Wow, I really am getting a headache now and I really do not get headaches ever.

This is just sad, sad, sad how people nullify the work of the cross.

:(:(:(

Lol, your understanding is the same as all these others here ! Believe and recieve!
Ha! Actually quite the opposite! :D I've stood against the 'name it & claim it', 'blab it & grab it', 'Simon says" salvation for nearly 2 decades now! My teaching has brought such heat against me by those who don't want to be held accountable for their unrepentant sins when they stand before Christ and His Elect in that Day.

You're welcome to see what has gotten me the banishment from 3 other "Christian" forums already, due to my supposed "works salvation" and anti-OSAS teaching.

Pressing on to Maturity

Or what has become my most controversial teaching to date -

On Psalm 32 (where I speak on the Elect, the Priesthood of God who will become Christ's "co-heirs")

Enjoy! :coffee::cool:

You actually are! You're just looking at "salvation" from another level.
Remember "the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe." (Jude 1:5)

In modern Christendom, many have been led to believe that "being saved" is the end; and we have now obtained all the promises of God and have heaven when we die. If that we even remotely true, then all the warnings of Paul, Peter, James, John, Jude, & especially the writer of Hebrews, written directly, and only, to "saved" people, would need not have been penned.

If we are to inherit the promises of God in Rev 2 & 3, we must overcome and walk worthy.

May each of us be found so doing today.
Peace!
Actually your looking at it wrong

he saved isreal from slavery to an enemy

thats not the same as being saved from the debt of my sin.

You want to earn salvation

here is what you must do, be perfect from the time your bronk until the time you die

if you can not do that, your cursed, the curse is death (spiritual)

die in that state, you will remain in that state, its a place called hell

How does the opposite of pisteou not mean unbelief but disobedience in the following verses?

Mark 9:23-24
23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Whilst you are at it can you define disobedience is as well please.
Or how About this

he who believes has life, he who does not believe shall not see life but the wrath of god abides in him.

I can tell you one thing we do not have to work to keep it.

Jesus has accomplished it all by His Work on the cross and it is Finished in Him.

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Romans 8 29-30
.

That is widely taught, in spite of Scripture.

Glad you brought up Romans 8! I've done much in depth study and teaching on Romans 8, and in fact spent 6 months teaching at our church on that single chapter alone. :)

Looking at each of the terms above, even briefly, we find that there is so much more to our Journey than most have been 'taught' in the assemblies today.
For any who might be curious - Romans 8:29-30 (Study)

God's wisdom and understanding to all.

Amen. See we DO agree. :)

We've been "saved" by what Jesus alone did.

NOW.... what are we doing with that "salvation"?

Indeed if we "walk worthy", remain "faithful", "overcome", and "endure til the end". we will inherit the promises of God in Rev 2 & 3.

May we be among those who do not "neglect so great a salvation", and "shrink back", lest we forfeit our inheritance.

Amen.
You can forfiet your rewards, but you cant forfeit your adoption.

you cant earn grace, thus you can never unearn it, else it is no longer grace,

Again, you're looking at modern English understanding.
I've heard some awful 'preaching' on "adoption" and "inheritance" that is completely contrary to the written Word.
I must stick with what the Bible declares.

Heck, even Paul knew he could be "disqualified" if he didn't "walk worthy" of his calling.

Wrong again....

The "endure faithful" is not to gain spiritual/eternal life/salvation

Justified means saved, declared righteous there is no work we do to add to that standing nor is there any work that can undo it.

You again misunderstand Phil 3:12 which is not about gaining eternal life

For Paul knew even that his predestination, calling and justification were not the end. But he needed to stay the course, fight the good fight and endure faithful til the end, to be raised to that First Resurrection of the saints who will be glorified with Christ.

Jesus died on the cross to save us from eternal hell

he did not die so we can add to his work and with both being put together we may get to heaven

he said it is finished, not, I did my,part now you do yours,
.
Another great misunderstanding is what our Eternal destiny is.

And as a disciple of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, this is my Hope. :D

The 'heaven & hell' thing is relatively new. The Bible doesn't teach that.

Now, there IS a GOAL to which the Elect have been called. And it, as Paul clearly states, we must "attain to ."

Yep disqualified from being an apostle and leading people to christ

not from getting to heaven

paul knew he could never be good enough to ever earn salvation

you do not understand paul very well

you more resemble the judaisers paul spent his lifetime trying to fight because they were trying to add works to grace,

It is not a lie. These people are attempting to save their corruptible body while being Heretics; most of these people will get their wish.
I know of no one tried to save their body At least not in any christian church i ever attended

we have come to god and he saved our souls

Wow, what cult did you come from?

paul, said to be absent from the body was to be present with the lord

he could not make this claim if his future was not already determined
