Well since it's going there.............
(and I KNOW this Q is going to bring out the bad in some people but I'm going there..........)
What about all the electronic "bibles" being used? I mean DEVICES (tablets, phones etc) because some didn't bring (do they even own?) an actual bible along?
Personally I think it is very ignorant and disrespectful............
(can of worms is open......)
You know......the truth....most people do not know where the books of the bible are located....very lazy and rarely pick it up other than Sunday morning and or maybe Wednesday......unless one attends a faithful church that teaches the word and they actually study or read the word daily....they will always be lost when asked to turn to most books of the bible.....get up and ask them to turn to the book of Hezekiah chapter 10 verse 12.....and watch how many start looking or going to the list in the front to find it......tragic and I have done this to prove a point!

I am really trying to wait until I catch up, but here I can’t be silent.

Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

The answer to this is be filled. Everything we need to live the life and godliness is already within us by the Holy Spirit. I just learned a new term that is helping me to understand this better....”lean into Him”. It may not be for you, but it may help someone else. The Lord is personal with us all but the end of a lesson should bear the same results.

We have love, joy, peace, righteousness in Him. He is a gift, and He keeps on giving.
Hi Stones,

God bless you :)

OSAS is not a correct gospel, it is nothing near truth.
I have to disagree. ASBT - always saved from the beginning of time is biblical.

Love, righteousness and sin is our battle field.
Jesus delivers our hearts to walk in His ways through the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Our testimony is Jesus has delivered us, transformed us so we can walk the walk.
If believers find love from their hearts, the word of God being a light to their souls,
Amen, welcome brother and sister in Christ.

The enemy will always try and divide us, pit one against another when all along we were
parts of the same flock following the same Lord.

The real question is if people can stop using simple judgemental and rude phrases and
spend time getting to know one another, one might discover the Lord has brought all to
His table, Amen.

Belief in Christ is the most natural thing possible

The churches are emptying, the bibles are open, in every language and with commentaries,
teachers, the Lord is willing and waiting but few are coming.

12 All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one."
13 "Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips."
14 "Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness."
Rom 3

The harvest is not plentiful and the people are not listening.
So how is the score going on coming to Christ and following Him is natural.
Zero score.

You have need for God’s grace?
Weeping and gnashing of teeth is your eternal destiny. I reiterate; I pity you.
This has to be one of the most brutal comments made from a believer to another believer based
on their sense of security in Jesus.
Do you want churches empty, people not trusting or going to seek help from believers because
believers have a real sense of love and care, or rather the ability to condemn others of some
doctrinal perspectives.

It reminds me of a church goer who knew a homosexual man who had aides.
A believer went up to him and declared he was dying because of Gods judgement on His sin.
It was actually true, but maybe not appropriate in that way, but here is another version of
the same approach. This always makes one wonder who knows the meaning of care love and
appropriateness. Obviously not enough.

What is so sad, is God is the judge not us, and we can only share His will and way.
We cannot condemn people or declare specifically where they will end up, just what Gods
word reveals. Once we make this personal we have passed over from messenger to userper
of Gods position. Unbelievably sad and wrong.

3 When wickedness comes, so does contempt, and with shame comes disgrace.
Prov 18

16 Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love.
17 Let me not be put to shame, O LORD, for I have cried out to you; but let the wicked be put to shame and lie silent in the grave.
18 Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous.
19 How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you.
Psalm 31

6 They return at evening, snarling like dogs, and prowl about the city.
7 See what they spew from their mouths- they spew out swords from their lips, and they say, "Who can hear us?"
8 But you, O LORD, laugh at them; you scoff at all those nations.
Psalm 59

Rom 5:9Therefore, since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from wrath through Him! 10For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!
HERE IS THE WRATH WE WILL BE SAVED FROM THROUGH HIM. Something HE prophesied WILL HAPPEN in the Future.

