I believe it is more about trust. God is much more powerful than man. I believe most Christians will acknowledge that. The blessedness of trusting God is repeated time and again in the Bible and I wonder if some of the reason may be because many people struggle to trust God and trust in man or themselves more than the Lord.
We trust in His perfect plan of salvation that He accomplished for us who believe.

The plan is Perfect because Jesus (the Second Adam) did not fail.

Romans 5:17

17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

The slanders keep slandering knowing not what they say.because they refuse to sit and listen. They listen to what they were taught, and not to what people actually say

and they wonder why their words fall on deaf ears.
Exactly..........funny how the religiously inept lost men accused Paul of the same things they accuse us of today......

no, but you do everything to try to KEEP salvation and not lose it

your like the Galatians, thinking you began in the spirit, but must perfect in the flesh.yes you may not follow parts of the law to keep your salvation, but you still work hard to not lose your salvation, and condemn people who trust god who has perfected them and IS sanctifying them, inspite of their weaknesses and loving sin.

you may fool some, but most will not be fooled by what you really teach
Amen to that....sounds just like a few previous members that were axed....same drivel

see, it’s your power not gods, its you doing this, not god doing this.

when will you admit this?

boy you have lied to yourself.

no, the gate is narrow, you must enter the gate.

once have Entered (led by Christ) your in, sealed by the spirit

as the author of hebrews says

he has perfected forever those he is sanctifying

godperected me forever, that’s called justification, that can not be broken, because god did it,I can never earn it

once again, John said those who left the church as unbelievers were never saved,if they were truly saved, they never would have left 1 John 2.

you need to stop thinking you are not trying to earn your salvation.
it’s the work of god we believe, not our work.
Gotta love the farce of...I am keeping myself in the faith....false as can be!

I am not comprehending how one can be sad that salvation is secure from the moment were are born again in Him.
At the end of the day, one that believes it can be lost or must be maintained has not trusted Christ by faith, regardless of what they claim!

DO YOU UNDERSTAND that SALVATION and Justification has NOTHING to do with US, it is a FREE GIFT FROM GOD, and part of that FREE GIFT is FAITH ? ? ?

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.
No, he/she does not understand that......

Jesus himself said blaspheme of the Holy Spirit out sins the cross.
Calling the Holy Spirit who testifies about the Son a liar by not believing in what he says is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. The blood of Christ does not cover that. Going back to unbelief, like the Galatians were doing, is not covered by the blood of Jesus.
This reeks of ignorance and a complete lack of understanding....unbelief into the work of Christ is what blaspheming the Spirit boils down to...geesh.....shakes head at the ignorance of some

I do not argue on behalf of the false theologians who brought the once saved always saved doctrine into the church that the early church fathers, before the official Catholic Church, did not teach or believe.
Wow....you sound just like Fran....the bible teaches eternal security....not your dime store salvation that can be lost or forfeit.....you will pay for your insolence and the way you degrade Christ, his power, promises and work on the behalf of humanity!

That is right. They could not go out from the covering of the blood on the door jambs. If they did they would not be protected from the destroying angel. Likewise, when a person leaves the household where the covering of the blood is in unbelief, they will not be protected and passed over but will be destroyed.
More ignorance in this post and conflating two different covenants...

Friends...do not buy this dime store drivel peddled by one that has no real faith in Jesus as evidenced by what he/she posts

And since this hasn't been brought up, and for those who believe we can lose our Salvation that was no thing deserved by us, nor accomplished by us, remember the Apostle Peter who denied Christ , as Christ said he would, three times before the cock crowed and prior to Jesus being crucified.
Did Peter lose his Salvation?
Watch someone say, no because Peter wasn't saved!
No, he did not lose his Salvation. That teaching was for us also. Jesus forgave Peter.
The bible is clear....Even if we BELIEVE NOT (after faith written to believers and includes the apostle bybuse of WE) HE ABIDES FAITHFUL BECAUSE HE CANNOT DENY HIMSELF.

salvation losers cannit grasp this truth...it is his faith, his work, his power, his justification and a genuine believer has been placed into a POSITIONING OF GRACE....Where sin ABOUNDS, GRACE ABOUNDS THE MORE....

If salvation is based upon us maintaining it...everyone will cook!

Peter would be among the damned to this day if he had not come back to Christ. And one day we will find out if the Galatians heeded Paul's warning to come back to Christ or if they refused his warning and were eventually turned over to their unbelief and lost and locked out from the chance to believe again.
This post is false and straight from the pits of hell!

