I think that once you have received salvation (truly received it) that you are not able, by design to deny His existence. Ergo, no one truly saved will lose salvation :)

This would be a heart matter, you might scream at God in the midst of your struggles, but he knows our hearts.

Scripture teaches us that He will complete the work He started, that is a promise.

If that is the case if you lost your salvation, He wouldn't be able to fulfill that promise. Salvation is the start of that work.

If one rejects the Holy Spirit, one is not saved.
Quite correct.....

1 Cor 12.3

[SUP]3 [/SUP]Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed”; and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

logic of man , is simple, you still have faith to believe in living.
the small problem you have with, them who want to prolong life, is they use money.

if you take a pill to kill an illness, etc... you are guilt of murder.

so now define what a weed is. jesus christ, healed the sick with a voice.

take that up with the middle index fingers, and letters that were sealed by a candle mark as a sealers. \0/

SURE mate.....faith is the key for sure......believe it and apply it.....who here doubts that.....? NOT me.....thank GOD the entire LAW and Prophets can be summed up in LOVING GOD and your NEIGHBOR.......
Unfortunately the poster you responded to ultimate goal is to tell us that we are sinning and dis-obeying God because we don't observe the Sabbath rest or day as in from Friday night to Saturday as outlined in the Old Testament.

I and a number of others have been in discussion with him in the "Sabbath" thread.

Of course we know that Christ Himself is our true Sabbath rest and all in the Old testament was a shadow or a type of the real substance of things which is Christ Himself .

He has a website dedicated to saying that we that do not observe the Sabbath as in from Friday to Saturday and instead worship the Lord on Sunday - we are receiving the mark of the beast. He used to have the web address in his signature until someone told him he wasn't allowed to have the advertising being done.

People are free in Christ to observe any day as they like but when they say we are sinning and did-obeying God by not following like it was in the Old testament - that is a perversion of the gospel.

This is a very clear example of a Judaizing spirit that is come to nullify the grace of God from operating in our lives like it was meant to. Paul said that he didn't stand for this for even one hour so that the truth of the gospel would remain with the Galatians.

A more accurate question would be, why do some people pretend that they don't sin, when it's obvious that they do, and the bible proves it?
Why do some not understand righteousness is position and not personal performance.....The Bible proves we should SIN less and less the more we crucify the flesh...we will never be perfect, like Jesus was, but we SIN should not entangle us constantly...

We must grow spiritually as we do physically...

If we are born into sin or even surely sinful from conception (Psalm 51:5), then sin is more than not doing or believing what God asks us to do. It is our essence, our nature. We are sinful.

I want you to tell me please, if you have died with Him and been resurrected with Him?

All those scriptures come after this event. Have you seen? and believed? And been born from above?
The Words that I speak are not my words they are the Words of Him who sent me. If I was not sent of Him I would not speak His Words but because I know Him I speak the Words he gives me. If I was not born of God I would not know him.

God bless you

Here is what my simple (thanks Dcon, lol) mind comprehends about sin: Even after we are saved, we DO still SOMETIMES sin. Whether it's a nasty thought or word or gesture. We may not mean to do it, but it just pops out. That is what forgiveness is for. It's wonderful to be forgiven. :) If we become totally sinless after being saved, then why the need to stay on the straight and narrow path to keep us out of trouble? Why not just take whatever path we want, since we're now sinless?

Now, here is what my simple mind comprehends about righteousness: there are NONE righteous, not a single one. Those are the words of GOD. I didn't make them up or pluck them out of thin air. We CAN strive to do our absolute best, but as far as being perfectly righteous, well none of us are Jesus and HE is the ONLY one who is righteous. :) He also is the ONLY one who is absolutely perfect.
2 Cor 5.21 says we are made righteous and Romans 5.17 says that righteousness is a gift...

[SUP]21 [/SUP]He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

[SUP]17 [/SUP]For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

When you get saved God sees you righteous, because of what Jesus did for us....the old man dies with Christ, the new man is raised into newness of life....

Absolutely, this is what Jesus wants to change in us and is the New Covenant. Sin is in our nature and God wants to give us a new one (Eze 36:26-27; Jer 31:31-34; Heb 8:10-12; 10:16-17) Sin is the transgression of God's Law (1John 3:4)

Sin is defined in Roams 14.23, James 1.13-16 and James 4.17.....There are no sins of ignorance....Romans 1 says we are without excuse regarding our SIN....SIN is not a thought or action, unless choice is made....

Above all SIN is a CHOICE......

Good question stoneoffire,

It is the carnal (sinful) mind. This is where sin starts and what God wants to change in us (Heb 8:10-12)

God bless
The flesh is your body. The flesh responds to the law of Moses, The Spirit responds to the Law of the Spirit.

He does give a new one. When we receive the Holy Spirit we are a new creation.

Flesh is the creation God subjected to corruption... aging. deaying leading to death and the return to the lifeless spiritless dust from where it was formed of. It is the wage for doing the pleasure of another kind of spirit (the father of lies) will.God did not them to learn by experence .This showed they had no faith in God

Christ said of His own flesh it profits for nothing, nada ,zip .This is knowing God is not a man as us, never was, never could be. Eternal supernatural Spirit remains without beginging of days, without mother or father or end of Spirit life.

If God convicts you of sin it is between you and God but if you reject the Word of God His Word tells us there remains no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward of judgement to those the hold the truth in unrighteousness (sin). Sin is the transgression of God's Law (1John 3:4). Jesus wants to save us from it (Heb 8:10-12)

God bless you
