Dear Jesus,

I tried my best today but it wasn't my best.
Do you still love me?
I think you don't.
You see I think that if I don't give my best then I don't truly love you, then you do not truly love me.

You see, my past can dictate my future and I walk in the present.
Do you still love me.

You said many things while on earth.
One thing that sticks out is "Be perfect just as the Father is perfect"
How can I be perfect?
I'm a broken person, I can't be perfect but I want to be.
Do you still love me?

I go to bed and think of all the things I didn't do.
When I do is that wrong?
Or do you want to tell me about the things I did do and encourage me?
Even when I think of the wrong.
Do you still love me?

You see when I reject you I do so because I think you will reject me.
When I do that.
Do you still love me?

Lord I cry my eyes out, I just want to be like you.
But people tell me if I don't do, and do do then I don't really love you or lack faith.
I listen to them and am heavy.
Do you still love me?

I was told once because I was not baptised or spoke in tongues then I was not saved.
But I placed my faith in you.
But they say to me that I do not love you.
Is that true?
Do you love me?

I didn't know my earthly father.
A few shocking memories.
He went to hit my mum, he missed and broke my face.
He laughed and said it's my mum's and my fault.
Did my earthly dad love me. Afterall I deserved it. It affects my life.
Is that love?
God do you love me?

You say you love me.
The bible tells me so.
What is this love?
How does it work?
It's easy to relate to life experiences.
You know this, afterall you created us knowing that this would happen.

Does this love order us to comply and if you don't then I'm gonna break your face?
Seems some think this and preach it.

You said that you loved the world so much that you gave Jesus, so that whoever believes in him will be saved.

That seems the love you have for me.
I don't get it, dont always get but want and to walk in it.

Is that enough?

God do you still love me?
The cross says, whatever you can give is good enough.
It is not the size or quality of the gift, it is the gift comes from your heart, freely given, out
of love.

In the mess of ones life, the hurts, the disappointments, the ambitions, the expectations,
nothing before the Lord matters other than just being with Him.

"Be still and know I am God" Do you know this? Do you hear it? Does it dwell in you?
Do you know He has forgiven you? Not just what you think you know, but everything.
Do you know He has bound Himself to you, so you can walk with Him, one step at a time?

It is knowing the seed that is in our hearts, not that we fully know it, or that it is yet worked
through, but it is there.

Finding love in oneself is hard. To forgive oneself, to weep and know the pain, so hard, so
terrible, and know we are loved, completely here. This is the cross. And He knows our weakness
and our hurts and things that need dealing with.

We think we have to do, but it is we have to be, in Him. It is that love from Him that is our life
that changes things.

"I really could care less what you think, say and or your input"

I wonder whether this is our testimony of love in Christ.
Jesus cared what everyone thought, and wanted all to follow God and walk in His ways.
No person is beyond hope, even when it appears they have closed the door, things do
change and unexpected situations bring about a different perspective and how someones
loyalties lie.

So in Christ we do care, we do hope as Paul said

4 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up.
5 It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful.
6 It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth.
7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Cor 13
The same applies to your drivel PETER....I cannot take one serious when they have been banned twice already, post psycho babel and break the rules while peddling how righteous they are.....

That's like saying if we stumbled upon something while you walk, that we have probably never learn to walk in the first place and we only crawl on all fours

Uh what?

or if a car has a flat tire. Probably be the tire was never working in the first place that it's always have that whole that's full of holes

Sometimes, I think cc.com needs a logic 101 course
The tire was flat to begin with.

Sadly, some think the tire is ok, an ddoes not need fixed.

Others realize the tire is damaged and there is no hope.

Who will call the great tire doctor to have the tire fixed? And when the doctor fixes it, Is it healed. Or is it still flat?

*Insert tear emoji here*

Billy Graham, if everyone is honest, everyone should be able to feel your pain

Sin is ever before me Psalms 51:3

Either love or hate

Love God with your all? Impossible, therefore hate is the only truth

Be sincere you say,
if hate is the only thing we can be sincere about then what sincerely hate to thy utmost, what's blaspheme and desecrste his name

let's blaspheme God's name and hail Satan

tell the holy Spirit to beep off

bone chilling, by Hebrews 6:4-6
then so be it. The power of so be it

so be it!!
yes we can find our ultimate sincerity, the euphoric evil eye leer

demon!!!

*possessed by demon*

those who believe that salvation can be lost, *in a demonic voice* welcome to some deep level of hell, I hate you I hate God and I want to drag you down with me

I want a cook you in fire and brimstone
*insert evil laughter*

fire as red as blood
worms will consume you day and night
so hot even ashes will burn
screams so loud, your ears will bleed and hurt which makes you scream vicious cycle
you will weep till your eyes are dry, and the pain from your eyes will make you weep again
I the dark lord, finally, sadistic vengeance
*insert evil laughter*
gnashing of teeth, it will hurt so much, your teeth will continually gnash
your hurt brings joy to me
your woe brings peace to me
darkness so black you'd be blind by its
no visual reference, I can assault you in the darkness
welcome to my shadow realm
your soul is food to me I will eat it

oh no what's this, Son of God king of David
*demon tremble in fear*
just cast me to the pig and leave me alone

*demon possession ceased*
where am I?