Praise God this is not true...... and I am so blessed to have been given the correct biblical instruction on the gift of eternal life when I was born again at the age of 21... I say a prayer of thanks for that man/teacher everyday.

Eternal life is eternal and we cannot out sin the cross.

I almost was led astray for a few months, by the false prophet Kenneth Copeland, when I was first Saved. THANK GOD, he let me see through that phoniness. Ever since then, I have been discipled by some of the best Bible teachers in the land.

Not even considering the Pastors that I sat under their teaching, I have to give the credit to these men that taught me through the Radio and TV Ministries:

Dr. John MacArthur, Jr. - http://www.gty.org/ sermons dating back to the early 70s - free to listen to.
Dr. Adrian Rogers - http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/love-worth-finding/
Dr. Charles Stanley - http://www.intouch.org/
Dr. Richard Lee - http://www.firstredeemer.org/
Dr. Zola Levitt - http://www.levitt.tv/media/watch/118 - some free - videos
Dr. Ed Young - http://www.winningwalk.org/t-bio.aspx
Dr. Gil Rugh - http://www.ihcc.org/ - free sermons dating back to the late 70s - free
Dr. Chuck Swindoll - http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/insight-for-living/
Dr. Walter Martin - https://www.blueletterbible.org/audio_video/martin_walter/
Dr. Ben Haden - http://changedlives.org/WHY
Dr. J. Dwight Pentecost - http://www.dts.edu/read/dr-dwight-pentecost-dies-age-99/

Therefore, I am so thankful for GOD leading me to listen to those Bible Teachers.

Justification is gained by trusting in Jesus for the forgiveness of sin, and it is kept by continuing to trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of sin. You can't stop trusting in Jesus for justification and still have the benefit of Jesus in justification. So, are you saying this argument makes trusting in Jesus a works gospel? If so, giving us the verse that says that will be helpful to your case.
False....given by faith and imputed without any effort on our part....you really have no understanding of the truth!

Galatians says God knew them.

Galatians 4:9 KJV
"now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God"

They are true believers, being known by God, not fake believers to whom Christ will say, "I never knew you" to. Yet these true believers fell away in unbelief from justification in Christ to justification by the law. Which Calvinism says is impossible for true believers to do. Obviously, Calvin was wrong about that. His is a later doctrine brought into the church that the early church fathers, before the Catholic Church, did not believe and did not teach.

Like I said I was caught up into the False Prophet Kenneth Copeland for about 2 or 3 months in my life, but I Repented and turned back to the true Teachers, REMEMBER PAUL WARNED:

Philippians 3:17-20 (HCSB)
17 Join in imitating me, brothers, and observe those who live according to the example you have in us.
18 For I have often told you, and now say again with tears, that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.
19 Their end is destruction; their god is their stomach; their glory is in their shame. They are focused on earthly things,
20 but our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 20:28-32 (HCSB)
28 Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock that the Holy Spirit has appointed you to as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.
29 I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 And men will rise up from your own number with deviant doctrines to lure the disciples into following them.
31 Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning each one of you with tears.
32 “And now I commit you to God and to the message of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all who are sanctified.

So apparently you did not head the WARNING. The Galatians that DID are KNOW BY HIM.

You do not come through the NARROW GATE IN GROUPS. The Holy Spirit Ushered us though individually.

I am not sure what your first question is asking. Strive meaning to always do God's will and when we fail to do it, we pick ourselves back up and keep trying.

Let us look at an example. A man has faith, goes to church every week, reads scripture, etc. The man knows the word of God, the man is aware of God's will. The man encounters a homeless man begging, someone seeking a donation, volunteering of time, etc.(any work or Christian action) yet the man fails to act. The man is greedy and keeps his money for himself, etc. He is too busy to help someone because he has to go watch football, etc. Now we all fall short in doing God's will, there is no disputing that. However, if we willingly in our heart refuse to "live" like a Christian(works) then we have a problem.
Refer back to John 14:15
If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

There is not one of us who judge another here on earth, like I said earlier it is not the quantity or quality of our works that saves us. But if one says they have faith but there is no action, the question becomes, do they? So if one has faith, they have works.
2 Timothy 1:9
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

Romans 9:16
So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.

1 Peter 2:25
Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.

Those who believe we can lose our Salvation when the LORD our God is the guardian of our souls , can you explain who is more powerful to do such a thing ?
...xox...
1 Peter 1:3-5 (HCSB)
3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
5 You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

AND this Scripture, and they CHOOSE TO IGNORE IT.
