Behold, the little insulter. I enjoy the blessing.
Not an insult, but rather a factual statement...you are a tap dancing joker that refuses to answer simple biblical questions by misdirection and tap dancing all around the issues while stating openly that you are the one that has no understanding of neither the bible and or the inspired words in the bible....what a joke!

No, the scripture quoted used the term 'perfect'; so gnash your teeth and foam at the mouth all you want about what you don't understand. You can't even say whether the LORD actually spoke to Job or not, so first try to get some knowledge of the content before talking about context.
You are obviously not that bright nor honest with the word of God.....Job was not sinless genius......!

Also, the idea that Salvation is a reward to win, instead of a free gift from God, is highly offensive to Him who who was silent when His Son sweat Blood in agony, Asking if there were ANY other way.
Nobody said salvation was the reward, except maybe those who claim it is a gift of God that they receive by believing. The reward which the gift of God is faith, however if you weren't saved before receiving the gift that God reward those who diligently seek him, then what hope do you have that your faith is going to save you?

It is soooo offensive my words cannot even begin to expressive!!!
Proverbs 17:28 says you are esteemed a man(male or female) of understanding. But I am not to sure about that one.

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Ps 119:165

You mean "free from sin" like the Pharisees thought they were "free from sin" though....
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:20

Yeah, but as written in John 4:22, "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews."

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matt 5:18

Yet his word will never pass away...

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matt 5:48

Maybe he said it because he knew the get for free bunch wouldn't accept it like when he told the rich ruler he told that if he sold all he had and give to the poor he would have treasure in heaven.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matt 6:33

Of course, for he who comes to God must believe he is, then where else would the kingdom of God be except where God was.

Spot on bro. Some of the arguments people use to justify their errors can easily be discredited with the inspired scriptures.

Not sure why people would rather trust in hole-y doctrine opposed to Holy doctrine.

But I have noticed many who reject the truth cling to a miss-use of individual words or out of context verses. (when they arent using strawmen and playing victim that is)

. . .

You seem to be confused about Salvation, and Rewards.

Salvation can be said that it happens the MOMENT Genuine Faith enters our Heart, but in reality it happened BEFORE TIME BEGAN, because JESUS KNOWS who are HIS Before Time Began, and is a GIFT OF LOVE FROM GOD.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

2 Timothy 2:19 (ESV)
19 But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.”

Now AFTER we are SAVED, our Deeds for GOD and the Brethren, can be worthy of rewards, but ONLY IF IT IS DONE OUT OF THE RIGHT MOTIVE, and that is AGAPE LOVE. That Reward are Imperishable Crowns. The original rewards given to Athletes were Perishable Crowns. But ours will be IMPERISHABLE CROWNS, perhaps even Gold.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (HCSB)
24 Don’t you know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win the prize.
25 Now everyone who competes exercises self-control in everything. However, they do it to receive a crown that will fade away, but we a crown that will never fade away.
26 Therefore I do not run like one who runs aimlessly or box like one beating the air.
27 Instead, I discipline my body and bring it under strict control, so that after preaching to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

1 Peter 5:4 (NKJV)
4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

THAT NEVER includes SALVATION, as it is a FREE GIFT OF GOD.

Hear are the types of Crowns you can win, IF YOUR MOTIVE IS PURE.

CROWN OF LIFE

CROWN OF JOY

CROWN OF GLORYING

CROWN OF HONOR

CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

CROWN OF THE VICTOR

In the Apocrypha, we find these additional CROWNS:

CROWN OF WISDOM

CROWN OF THE AGED

CROWN OF COMPETENCE

Whether it is just single crown that represents all those things, or Multiple Crowns for each event, like the Olympic games, it does not matter. BUT THE REALITY IS THE CROWNS are for Deeds done for the Motive of genuine AGAPE LOVE, AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN, which is SALVATION.

1)Christ's righteousness is greater than the Pharisees..... (Sufficient for the judgment of God)
2) being sufficient, Christ's righteousness fulfills the law. (why am I having to explain this?)
3) The entirety of the law is be perfect. Loving your neighbor (the context) is the second part of the summary. The impossibility of the law commanded IS WHAT DRIVES US TO CHRIST.
4) Aside from the obvious that seeking is not finding....:cautious: (it's depressing you don't know this) this verse is talking about worldly provisions, and not freaking out because you might not make it till tomorrow.... This is not about attaining perfection, but being comforted because provisions will come in our time of need.

