Deists believe in Deism, a position that God, who is without beginning or end, created the world, set it in motion, but is not involved in the world.
Deists like to say that their religion is natural, not revealed. In other words, they derive their beliefs of morality, God, truth, purpose, etc., not through any direct revelation of God, i.e., the Bible, but through observation of nature and their use of reason. This would negate the idea of the Bible being inspired of God and it would certainly deny the incarnation, death, burial, and resurrection of God in the person of Jesus. (co CARM)
