To set this straight and as I have pointed out in the VOLUME of this thread the saved will include...

a. Non workers that have the wood, hay and stubble crispy fried, yet saved

b. Those that labor and have works of gold, silver and precious stones

c. Weak, unfaithful saved that bear little if any fruit

d. Very faithful that bear an abundance

e. Those faithful over a Few things and made ruler over much

f. Saved that sell out to sin and are cut loose for the destruction of the flesh

g. Saved that sin horrifically like David, chastened his whole life because of it yet saved

h. Those that lose faith and become faithless, yet saved because JESUS CANNOT deny himself!

The gift is irrevocable by God and he may whip the crap out of us, but does not cast us away, keeps us by his power and NOTHING can separate us from his love......!
Ok. I think I’ll trust God to keep that which I’ve committed to Him..,including my faith. 🙂

Faith is a gift as much as salvation is.

I fear a sort of "political correctness" has been accepted within church circles in an attempt to suppress truth.
They will accuse of "lack of love" .... very similar to the prevalent world view methinks too.
Bad day coming when Christians allow their speech to be censored by worldly standards.

Oh yes those that get triggered... "snowflakes" .... easily offended.
I fully agree.....Jesus, Paul, John, Elijah and others used sarcasm, pointed names, derrogatory statements to expose error, hypocrites, Pharisees and false gospels/teachers, but when we do it we are sinning or are not showing love or anti-Christian.....so called Chrisitanity is sickening....ecumenical crap, embracing error for the sake of so called love, easily offended with the truth, suppression of the truth because a snowflake may have their 1 feeling hurt......We have reached the same point Israel reached before being judged and decimated....

Don't preach unto us right things, but rather proclaim SMOOTH THINGS.....BLAH BLAH BLAH

Obviously....if not for grace no one makes the kingdom.....
Btw, my response was in regard to bullet point h of your post only. All who believe in eternal security accept the other bullet points. But elect losing faith is debatable. At least, losing it permenantly is debatable. I think they may lapse in faith temporarily but not permenantly.

Heb 3:6. And Heb 3:14

It is not debatable....if true then the bible contradicts itself....

JESUS begins finishes and COMPLETES the work of faith in us...

If it can be lost or forfeit the above is false and Jesus does not FINISH and COMPLETE it in us...and Jesus does INDEED lose some and does not KEEP US by his power....

1+1+1 does not equal -3 ......the bible does not contradict itself....and a losable salvation by any means, including losing faith, CONTRADICTS a plethora of scripture.

So then we agree. The elect do not lose their faith. Excellent. So we can put to rest the canard that some claimed that we believe that believers can stop believing. ( not speaking of temporary lapses which do occur, but speaking of permenant departure from the faith. The elect do not do so)

I hope the people who think we teach a believer can lose his faith read what Dcontroversal wrote in last paragraph. A Losable salvation by any means, including losing faith, contradicts scripture.

Canard refuted by DControversal. We do not teach what we are accused of teaching

No, you are not referring to the right verse. I am talking about this one below. I am asking you to comment line by line so that I can get an understanding of how you see it:

2 Peter 1
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control [d]perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither [e]barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Then You MISSED IT TOTALLY, because I WAS Giving You the REASON why the LORD HIMSELF, matures us. I Willing and Loving Gave Up control of my life TO HIM, about December 29 or 30, 1977. He has been in control ever sense then. Yes my sin nature raises it's ugly head once in awhile. BUT HE DOMINATES Control of my body. I willingly YIELD to HIS will. How do you think this Nebraska farm boy ended up, starting a prison ministry in Northern California. HE made all the decisions, and opened the doors, you don't understand. Prior to that, I was dead set against moving to California, because there are nothing but fruits and nuts out there, so WHO WOULD WANT TO MOVE THERE.

THEN, HE STARTED PUTTING IT ON MY HEART THAT HE WANTED ME IN CALIFORNIA. I finally came to the realization, it was a losing proposition, to tell HIM, "Their Ain't No Way I am going moving there." I learned, you cannot tell HIM, NO, after YOU SURRENDERED TO HIM OUT OF LOVE. I willingly submitted, totally to HIM, and learned to say, "Wherever you want me, I will GO WILLING, and whatever you want me to DO THERE, I will DO WITH YOUR HELP." NOT MY WILL, but THY WILL BE DONE." Guess what happened after that? I WAS HAPPIER THAN I HAVE EVER BEEN.

Why are you now avoiding the very specific scriptures I posted. Yes I know you post all these others. I am zoning on what 2 Peter 1v5-11 specifically means to you. It won't take too long to respond. I hope this is not another to-and-fro avoidance. That would be dissappointing.
I GAVE YOU AN HONEST RESPONSE, and you have NO UNDERSTANDING.

He is just playing games... cannot give a straight answer.
I openly deny that The Word is that deity but in fact The only begotten Son and anointed of that Deity of who you claim is your God.

1Jn 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

He is the Son of God. The one who sent him and will he does is God. why can that not be a satisfactory answer? Below are supporting verses.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Joh 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

Joh 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

Joh 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Joh 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
Joh 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

Joh 13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;
I think you are emphasising Christ's humanity over His deity.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE HOLY TRINITY, Three Personages that are Co-equally GOD HIMSELF?
Commandments of God such as Deuteronomy 6:4 does not conform to doctrines and creeds such as the trinitarian creed or doctrine
that claims that God is a number in a number type substance or person such as one in three persons/ substances or three in one persons / substances.

Tell the Council of Nicea or whoever that, that doctrine did not come from MT Sinai on any tablets

Beginning of Creation of God precedes man, He took on the flesh of man to do the will of The Father. Many accounts of him in the new testament are when he was in flesh but I am aware the he is the image of the invisible God and firstborn of every creature that declared him

So then
you believe that the Son of God is a created being?

You know we are not talking about the Trinity so stop confusing the issue.
