I CANNOT eat pork. I literally cant eat it. I feel like a wuss and a pharisee

Im just so used to not eating it and I just look at it like WHY are you eating that. I know that people can eat what they want in the new covenant and I will never tell anyone what to eat but I cant help my thoughts.
Im sorry :(

Once a judaizer always a judaizer i guess.

Everyone is unclean until he is cleansed by God. Jew and Gentile. The Jews religious tradition s rejected this Biblical fact. Men can change, men can repent and become cleansed, pigs are unclean and has no ability to make itself change. They were created unclean, and will remain that way as the Bible clearly prophesies. What God has cleansed. He cleanses men, not snakes, tape worms or pork.
That is your view, it is not what Peter was told.

That is the catholic view. But I'm not catholic. Their religious tradition of rejecting the Christ of the Bible doesn't make the rest of God's Word void. Peter was clear.

Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

It is the BIBLE. Not Catholicism! It was God speaking to Paul in a vision. So do what it says in the verse you quote and OBEY God. who said, "You must stop calling unclean what God has made clean." (Act 10:15 ISV)

Therefore do you also separate the clean beast from the unclean, and the clean fowl from the unclean: defile not your souls with beasts, or birds, or any things that move on the earth, and which I have shewn you to be unclean.

Now God saw all that he had made, and indeed, it was very good! (Gen 1:31)

Then the Jews came and said no, not true.

Then God came to the Jews and said, "You must stop calling unclean what God has made clean." (Act 10:15)

As the BIBLE teaches. God makes men which sinned and became unclean, clean.

Acts. 10:28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

I'm simply following what the scriptures say. I know mankind cherishes their lusts as it is written.

But nowhere in the entire Bible, front and back, is any indication that God made pork clean for food. This is your religios tradition, not instruction from the Word of God.

Does it matter? That's not the question. Did God make pork clean is the assumption you are making. According to the Bible He did not.

Just saying.

Two different subjects. Acts 10:1:9-16 is about food, and the second Acts 10:24-28 is about people namely Jew and Gentile.

God has made ALL things food and people clean in and through the Lord Jesus Christ. "What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common." Act 10:15

That is what the Pope says. I don't believe in the Pope. God has never reversed His creation of Holy and unholy, Clean and unclean.

That is what the vision is all about. "What God has cleansed". Even the Prophesies detail and warn about religious men rejecting God's definition of sin.

IS. 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

You can't find a single prophesy regarding the reversal of God's creation. Not one. Only man made religious traditions. The entire Chapter was about knowing the difference between what is clean, and what is unclean. If God cleansed something, it is clean. Jesus considered swine unclean all His life.

God didn't make BLOOD clean for food and He didn't make pork clean for food.

This is why I don't follow religious franchises. They believe they can take one sentence from God's Word, twist it, and use it to destroy the parts of the Bible that don't align with their religious traditions.

Jesus didn't do that.

What Peter wrote in the Acts of the Apostles is from God.
And yet, there is nothing from His Word to support your religious assertion that God made "ALL THINGS CLEAN". God didn't say that. Religious man does. God said in His Word to Peter not to call a man, whom He has forgiven, common or unclean. Not one mention that God made maggots, pork or tape worms or other creeping critters "clean" for food despite what you preach.

The Acts verse Constantine twisted to promote the murder of any Jew who wouldn't eat pork doesn't support your religion. It is used just as religious man has used God's Words to justify many of their lusts.

But you can find nowhere that the Word of God says Pork is changed from unclean for food, to clean for food. Just as you can't find the eating of Blood for food was changed. It is simply your religion which allows such. Nowhere in the Bible does it support your lusts in this regard.

You are free to show me a single prophesy in the Law and Prophets which foretell of the annulment of God creation of clean and unclean animals to support your religion in this matter. You are also free to post scriptures in the NT where God changed His creation of unclean to clean.

Acts 10 doesn't do that. The Pope does, many "Ministers or Righteousness" preach this. But it isn't in the Bible.

That is an option, or you can just provide scriptures which actually supports what you preach.

Of course no scriptures exist which show where God "made all things clean". So into the ignore list I go.

Shouldn't Jesus teaching come first and Paul and Peter align with Jesus teaching? I'm thinking of this verse...

Matthew 23:1-3. Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works:for they say, and do not.

Strongs 2515 kath-ed‘-rah
Greek from and the same as ; a bench (literally or figuratively):--seat. chair, a seat
    1. used of the exalted seat occupied by men of eminent rank or influence, as teachers and judges

I've heard a teaching that when a person sat in Moses seat could only read word for word the scriptures and could only give commentary when not in the seat.