Revelation 6:12-17 (HCSB)
12 Then I saw Him open the sixth seal. A violent earthquake occurred; the sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair; the entire moon became like blood;
13 the stars of heaven fell to the earth as a fig tree drops its unripe figs when shaken by a high wind;
14 the sky separated like a scroll being rolled up; and every mountain and island was moved from its place.
15 Then the kings of the earth, the nobles, the military commanders, the rich, the powerful, and every slave and free person hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
16 And they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,
17 because the great day of Their wrath has come! And who is able to stand?”

COFFEE TIME ! ! ! ! !
Great diagrams.
So someone comes to Christ, appears like a Christ directed life, and then turns out to live
a self directed life, what are they? And who is judge?

Imagine a church full of people who live a life 100% self directed life, but nod to the Jesus
occasionally, what are they?

Some want to say a church full of self directed people is what Jesus desired and to suggest
otherwise is satan talking because no one can live a christ directed life that is just self righteousness
and delusion.

I do wonder how the enemy has come to dominate so many minds and hide the truth of the gospel
of love working through our hearts to make us into the image of Christ is not the gospel, but one of
sinful living and unbelief in the road of transformation. But then if the truth is not preached or taught,
and people do not read their bibles, little wonder such ideas prosper. God bless you

It hurt me to see that. Air literally left my lungs when seeing that thumbs down. By the grace of God, beloved. By the grace of God.
What you deem within yourself as love, I see quite clearly as contempt. If I am wrong about this, others will let me know, as will God through prayer.
There is a heart here, except it is bound to Jesus who accepts them, as they are, and they can do and be
whatever they want, and express and condemn whoever they see fit, in whatever way that comes to mind.

So sarcasm, ridicule, calling people satan, attempting to pursue and trap another, carries no problems
or danger or declares an arrogance and standing beyond any we have in Christ.

And finally my love in Jesus, my heart, my life, my song to the Lord, my spirit, that which stirs deep within
me, that lifts me to the heights of heaven, than humbly enquires, listens, carefully considers, seeks not
to overstate or understate, to be sure, to know, to define, to care, to empathise, to be unto others as
I would like them to be unto me, is just "contempt".

And a wise brother agrees with them.

The joke is this is done as if it is the judgement of God, correct, a word of knowledge, like a lid has been
lifted. Yet this is just searching for why someone could love Jesus from the bottom their heart and not
agree with someone, about a fundamental realisation, God is our judge, we are called to follow.

Could they be wrong? Could this conviction of acceptance be right, but its consequences and way of
working out be actually different in Christ? The answer is yes. Paul the apostle as Saul was happy
to persecute the church, even see them killed because he knew God and righteousness was right,
and these believers were wrong. Until one day Jesus stopped him. We are called to follow.

God bless you

Please lay out the plan of salvation that you once believed and have now abandoned.... stating "OSAS" is not enough information to support the credibilty of your initial statement.
Hi UnderGrace,

Thank you for going through your testimony, in part.
It sounds like you never had a conviction of sin and your debt to Jesus, you just wanted salvation.
And you changed your mind, so now you have salvation.

This does not sound like a christian conversion experience at all, or anything most believers would
recognise. We have something developed many years ago called the 4 spiritual laws.

1. God loves you and created you to know Him personally.
2. Man is sinful and separated from God, so we cannot know Him personally or experience His love.
3.Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through Him alone we can know God personally and experience God's love.
4. We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know God personally and experience His love.

http://www.4laws.com/laws/englishkgp/default.htm

This is a basic outline of leading someone to Christ, which I have followed with folk over many years.
It is our walk in Jesus and our way as believers.

Now it is not for me to judge another, or even to know where they are, just to share what I know and how
the Lord has worked in my heart.

The great thing about this, is admitting our need for change, and knowing Jesus has the power to bring
this about. Praise the Lord.

So dear undergrace, I am always open, always loving, always willing to understand and empathise, but
my calling and obedience is to Jesus and His word, Amen.

Thank you Mr. FHS.

I knew your bad intentions all along ...so do not believe for one Milli-second you have outsmarted me.

Lordship salvation is behaviour modification salvation and not the Gospel.

Salvation is a gift and the new birth/birthed from above is necessary.

You reveal you deceptive ways once again. This is why I choose my friends wisely.
