So many do not understand bible sanctification. Sanctification comes with conversion, 100% part and parcel of conversion. Obviously when we speak of it, it may seem like something of its own but there is no such thing as conversion without sanctification. So what is this part of conversion referred to as sanctification. Start with what it is NOT. Sanctification is not a forever process of sinning and confessing and in 10 years after conversion you may be sinning say 10% or 20% less than before conversion. That type of idea is not sanctification, has nothing to do with sanctification or conversion. So what is sanctification? Lets think of that corn plant Jesus spoke of...corn planted (perfect seed)...blade comes up (perfect tiny plant)….developing ear (perfect at this stage too)..then full corn in the ear (perfectly mature). Sanctification starts with conversion and is a process of 100% YES lord. It is never a process of yes and no lord with a little less no as we go. Our Savior is a now savior and as we all know Christ saves from the curse of the law and from the curse of breaking the law...its called conversion, transformation, new man, new creature, all things new.
repentance after the godly sorrow brings a purified heart. no more boasting, no more hardness. but rather a meekness and humble heart, good for the master's use.

2Corinthians 7:9-11 As it is, I rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because you were grieved into repenting. For you felt a godly grief, so that you suffered no loss through us. For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death. For see what earnestness this godly grief has produced in you, but also what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what punishment! At every point you have proved yourselves innocent in the matter.

praise His Holy name. what clearing, what zeal. no double-minded no hard of heart. but a heart of flesh, given by the Lord, single-minded on Christ. focused on life, focused on righteousness. thank you Jesus for all

just throwing up out of context verses does not really mean anything.

there are over 33,000 verses in the Bible, you can just string some together and make it say whatever you want.

if course, if you cared about honesty, you would use context...
...For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom WE MUST GIVE ACCOUNT. Hebrews 4:12-13

...The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:35-37

...“After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!...’

...“His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. “‘Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ Matthew 25:14-30

...and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:15-17

...Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. If anyone chooses to do God’s will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him. John 7:16-18

...For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.” John 3:34-36

...We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. 1 John 2:3-6

...He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” John 8:47

...If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38

...For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, WHO CHANGE THE GRACE OF OUR GOD INTO A LICENSE FOR IMMORALITY and DENY JESUS CHRIST our only Sovereign and Lord. Jude 1:4

...“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? Luke 6:46 The Wise and Foolish Builders

oh I pray that one day we no longer argue over what is written and how we can use it to justify our own beliefs. I pray that one day we are all of one mind. We should not use scripture to justify our beliefs. Satan did that to JEsus. Saying it is written. Have we learned nothing from that exchange in the bible? How do we know who to believe and follow, how many would follow Satan with his obvious great knowledge of scriptures.

Pray brothers and sisters. If you hear the voice of the shepherd you are one of his sheep. If you hear nothing, you may need to pray to a different God.

Satan uses scripture out of context to deceive, but using the scriptures precept upon precept, line upon line as God said to use them shows the truth. Start with the 10 commandments. So many bible "believers" do not understand that these are the transcript of the character of God- Love. And Jesus says "If you love me, keep my commandments". Considering the 10 commandments (the constitution of heaven) and considering what God said regarding love and keeping the 10 commandments, we see ourselves as hopelessly broken and in need of a savior. Actually, the only thing we can present to God is our great need.

"Out of context" is a much overly used excuse for misunderstanding. Satan quoted scriptures better than any in here ever could. But he could not understand Gods plan as it is only revealed to his people. As I say to many and I will again, The Sheep know His voice, if you not hearing his voice, Pray again .

The Holy Spirit wants to Help.

The sword of the Spirit is the word of God. How about searching the scriptures and prayer. They must go together.

If you have a Bible read it. But without the Spirit to reveal its truth you only learning what the Flesh is willing to learn. MAny do not have bibles so whilst it can be useful it is not a prerequisite for hearing the Holy Spirit. But be sure it is the Holy SPirit you listen to as many Spirits in this world.

Also, Satan started his statements with "If thou be the Son of God..." With that lead in "if" Jesus knew instantly who was addressing him. Never listen to any spirit that would give the slightest hint or encouragement to proceed without the word. Paul said the Bereans were more noble than the thess... because they searched the scriptures to see if what Paul was saying was true.

Can you clarify your last sentence please.
Clarify in what way ? If the God you praying to does not respond , perhaps , and I did clearly say "may", perhaps you are praying to a false God

Im sure Jesus knew who it was without those words. His SPIRIT knows.

Many say "If" from pulpit too. "If you are Saved you are always saved" . "If you have faith you can claim prosperity. "

So we need to be careful yes. Many Spirits in the world we live in.

And you make sure how?

For it is by Grace we are saved, by placing our faith in Him and Repenting, When we follow Him we will bear much good fruit, it is by bearing fruit that we know we are saved.

I knew I was saved before any fruit came out from me...
Do you not think as a new born again child of God , who brings us gently into fellowship with Him , teaches who we are in Christ before He sends us out to do works for Him ?

I never even knew what producing fruit was until the Holy Spirit led me at His perfect timing to know these things...
Before I done any work for the LORD , I knew I was saved...xox...

Love is the most treasured, If we feel love where we once felt Hate we have changed and bear fruit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Amazing how many reject truth Rose and peddle their own version...John said.......Faith is what saves....not bearing fruit....and notice the two following scriptures....Nothing about fruit or working for

But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

I connect with Jesus within us (and also with my brothers and sisters in Christ) and Jesus is the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6)
Amen....One door....not 50..........I MYSELF AM THE DOOR he said and we enter that door dia grace through faith.......literally
