Those pictures are not doing anything for me!!

Except maybe making me want to run and hide.
That is a great visual though to forewarn anyone who may see a spider and not realize the risk. You can lose body parts depending on where she bites.
We have a couple in our garage. Hubby kills them on sight. :(

Weird, but I cannot eat an animal I do not like........ if that makes any sense:unsure:

Racoon for dinner.... I think not... I rather eat a rabbit. But I do believe you that it probably tasted good.

I could never eat snake either, I hate them.

Oh my Grandma's Barbecued Racoon was VERY GOOD, so were her Mountain Oysters feeds, which she would serve once a month during the Summer. My favorite was Fricasseed Rabbit, tho.

Yes here Customers like them all too. But of course, it was a very small town, Country Bar, with a Beer Garden. Like I said the food was free, but she kept a tip jar near the stove and most people would tip for the food.

Back to the subject.

Some do the think that works, have to be part, of Salvation, which I think is error.

But as long as it does not rise to the LEVEL, "I HAVE EARNED SALVATION, YOU OWE ME LORD." Would that PERSON who is Less than that statement, STILL BE SAVED ?

In other words, Given HIM the full credit, and still thinking it is part of Salvation. I KNOW, it seems like a CONTRADICTION to me, too. I am asking, could that scenario, while it may not keep them out of heaven, as LONG AS THEIR COMMITMENT IS TRULY ON THE LORD. The error, is associating Works with Salvation, when in reality OBEDIENCE is clearly ASSOCIATED with OUR GODLY LOVE, which is described as coming from GOD, Rom. 5:5.

While I am convinced that it is ERROR, I think it can be covered in this statement:

Luke 12:9-10 (HCSB)
9 but whoever denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
10 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

So that verse 9 can be used to define what is blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
But is a person with Errors in his Doctrine, says regarding works, "Yes the blood of the Cross saved me, by I must do my part too.", truly SAVED ? ? ?

YES, I AGREE that is NOT THE TRUTH, as it is a FREE GIFT; and I think they are walking way to close to the line; BUT HAVE THEY CROSSED THE LINE, as stated it the first half of Verse 10 above ? ? ?

It may be that the person is saved but does not fully understand grace. There are plently of Christians who believe in Jesus and asked him to save them and yet feel like as if they have a part or have to maintain not necessarily earn it. It could be insecurity, lack of understanding of certain Scriptures, doubt and fear over eternal security , guilt over sins, feeling not good enough or need to know God's love, being taught a certain way about God or the Bible or even culture one grows up in may play a part. If someone still believes they need to keep themselves saved or maintain salvation, I don't think that makes them unsaved but they may believe they need to do their part or whatever reasons. I believe God is willing to work with and help that one come to a better understanding of what is true and of his character.

I have researched this quite a bit and my understanding that in their written work they do not make any clear statements about OSAS.

Yahoo agrees...:D

Best Answer: Possum is greasy, and depending on its diet may taste horrible. If it ate mostly human trash then the meat will have an unpleasant smell and you will know not to eat it. However if you live outside any city or Incorporated areas, and it ate mostly bugs and fruit and such, then its not so bad. I would definitely cook it with potatoes and carrots.
