Sinning brings destruction to us in this world. Sinning distorts our view of God, others as well as ourselves. Sinning in all it's forms ( such as legalism, deceit, malice and slandering others in the body of Christ is no different then living a homosexual lifestyle ) is falling short of the glory/goodness of God which is sharing in His quality of life.

Sinning is just plain stupid when our minds are renewed to see the effects of it and that we are not under law anymore but under grace alone.

Knowing that we have complete forgiveness of sins because of Christ's blood will always draw us back to Him for life and true living when we have gone our own way.

Does this want to make us go and live in all the sin we want now as the carnal, humanistic mindset of some men say it means? No of course not - a thousand times NO! It makes us run to our Father in every situation to find mercy and grace.

This holds true for the prodigal son as well as the prodigal older judgmental brother. As it turns out they both did not know the true nature of the Father.

The Father in these last days is showing His beloved children the beauty of Christ's finished work in the knowledge of the complete forgiveness of sins and they are coming back to the Father. Let's have the Father meet them at our doors instead of the judgmental older brother.

There is a vast difference between a universal atonement where all are included in Christ's work on the cross and resurrection and universalism - where they say that all dogs go to heaven.

There is an abundance of scripture that shows the truth that all are included in Christ's work and yet people still need to believe to have Christ dwell in their hearts and receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness.

People need to believe in His name to receive the forgiveness of sins that is already done because of the blood of Jesus. Acts 10 and Acts 3 show this truth in the real gospel message as preached by Peter and Paul.

We have redemption through His blood - the forgiveness of sins. Eph. 1:7 and Col. 1:6

Salvation

Why do people run away from home? Because they think they can do better elsewhere.
When do they realise they were wrong? When they end up in a far worse place than before.
What might put people off going somewhere? They are fearful of the welcome they will receive.

The whole point of the Kingdom of God is it is different from this world and how it works.

If you want to persuade people to go to the Father, you will have to provide a means of
entry, and reason for entry and the power to achieve it.

The cross of Christ and righteousness are the two things God delivers.
The cross is Gods heart and forgiveness and righteousness is the road to salvation.

Truly open sinners who regret their sin, and desire a different world and a different
resolution are the ones who will seek a different way. And though they aspire to
something else they can never achieve it unless God changes them through the cross.

And there you have it. Find the way, walk in righteousness through the cross and
God will open His arms to you. That is the gospel and the good news. You need
to resolve your emotional burdens, your guilts, your hatreds, your unforgiveness,
your selfish desires and open up to the ways of Jesus.

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.
Rom 14:17-18

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
James 4:4

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Matt 5:8

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
2 Cor 7:1

so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.
Phil 2:15-16

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
Heb 9:14

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.
For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.
2 Peter 1:5-9

Here is Peter emphasising it is our past sins we have been cleansed from.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

You are my friends if you do what I command.
John 15:14

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
Rom 1:16

He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
2 Thess 1:8

Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him
Heb 5:8-9

But if anyone obeys his word, love for God[a] is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

when you preach righteousness, Yet prove you are a sinner, yet deny it, or blameshift every time you are exposed,

Your preaching falls on deaf ears.

When you preach salvation is by anything other than the death and resurrection of Christ, (the cross) then you are preaching heresy and spreading damnation to whoever follows you.

Funny how one can post this verse, as if he knows what it means, yet deny it in the very gospel he preaches.

If John 3: 16 is real. whoever has faith in God HAS eternal life. His eternity is no longer in question, His fate is sealed (in christ)

whoever rejects this, their eternity is in question, and their fate is in their own hands, And it would be highly recommended that they repent, and receive John 3: 16

As John said, The knowledge that we already HAVE eternal life (not that we are working to get it as some preach) is the means and power we need to continue to believe in his name..

Man made religion is saying God has forgiven the world and sin is not relevant.
Man made religion is saying belief is everything and behaviour does not matter.
Man made religion is taking simple biblical words and inventing ones own interpretation.

Man made religion has no fear of God but creates a faith after its own dreams and
aspirations.

How lazy are the followers of this way? If they read the bible and just dwelt upon it
they would realise how empty and false is man made religion and following love and
Jesus is the road to salvation.

This whole construct is meaningless.
God is righteousness, holiness, purity, the one in whom we desire to dwell.
In this gospel our goal is to become righteous, pure and holy, because no sin is
allowed in His presence.

So it is denying the very thing you claim to want to aspire to.
It is like saying a mountain climber never climbs mountains, or a deep sea diver hates
water, or a pilot of airplanes is scared of flying.

And salvation is and has always been in the cross and Jesus.

But this is an attempt to make something into another faith and then reject it, constructing
a straw man and then destroying it. It is just meaningless and empty.

But you hate so deeply righteousness and those who talk about it, you will invent anything
to try and defame them. But in the end you just drive it to greater exploits and clearer
definition, shinning the light on the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of this world.

So shine on my friend, do your worst, for in this God will get the glory, Amen, Praise the Lord.

How people can claim to be bible believers who study it deeply, and totally miss that the OT The of Christ was that all sin was forgiven solely on the fact an innocent was slaughtered in the sinners place (Atonement and redemption) and that justification can only come through that sacrifice, as the subsititutionary atonement was made, is totally beyond me.