I got news for you, the word PERFECT is way more, than not, a reference, to Spiritually Mature. Which you are NOT.

SO YOU SINCERELY THINK YOU ARE SINLESS ? ? ? I can prove you are not, and neither is JOB.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 (NKJV)
20 For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin.

1 Peter 2:13-17 (NKJV)
13 Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme,
14 or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men--
16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.
17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. {.That is President Donald Trump if you are an American.}

What is the FIRST ORDINANCE you can THINK OF ? ? ?

It does not get any plainer..........Our righteous works have ZERO to do with Salvation!

English Standard Version
he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

Berean Study Bible
He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

Berean Literal Bible
He saved us, not by works in righteousness that we did, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

New American Standard Bible
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

King James Bible
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
That's saying it's God's prerogative then?

Isn't holding faith and everything associated with it the mere definition of working to be right with God?

, , ,

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matt 5:48

. . .

KNOW TRY TO MAKE YOUR SUPPOSED SINLESSNESS FIT:

1 Peter 2:13-17 (NKJV)
13 Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme,
14 or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.

WRONG!

Salvation TOOK PLACE BEFORE TIME BEGAN.

AND ON THE CROSS.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Romans 5:8-11 (HCSB)
8 But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!
9 Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from wrath.
10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, ⌊then how⌋ much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by His life!
11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have now received this reconciliation through Him.

How many times have I explained this ? ? ?

It is not THAT we do righteousness, it is WHY we do those deeds, AFTER WE ARE SAVED THE MOMENT WE FIRST GENUINELY BELIEVE IN HIM as LORD, which means MASTER, OUT OF AGAPE LOVE FOR HIM. That is the SAME LOVE that HOLY SPIRIT POURED INTO OUT HEARTS, Rom. 5:5. The ONLY MOTIVE than is ACCEPTED BY GOD, is Godly Love for HIM and the Brethren. WITH OUT AGAPE LOVE ALL our works of righteousness are Wood, Hay, and Stubble at BEST, and at WORST, just FILTHY RAGS.

I am sorry LADIES, for this somewhat crude reality, BUT I MUST explain what the phrase Filthy Rags, literally what it is referring to. This is how worthless GOD says DEEDS, without AGAPE LOVE MOTIVATING THEM really are. The Bible Translation Teams never had the intestinal fortitude to TRANSLATE that phrase LITERALLY.

Isaiah 64:6 (KJV)
6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags {.ʿiddâ beged,};
and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

The phrase is literally: soiled mentral rags.

That is what GOD thinks of DEEDS without the Desired AGAPE LOVE MOTIVATING THEM.

In other words, If you do not HAVE the Spiritual Stamina to strive to AGAPE LOVE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART, ALL YOUR SOUL, ALL YOUR MIND, AND ALL YOUR STRENGTH, motivating the deed, whether FOR GOD or the BRETHREN, you are wasting your time. Sure we fall way short of that GOAL, but that is to be our GOAL for LOVING HIM.

How to I know GOD WANTS AGAPE LOVE, to be the DOMINATE MOTIVE FOR SERVING HIM ? ? ? HE SAID SO!

Deuteronomy 6:5 (HCSB)
5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Mark 12:30 (HCSB)
30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.

John 14:15 (HCSB)
15 If you love Me, you {STRIVE is the verb Tense, Gk. has 6 Primary Tense, 3 are not in English} will keep My commands.

1 John 5:3 (HCSB)
3 For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands. Now His commands are not a burden,

OH MY, it is not Part of SALVATION, it is Part of GODLY LOVE.

HEAR IS THE KIND OF LOVE HE PUT IN US:

Romans 5:5 (HCSB)
5 This hope will not disappoint ⌊us⌋, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

That Kind of Love HE SOWED INTO OUR HEART, will Certainly produce the same kind of LOVE in our Human Spirit.

You can work all you want,

you will never be right with God based on your works.

if the law did not show you this, I doubt anything will