Jesus said "I have cast the demons away from you, no one can serve two masters, with man this is impossible to love God but with God all things are possible, it may not be easy but I will strengthen you as promised by Philippians 4:13"

and I also saw a glimpse of wisdom
is it good to believe truth?
if we sincerely believe that's good to believe truth and we believe that that proves that sincere good as possible
like a drop of life in the sea of darkness
like how Moses will split the sea for us
like the light at the end of the tunnel
I rather believe that there is hope, than all hope is lost
I was blind but now I see ,
I was lost but now I found
Psalms 40:2
he lift me out of the mud of mire and planted my feet firmly on the rock
and be thankful, that Jesus cat out demons, I was lucky
or Romans 8:28 - called according to his purpose

If the if the tire Doctor cannot fix it, then leave that doctor because of incompetence, and if that doctor wants a scam others, than warning others to stay away from that doctor, would do a public service

Therefore, if those who believe that salvation can be lost, then help the community and walk away from ... I don't want to say it, I don't want to, it feels so wrong, and I hope others can see how wrong their thinking can be

Let's be thankful that the doctor can fix the tire and that the tire is healed

I'm not sure if I have a gift for a premonition, follow his steps, I think you could serve God better in the prayer request thread in cc.com

You can pray for them and believe that God will be happy of your service

On this thread no one listens to you anyway, which is discouraging

Pray in the prayer threads and be of encouragement to others

on second thought, I hope no atheists see this because they will take it out of context and advance their atheism

May God purify our intentions

seems for anyone who seem to post satire as far as possible to the point where we cannot distinguish between seriousness or tasteless joke

We can't separate truth from error, what if we walked away

Let's try philosophy
Real - x = fake
If x is applied for better quality imitation
It's indistinguishable

The brain in the vat thought experiment
Is it true that I think therefore I am or is the mind merely the illusory perceiver of illusion

Philosophy fails to help us
Oh, to whom can we trust?

God bless you. Again you seem to not be able to distinguish between points of walking
with the Lord and the love He puts in our hearts, and antagonism you feel towards individuals.

9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4

Thank you for the encouragement to speak from the word of God.

12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints
who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
rev 14

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst.
1 Timothy 1

I am always humbled by how little I know and how easily I fail to see Gods will and follow.
But praise the Lord, through the cross He loves me and draws me on, Amen, thank you Jesus.

3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought,
but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.
4 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
5 so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

If I remember correctly you were talking about bearing fruit and what we need to see is that person bearing the fruit of righteousness, meaning to be right with God. Now God is unfailing, that being said it is down to us. Only we are responsible for our thoughts and actions. I suggest you take a long hard look at yourself in prayer.

What's a slave to sin?
Is it a believer who has an addiction?
Like I did yet hated it, called out to the Lord for help for goodness knows how many years.

Then he dealt with me, he dealt with the cause of the effect.
Took 30 years.

Was I slave to sin?
If so was I still saved?
We must allow our theology to be shaped by the Bible, not by personal experience. Who our Kurios is determines who we are a slave to. A slave is one who is OWNED by a Kurios (master) The moment you were saved, Jesus became your Kurios/Master and sin no longer had a claim on you.

This I will say, you were not a slave to sin if you were a regenerate person, you may have just not learned how to walk in the reality that you were free from sin and had become a servant a Christ the moment you were saved. But I don't know the details of your situation. As I said in another post, slave to sin is a spiritual matter. Addiction is a spiritual matter, but it is also a psychological matter and sometimes a physical matter. SO the freedom from sin's dominion is instant, but the healing may take time.

Just as in sanctification. We are instantly sanctified in position, but that reality takes time to work out in our lives. IN the same way, we are instantly emancipated from sin, but we have to learn how to walk in that freedom, through things like "reckoning ourselves dead to sin and alive to Christ.

But we are not slaves to sin if we are regenerate. For we have been bought from the slave block by Jesus and are now slaves to HIM.

I suggest you read someone correctly before you ask them to take a long look at themself in prayer, (which I do daily).

I NEVER said "we need to see that person bearing fruit" nor did I ever say that a person needs to bear fruit to be right with God. YOu are yet another person that confuses a descriptive statement with a prescriptive statement.

Prescriptive statement- A person needs to bear fruit to be right with God. (not what I said)

Descriptive statement- A person who is right with God will bear fruit.

If you guys confuse descriptive statements with prescriptive statements when you read the Bible, you're going to have ALL KINDS of issues with your theology.

The verses below are descriptive statements, not prescriptive statements.

Galatians 5:24- And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts

Romans 6:17- But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Romans 8:5- For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

1 John 3:3- And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Romans 6:7- For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Descriptive statements- A statement that DESCRIBES someone or something.

Prescriptive statements- A statement that PRESCRIBES something. (state something as a rule that must be followed.

your misquote of me- what we need to see is that person bearing the fruit of righteousness, meaning to be right with God
The MISquote above about bearing fruit is a PRESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT that I NEVER made. I made descriptive statements, LIKE THE ONES below The verses below are DESCRIPTIVE, NOT PRESCRIPTIVE

John 15:5- 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit:
(this is a DESCRIPTIVE statement) for without me ye can do nothing.

Romans 6:22- But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. (this is a DESCRIPTIVE statement)

1 John 2:3- Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person (this is a DESCRIPTIVE statement)

1 John 2:10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister[c] lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. (This is a Descriptive statement)

Galatians 5:24- And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (This is a DESCRIPTIVE statement)

Etcetera...