Then again, the Pharisee saw Jesus raise a man from the dead, and instead of praising him as God, had him crucified. So I guess reading and grasping are proven to be two different things

One small point each sin had its own marked sacrifice for it.
It was not just one sin and all was ok.

when anyone becomes aware that they are guilty in any of these matters, they must confess in what way they have sinned
Lev 5:5

The Lord said to Moses, 6 “Say to the Israelites: ‘Any man or woman who wrongs another in any way and so is unfaithful to the Lord is guilty 7 and must confess the sin they have committed. They must make full restitution for the wrong they have done, add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the person they have wronged.
Num 5:5-7

People lie so easily about God and miss-represent Him.
Now miss-representing a human is sin, but miss-representing God is foolish, especially
if you believe He is the creator God who shows no partiality.

This is why I do wonder at the claims of knowledge and insight people have. Are they
really speaking by the Holy Spirit when they sin so badly?

This whole construct is meaningless.

Of course it is meaningless to you. You refuse to repent and acknowlegde your sins. So in reality, it is meaningless.

But for the rest of the people who may ready your stuff. it it not meaningless.

So feel free to continue to ignore reality. and try to blame everyone else for your sins.

Man made religion says behavior matters, It denies that unless we are perfect from birth, we have already failed to meet Gods standard

Man made religion states that after we are saved by grace, we are perfected by works. and a lack of work will cause you to lose salvation

Man made religion focuses on self, it may mention the cross in passing, or talk about it, but the real focus in on self and how holy and righteous one thinks he or she is

man made religion denies eternal security, it pplaces security again on self. how well you do. and not on God and what God already accomplished

Gods religion says we all have sinned and fall short. That if we claim we have no sin we are decieved, that we are saved because God loves us, and gave his only begotten son for us.

Gods religion says he who begun a work will complete it until the day of Christ. (end of story concerning salvation)

My God Peter what world do you live in?

The high priest went in once a year to make atonement for the sin of the people for the last year. At that time (the day of atonement, all sin of all people were erased and forgiven by God, and they started fresh.

That is what CHrist did on that very day, they very day the high priest entered the holy of holies, Christ died on the cross. the veil was torn in two. and the annual sacrifice of atonement was done away with.

This is what Hebrews mean when he said year after year the high priest continues to make the same sacrifice which can never take away sin, but he gave his life once, and forever sits next to God making intercession for his children.

How can you claim to be a teacher of men when you do not even understand yourself?

1. no one hates you peter.

2. you are NOT " deeply righteous "
Well gb9 you are not actually reading what I wrote.

"But you hate so deeply righteousness and those who talk about it"

In this sentence the hatred is deep not the righteousness.
And the way you guys twist things and turn things around with no respect to the
people involved or to the emotional impact, hatred is the only driver.

I have upset people by just asking about their faith, but you are happy to throw me into hell.
There was a time when that would have been devastating, but now I know and love you.

Put simply when emotions rise as demonstrated by the frustration and anger clear expressed,
tearing into people is no problem at all, and it makes it much easier if they are a demon or
listening to evil spirits, or hypocrites with hidden sin, or some unknown flaw. It gets way
harder if you cannot find anything.

I wonder if you can understand me and why I believe and know the Lord as I do. If you
seek after love and emotional reality, not as a legalist but as someone who needs to know
security in the eternal, you end up in a very different place than you hard nosed, pedantic
types.

And how pedantic can you get? If I say one phrase that could be miss-interpreted, you will
miss-interpret it, or lie, or try and say the hardest undermining things you can think up without
trying to sound too much like a slanderer, except quite a lot of times, that is exactly what it is.

Paul described himself like this

When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. We have become the scum of the earth, the garbage of the world—right up to this moment.
1 cor 4:12-13

Now I have not reached Pauls level of being picked on, but I am learning how to bless
and love others. So God bless you, and I truly wish the Lords love dwells close to your
heart in all that you do, Amen.

And please continue to do as your heart leads you, because everything works together
for good, and in the Lord you will find out where it all leads to.

EG - It seems you understand me, or claim to, and that I do not even understand myself?

I did not realise I was talking to such a wise and incitefull man. Can you tell me what I do
not understand and what you do, or is this just another put down, which is all it actually is.

Now Christ is the atoning sacrifice, but we are not free from confessing our sins, each one as
we are aware of it which is what your are implying we do not have to do.

You language is going down hill. "My God" I wonder how bad it can get?
And I live in the world but not of it. I would pray and hope in Christ you can do likewise.
But clearly you feel yourself an superior believer in need to rebuking me. But that is a joke
considering what you are condemning, Gods word, and denying, Gods word.

This must be your shock tactics, not exactly meaningful, but it does bring Gods word to the
light.

What I love about these verses is they show us how we are to confess our sins.
The temple is the shadow of our relationship with Christ, so as we received forgiveness
of sins through the sacrifices in the temple, while confessing specific sins, so should we
confess our specific sins to Christ, so we can specifically deal with them and change.

no Peter, I think you understand yourself well, and I did not talk about how well you understand yourself, but about how well you understand the word

so once again, we see you slandering someone with a false truth in an attempt to blame shift the truth.

go ahead preterm keep denying it, no sweat f my back, you just continue to make it easy to expose what is really going on.
