LOL If you're changed, why do you need a license like OSAS to keep doing the things you did before you became a "Christian"? Could it be that there's no indwelling overcoming power of Christ upon which to draw? Hmmmmmmm................
Lol, who said I need a license?

i still wonder why you being so angry took a post which had multiple verses which proved god changes everyone born of him, and came back to say that person does not believe I change?

can you answer? or are you just proving your a liberal Troll trying to shut up all people who trust in Christ, not themselves

Whatever dude,

eternal life is eternal, you think it is conditional

you explain to god why the down payment he gave all believers will be lost because he did not keep up his side of the agreement
LOL The OC was the agreement between God and Israel that He would bless them if they would obey...they failed miserably.

The NC is the agreement that God will bless us if we obey.....with a slight change that brings about a massive improvement: that Jesus will enter the open door of our heart, accomplish obedience to God's law for us, then give us credit for what He has done.

That's why the New Covenant has God's Ten Commandments written on our heart...

Because you don't understand that "change" means "not as one used to be"!!!

You keep arguing essentially "the only thing salvation causes to change is God's opinion of my sin that remains". If you disagree, then declare right this moment that salvation is for me a state of surrender in which God convicts and empowers me to cease for all time deliberate known sin.

... which is exactly what you say- if you sin, then you are not truly saved, or in danger of losing salvation.

sometime i think you are just trolling..
Sometimes I demonstrate absurdity by being absurd because it's so effective in cutting through the many lines of cognitive defense constructed by those who have been seduced by false doctrine.

But, "trolling"? God hasn't given neither permission nor schedule for His workers to engage in such nonsense.

I am actually trying to prove a point you can’t live up to the standard of the law

i know you still sin, I could care less about that, I ask for your sake, not mine, because until you repent, i do not see much hope for you
How can anyone trust any conclusions you may draw when you contradict yourself? In the very same breath, you say you are not concerned with what others do, but you want to know what I'm doing...talk about a self-contradicting statement!

It doesn't matter if I keep the law as Jesus did or if I break them every single second of the day...what matters is what the BIBLE SAYS and that we accommodate ourselves to it instead of demanding God accommodate us.

so, you are saying that you don't do anything God does not give you permission to do?

the Bible says to believe in Jesus and you will be saved.

But is says that saving Faith is in your heart. Genuine Faith is NOT in your head, which is like the Demons believe.

Romans 10:10 (NJB)
10 It is by believing with the heart that you are justified, and by making the declaration with your lips that you are saved.

Unlike you, I don't think that salvation doesn't change me, just God's opinion of the sin remaining in me. I know salvation changes us so that we cease from habitual, known sin aka iniquity, so that we won't hear Jesus say to us, "Depart from Me, ye that work iniquity."

OSAS believers who argue that habitual, known sin has no affect on one's salvation, I think, are seduced by a deadly delusion from which they need to turn.
Your use of a double negative might be confusing because you are actually saying that you think that salvation does change you. Is that what you are saying?

what a joke

the passages I just post proved that I KNOW salvation will change me, and you twist that to say it won’t change me?

if you can’t be honest maybe you are just a troll
He is using a double negative which means that he is actually saying that he thinks salvation does change us. You guys are so busy bashing each other that you don't even realize that you are saying the same thing.

If works can take you out of it, works will take you into it.

The one who thinks that his own works is what makes the ultimate difference between salvation and damnation will always be preoccupied with looking unto his own self.

People who imagine themselves to be totally sinless are clueless.

see what I mean, you reject scripture,

the Ten Commandments are called the ministers of death written in stone for a reason, they will condemn you on judgment day unless you repent and come to Christ,

your to proud and far to angry yo profess you obey God and are worthy of anything but death, I just pray God shows you that before it’s too late

You have no concept of what I argue

you keep putting words in my mouth that are not true

you need to repent of you lies my friend, don’t come preaching obedience when almost every word out of your mouth is a lie

No, what he did was claim that I believe salvation does not change me, I did not read the rest of what he wrote, because his first sentence was a lie, and proved he did not read a word I said,

yu need to stop defending a person until you find out first what the argument is about

Some people like phony-777 here admits they are not sinless, they just think their sins are oopsie mistakes that happen on accident every now and then, they water down thenlaw to a point they can feel good, then point the finger, just like the jews did for centuries,

Satans greatest deception is to convince a person they are worthy by their own deeds, not made worthy by Christ

The OT saints are placed in Abraham's bosom because they belong to the nation Israel all the way to when they fell asleep, they were not cut off from the Covenant.
Hebrews 11 teaches that the OT Saints had faith. Members of Israel that had no faith did not please God.

that is your inference. For mine, I believe our true identity is our spirit, not our body.

So when Peter said David has not ascended to heaven, he was referring to his spirit.
But when it is said that Jesus ascended, His resurrected body went with His spirit, right?

A shallow sin concept is deadly, that's for very sure.
