabbath is found in this miraculous lesson Christ teaches us!
that would be great!
and the new moon and passover are in here too, i think. can you draw them out of the Lord's teaching?

thanks

I learned years ago about the hatred the religions of the land have for "The Christ" of the Bible. So much so that they are compelled to ignore much of His Word and create another. But as He said, if you won't listen to HIS Voice as the Word of God that created ALL THINGS, you won't be persuaded to listen to His Voice as the Messiah who came as a sheep for the slaughter.

19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Amen
I am very sorry that you were unfortunately caught up in a false religion. In defense of all believers and true disciples of Jesus Christ, "we are not your enemies."

2Corinthians10:1
"Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.

2Corinthians5:17
Therefore, if anyone is "in Christ", the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

For instance you say: "The thing is given the verses we are looking at they never helped anyone."

Who were these "Christians" teaching if not people. Who were they casting devils out of if not people. What one of them would say they weren't helping people.
In a sense I am saying that.
But if we assume they were could it lead to further problems?

Luke 11:20-26
20 But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. 21 When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. 22 But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils. 23 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.
An Unclean Spirit Returns
24 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ 25 And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order. 26 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”

So if the house has been been cleaned but is empty then the house to me is void of the Holy Spirit

The exorcised person becomes like a clean house, although empty if God is not present, and still exposed to spiritual danger.

So if these people cast out demons and do not reveal that God has delivered them in the name of Jesus then to me they do not know Jesus.

A bit like this guy

Acts 8:9-11

The Sorcerer’s Profession of Faith
9 But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, 10 to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” 11 And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time.

And this is my point.
They were not Christians.

But God can use such to purpose his kingdom.

And it was Jesus who said they practiced Lawlessness. I am assuming He is talking about God's Laws. If you have evidence to the contrary, please share it with me.
I will look into this and do some research

I will look into this and do some research
All people not born of God practice lawlessness. Even those who practice religion do this, Jesus said this himself when he said there will be many who come and speak of all their great work. Yet jesus will say depart who practice lawlessness

Don;t read to much into them practicing lawlessnes, jesus said unless our righteousness EXCEDES gheirs, we have no hope. Ie. They are the most rightious non believers on earth. Because they did follow the law. It is just the law will never save anyone.

The truth is that the deceiver has been deceiving from the beginning until now.

These deceivers will REJECT and NULLIFY the Word and believe the deceiving spirits.(Isaiah 5:20-24, Mark 7:6-13)

...while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:13

...THE SPIRIT CLEARLY SAYS that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through HYPOCRITICAL LIARS, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 1 Timothy 4:1-2

How would we know who were the ones that were deceived?

We know that Eve was deceived when she believed the deceiver and disobeyed God's command.

Who are the deceivers and who were deceived?

..But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

...At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Matthew 24:10‭-‬14‭, ‬24

...For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
2 Corinthians 11:13‭-‬15

...And those that were deceived believed in the deceivers mentioned above and disobeyed God's commands because they were made to believe that they would not surely die, IOW, "always saved". But scriptures warn us not to be deceived;

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them.
Ephesians 5:6‭-‬7

...Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ ” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”...
Genesis 3:1‭-‬19

Just think what could have happened if Eve did not believe the serpents deception but OBEYED God instead. ...NO NEED TO DISCUSS SALVATION FOR SURE because no one needs to be saved.

The truth is that Adam and Eve were created according to the image of God's righteousness and holiness and they BELIEVE and OBEY God until they got DECEIVED and disobeyed God.

Did God warn us about the deception? If He did, then why resist them?

So who would say now that OBEDIENCE TO GOD HAS NO BEARING IN SALVATION?
To your last line....those who know and embrace the truth......only deceivers tie faith with works or law keeping together to gain, keep or top off salvation....congrats...you are what you post against....a deceiver!

We had one on here with the same mantra saying the Scriptures are corrupt, casting doubt in the minds of others.

Of course, when it came time to hear him on the Scriptures or spiritual matters, well, he was a self-described expert. "Listen to me, as to the word of God, it's corrupt."

Our resident "faithing" heretic is doing the exact same thing: Listen to me, not the Word, I have THE wakeup call to the church. Millions before him have been lost according to him. Unreal yet this is what he is teaching.
Exactly why he went to iggyville.....He claims to have been teaching at a Stanford level for 30 plus years and uses your for you're......= full of..........!

John 3:18
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
John 14:1
1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
John 20:31
31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

The Bible is full of the Word BELIEVE...I could go on and on and on ...

Romans 10:9-11
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

Praise God and thank You Jesus \:)/...xox...
Amen Rose.....keep swinging sister....the fools and deceivers are rank and file deep........!!

well, if he actually does consider every word of God, and he actually does know the true gospel, and the Bible doesn't contradict itself, and it is truly the miraculous and incredibly profound words we believe it is, i don't see why he wouldn't be able to use this passage, it's context and the specific order of events here in the scriptures to show us all what the truth of God's salvation is, who Jesus Christ is and what the wonderful work of God is as it is being testified of in these 4 verses.

probably he just needs time to study.
i will keep reminding him in case he's drawn away by the cares of the world and forgets to eat his bread :)

And this is my point.
They were not Christians.

But God can use such to purpose his kingdom.
Well this seems to deflect a little from our original conversation. I would only say that, as you stated, they didn't help anyone. Which means they "thought" they were casting out demons, but they were not. They "thought", they were convinced they were "Christians" but they were not.

Much in the same way the Mainstream Preachers of Christ's time called themselves "Children of Abraham" when the truth was they were children of the devil. A tough pill to swallow for religious men who had been following the same religion for hundreds of years, completely convinced they were God's Children.

Did they know they were? Well God showed them through His Word, they just didn't "believe" Him. They were deceived. This is why the Christ spent to much time warning about being deceived.

So how would I know if someone was truly sent by God to teach His Word, or if they sent themselves to teach man's religion? It's simple. I would just trust in the Word of God which became Flesh.

Is. 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

1 John 2:
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

2 Tim. 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. (Lawlessness)

So what if I look in the mirror in honesty and see that I am lawless in some things. How would I know? Because as it is written, God has shown both you and I what His Law is therefore there is no excuse.

Rom. 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Neither of us can deny this truth. So what does that make us? Sinners, Yes? And what did the Word of God which became Flesh create for sinners?

1 Tim. 1:
8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

But what if I don't steal from people but I fool around on my wife? I don't "NEED" the Commandment which says "Thou shall not steal", I need the commandment that says "don't commit adultery". And why do I need it?

James 1:
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass (Mirror)
24 For he beholdeth himself, (Sees and Admits his sin) and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. (And continues in, or "practices" the lawlessness.)

These in Matt. 7 were also shown their lawlessness, God said so. But they were not "Doers of His Word" as the man that built his house on the Rock, they deceived themselves.

I really wish you would answer the question I asked about the Broad Path.

And another question here. What if all the religions of the land we were born into "practice Lawlessness" like in Abraham's time. Should be follow the "broad Path" that "many" walk in His Name? Or should we stick to the Word of God which became Flesh, deny our self, take up our life's experiences and follow Him?
