Sure .. how can that be when when you state that one is saved by belief alone.

And when you do mention "grace" it is "quid pro quo" with God.. completely foreign to scripture.

So my thinking is you do not.

Also in John 13:10-11, we read - Jesus said to him, “He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.” For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, “You are not all clean.”
Jesus Christ knew that Peter would be saved after fully grasping the resurrection:

Luke 22:32
[32] But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

On another note; Why would Jesus pray that Peter’s faith would not fail?

Meditate on that.

Nothing to meditate on.
Peter denied Jesus and he was saved and stayed saved

This in no way denies this.

It speaks to failure and return... the whole Bible is filled with human failure but then that does not jive with your works based I reach perfection message.

And the Lord Said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”

So I take it you won’t be attending any mass shooting ceremonies celebrating God’s grace.
According to the new osas doctrine, any believer could if they wanted to and they will stay safe and secure in Christ.

Peter denied Jesus and he was saved and stayed saved
Peter denied he knew Jesus.
He got scared for himself.
Peter NEVER denied Jesus as King and Messiah.
Peter never went back to unbelief.
But even if he had, just as long as he does not stay there if/when given the chance to reconsider he can be restored. But once a person is turned over without remedy to their choice to not believe they can not come back, even if they want to.

Why would Jesus not pray that any believers faith "not fail"

Meditate on that.

I state that one is saved by belief.....in God's forgiveness. Apart from the merit of righteous works.
Write that down so you don't forget what I say.

Hebrews 3:12-13

Out of context.. .. wrong

Failure to enter the land” is NOT the equivalent of failing to enter heaven or loosing salvation.
Good point especially when viewed in regards to Moses

(Num 20:12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them)

Moses being cut off is a picture and type of Jesus.
You know that, right?

Here's the context:

"14We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. 15As has just been said:

“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion.” c
16Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? 17And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? 18And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? 19So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief." - Hebrews 3:14-19

It's talking to Christians about staying in Christ.

Of course we are to stay in Christ .. no one is saying otherwise.

Loss of salvation not in view....only in your mind.
