NO one is arguing Christians do not sin, the issue is what do Christians do WHEN THEY SIN???

Do they:

1) repent of that sin seeking forgiveness from God

2) continue living in that sin without repenting and not getting forgiveness from God

Again, in Rom 6:16 Paul says one either 1)serves sin unto death or 2)obedience unto righteousness?

It's not me that is claiming the impenitent wicked, fornicators will be saved.

Your man made eternal security has you fighting against the bible in its clear teaching fornicators will be lost, 1 Cor 6:9.

You keep avoiding the fact I told you that I am not impenitent of my sins but repent of them, walking in the light, 1 Jn 1:7, unlike the man in 1 Cor 5 who was impenitent about his sin while continuing to live in it.
You keep failing to answer my questions in context........and last time I checked Jesus came to save sinners...not self righteous Pharisees who trust in their good works.....

1 Corinthians 6:9 - Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
:10 - Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
:11 - And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

People that are committing sin are going to hell. When we receive the Holy Ghost, we are washed, sanctified, and justified FROM our sins. Thing are what we USED to do. We don't do them anymore. If you continue to do them, you're going to hell. Plain and simple. Have you never read the scriptures?

1 John 3:5 - And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 - Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 - Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 - He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 - Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 - In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother

Lets put these verses in context. The "eth' on the end of words in the king james english means "to continue." That means people who continue sinning are of the devil, not of God, hath not seen God, and do not know God. Now scripture is calling you a liar because you are saying that people who continue in sin are still under the grace of God. You are doing exactly like Jude 1:4 says. You are turning the grace of God into lasciviousness.
By your standard, no one is ever going to make it to heaven.

Have you ever had sex outside of marriage, have you thought about sex outside marriage? If yes then you too are a fornicator...if no you are either lying, gay or not reached the age of puberty!

Sanctification is a process, just like salvation. You are neither fully santified or fully saved until you are standing on heaven's floor. Until then, you are in the process. You OSAS guys don't seem to get that.

By your standard, no one is ever going to make it to heaven.

Have to remember God is not looking for sinless perfection but a faithful obedience. A Christian that faithfully walks in the light as Christ is in the light whereby Christ's blood cleanse that Christians from ALL sin, 1 Jn 1:7. The wicked fornicator of 1 Cor 5 had quit walking in the light altogether whereby he no longer had his sins cleansed away by the blood of Christ.

What you fail to understand is that salvation is a ONCE FOR ALL ACT with PRESENT CONTINUING RESULTS.......which results in ETERNAL JUSTIFICATION and SANCTIFICATION of the SPIRIT as it is the SPIRIT THAT IS BORN od GOD, does not sin and is eternally secure in Christ and is bound in a BODY OF SIN THAT CONTINUALLY HAS SIN DWELLING IN IT<---this is what you guys who constantly lose your salvation cannot seem to grasp!

1 Jn 1:7 as long as the Christian CONTINUES to walk in the light, then Christ blood CONTINUES to wash away all sins.

If I quit walking in the light then NONE of my sins will be washed away.

My salvation is based upon both, what Christ did for me and my obedience to Christ, Heb 5:9

Christ died for every man, Heb 2:9 yet every man will not be saved for every man will not take advantage of what Christ did for him on His cross by obeying Christ.

1. Lied before...you are a liar
2. Had sex or thought about sex outside of marriage...YOU ARE A FORNICATOR

And you fail to see the comparative warning in the text in question......the call is to not live like LOST MEN who are DOING the particular SIN in question.......as EVERY DAY in the LORD'S churches there are SAVED people who have slipped and stumbled in their walk and yet ARE STILL SAVED.....

You can go on sinning, and as long as you repent your fine. Sounds awfull catholic and jewish to me (only they had to sacrifice and animal to excuse their sin.)

Your excusing your own sin, and judging someone who you have no right to judge, God did not come to judge, he came to save the lost. Why do you think you are better than God?

Take the plank out of your eye, before you try to take the speck out of someone elses eye. You can;t even see your own sinfulness..

You think your crap does not stink to God just because you claim you say your sorry, yet continue to do the same sins over and over (you know what sin I am talking about)

Stop thinking your so righteous. And get on your knees and call out on the name of Jesus who can free you from the penalty of sin, before its too late.

sanctification is a process.. which never ends until we are glorified.

If your not justified, there can be no amount of sanctification.

We are saved by being justified (declared righteous) not by being sanctified. One would have to be sinless if that was the case. and he still would be guilty of all his sin..
