Salvation
.. a gift ... by grace through faith apart from works .....is accomplished by God in one moment in time.

Justified (in right standing) and Sanctified (set apart) in Jesus Christ.
Your wrong!

Even the Faith of Christ was fulfilled over His lifetime. Not at one moment.

That salvation is by grace through faith and is not by works (Ephesians 2:8,9) is not hard to understand. It’s just hard for works-salvationists to ACCEPT.
Yes they cannot "accept" because they know better than God.

So if "works" are defined by courage, effort, right decisions by you, why do you seek a pass on believing?? Believing takes courage, effort, a right decision! Believing probably takes more work in your understanding as surrender does.

Can't have it both ways mm!

God provides the faith to believe, we do the believing. That's really all anyone needs to know.
Think of it as God the Son cutting the covenant with God the Father. The promise there is that if Jesus had the faith to go all the way to the cross and die for the first Adam's descendants, God the Father would declare all those who believe in Jesus's death burial and resurrection as permanently justified.

Our part is just to believe in what Jesus has done.

Wow, didn't see that coming from you!

The Faith of Christ is where "Grace" came from. He bought the entire field with it.. we could die a thousand times and it wouldn't save a bar.

He did it all, but we need to follow. We follow with a continually surrendered life. There's no such thing as believing!

Good luck with that! Stay hydrated and keep your teeth in good shape!

Really, your a perfect example of our schools not teaching the most important part of life, how to listen!

So go and, how did you put it, trust that God will give you everything he promises! The Father gave His Son, His Son gave His life, any chance that you might be a giver and not a taker when the Spirit is put in you?
The Father gave His Son, His Son gave His life, so people who work can earn their salvation. That’s the crap you’re pushing. Ridiculous pistachio; simply ridiculous.

Why must it be they or them or us and we? Is Christ divided? Does any other blood cover our sins ?
This thread is a stain on what God is.......love!

Warning: This is a fly by remark. Will get no response!
It is indeed a flyby remark, and a stupid one at that. Ba bye.

Jesus Christ is the narrow path, and everyone who puts their trust in Him for their salvation indeed has salvation. It’s that simple.
Sorry lightskinned brother, that would only be partly true towards the end of a true life of pisteuo. The problem is that true life of pisteuo could never begin that way, trusting in something that isn't yours yet.

Would you consider being persuaded if I begged you to do so?

we do not need to hear the same drivel and false embellished view of faith.....
So I guess that's a no to you trying a different tactic and humbling yourself before God and addressing this topic like an adult!

I would be persuaded if there was even the slightest remote chance of you being correct, but you are not.

I love you bro, I really do. I think your heart is in the right place when it comes to sincere love and caring for others, wanting everyone to be saved. The problem is you’re placing undue burden upon others because you are incorrect with your theology.

I speak for most everyone here when I say we want the best for you, and that means embracing the simplicity of God’s saving grace in Jesus Christ.
