*******EDIT BY 1STILL WATERS ADMIN************
Actually this is not the proper way to deal with perceived threats.
The proper way is to report the post and let the admins/moderators deal with it.
Please don't create personal call out threads on the forums like this, it just creates more work and drama for us to deal with.

Thread closed.

How to deal with threats and false prophesying in God's name on CC Chat.

Last week I and an elderly woman had the following threats launched at us in the thread “Do Jews Have a Divine Right in the Promised Land? “
The threats and false prophecies came from a Kardiaoangelous and I have placed the post # after each quote in italics.
These threats not only attacked our persons and character but invoked God's name in doing so.
I had used the 'report post' button and gave a brief synopsis to alert some in post #91.

You are a stubborn mule. God is going to visit you shortly. And it will not be to say hello.
Enjoyed conversing with you while it was yet possible. (post 40)
You are a fool. And God is going to come to you shortly to end the reign of your lies. (post 43)

The same holds true for you. (Speaking to an elderly woman)

Neither of you obviously read your OT where it plainly says that he searches the earth for his meek to give them their reward the same as it says he searches to give the wicked the fruit of their ways.

Both of you are ministers of Satan masquerading as ministers of God. And god is soon going to stop you.(post 44)

Mark the word that came through me as you will not be joking about it then. (post 48)
The word of God says what I said:

2 Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

And that is coming to you in a very short number of days now. (post 51)

Kardio continued his rant against me e.g. post# 72 and was asked to apologize which he never did.(post 96)

How to handle false prophets...

But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.' And if you say in your heart, 'How may we know the word that the LORD has not spoken?'—when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.
(Deu 18:20-22)

So in the light of all the above and the obvious fact nothing evil has befallen me
or the other party, I would like to warn this forum that we have a proven false prophet in our midst.
If he wants to prolong his threat and say 'a few days could mean months' I would say, 'then do as the true prophets do and give a specific time or sign.' This generalized type of prophesying is a strategy often used by false prophets to keep from being proven false.

I am deadly serious about this matter and feel such 'prophesying' invoking God's name to threaten should never occur here on Christian Chat...so much so I am willing to be banned for writing this letter.

I don't see a problem with drawing others attention to this. It's unbiblical for that person to act that way and I for one appreciate the warning.

I'm also hoping that person was banned or at least warned.

I understand some toes were stepped on, but making a mockery of this man weather he is just, wrong, or indifferent. Is completely absurd in my mind. Yes you might not agree with his views. Yes you might not think this man was incorrect. But you are acting out of vengeance from my understanding. You arguments were in another thread... Keep them between yourselves, if you don't want to derail a thread p.m. each other were bravado doesn't take control of your thoughts...

If you think toes were only stepped on you don't understand this at all. Did you read the op? How could you get toes "stepped on" out of that? No one, regardless of their stand on Scripture, whether they are right or wrong, has the right to speak that way any of CC's people. He crossed the line. Something needs to be done.

That uncivilized behaviour was uncalled for. Just because you disagree with someone doesn’t mean you should be condescending and speak wickedly in God's name. He won't be here for too long with that sort of attitude. Sometimes this is necessary to foster peace: "Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease" (Prov 22:10).

that guy is out of line.
maybe you can get away with making threats on somebody's life if you say its God who said it lol.
i showed some of this stuff to my teacher, he said there's lots of people like that who think they have special knowledge and they want to have a following.
but those threats are messed up.
