Whether God the Father, Jesus or the Holy Spirit doing the baptism, it is strictly metaphysical.
Nothing you can point to, define or even prove.

In other words, your claim has no bearing in this discussion. No one can prove the metaphysical.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen

I do not need to prove it, I just trust God that when he said it happened. it did.

If your looking for something you can see (like water baptism) that is not of faith. it is of works.

right the only actual baptism established in scripture the one God established , the one Jesus partook of as an example for his followers , the one all his disciples and apostles partook of , there’s really only the one doctrine of baptism in the Bible then there’s what Jesus said he would do in giving us the spirit

I enjoyed the read

jesus baptism

“John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: and there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:9-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

after jesus rose

“and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:46-48‬ ‭

The first record of baptism after Jesus resurrection

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,

and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:38-41‬ ‭
First, foremost, have a sincere desire to be with God in his love and mercy of son given us by Son. So, yes go ahead and be water Baptized, to do it and do as told to do under Law. See how well you do. I did lousy, I could not get perfection through me. I was under Law under the curse. Yet that was good and is good for each person to see they can't do it either perfectly ever. on their own and even with God's help, that I know I asked for that. To this day I do not obey 100% being of the unredeemed flesh body I am in. Just being practical in reality.

I had to come to the end of the energy of my own flesh and see, what I need over everything else. Life and I could not get it by trying to obey the Law, even the best I thought of to be able to do it, fulfill it.
New Life to be given, requires perfection. And God is the one and only one perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I needed Life, God gives this free of charge. Eternity outside of time. God gives that us the people that believe God in this done work of Son for us all. No longer under Law to be aware of whether or not one sins again or not. That is what brings sin in us, and traps us, as did Saul under Law, revealed in Phil 3.

However, If salvation was by being Baptized, water Baptized, then John would have been the end of the Law
John the Baptist would be the Savior, yet John has not the way, the truth our the new life offered us through the risen Christ from Father to us y'all
Yet is anyone under Law I say continue to find out the truth personally for you

Hebrews 10:10-12

Authorized (King James) Version

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 but this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Galatians 6:7-9

Authorized (King James) Version

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

The command to be water baptized in the name of Jesus for remission of sin is not an OT command. Scripture reveals both water baptism in the name of Jesus for remission of sin, and being indwelt by the Holy Ghost are required to experience the NT rebirth. (John 3:5, Luke 24:47, Acts 2:38-41, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-7, 22:16)

John the Baptist introduced water baptism. However, invoking the name of Jesus during water baptism was later required as revealed on the Day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:38) Those living after Jesus' death, burial and resurrection are to repent and be water baptized in His name for remission of their sin. Jesus paid the penalty for all, but only those who act in obedient faith to God's NT commands take hold of what Jesus died to provide. In addition, those who do not spontaneously receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Ghost are told to pray and God will give the gift to those who ask. (Luke 11:13)

Isn't your last statement proof that water baptism doesn't save? Romans 8:9 says we aren't Christ's until we have the Spirit.

Notwithstanding, the manifestation or gift of the Spirit is not the same as the indwelling of the Spirit. By conflating the 2, you make works necessary for salvation, rather than the outcome of salvation. You have stood Ephesians 2:8-10 on its head.

You just made all this a law in your and other people you listen to, as the interpretation to have to don to get, Really?
Okay you do not have to live like a refugee, you want to be free, yet you live like a refugee. For God willingly died for thee (you) too on that cross of reconciliation to all people. To give new life to us that beleive and see they need new life of love and mercy too. to all
Thank you

Your words, in addition, therefore, pray, recieve and obey freely from god willingly, you think. thanks?

Obedient faith to God's command to repent and be water baptized in the name Jesus for remission of sin is a part of the rebirth process. The other is receiving the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:9) Scripture reveals both are necessary regardless in what order they occur.

How does one get the Holy Spirit to indwell them? What exactly is that mechanism?
And how is it that works of the law are necessary for justification when the Bible teaches that by works of the law no flesh will be justified...Galatians 2:16.

My point was obedience to the water baptism command does not, in and of itself, result in receiving the Holy Ghost. Nor, as Paul revealed, does the experience typically occur when a person initially believes in Jesus. (Acts 19)

Every detailed conversion account reveals believers in Jesus must repent, be water baptized in the name of Jesus for remission of sin AND receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Ghost as well. Not my words. These details are recorded in the word for all to see. (Acts 2:38-41, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-7, 22:16)

Obedient faith has nothing to do with the law. That error blinds so many people.

As to the indwelling, scripture reveals that takes place at God's discretion. Some received the Holy Spirit spontaneously, while others did so at the laying on of hands immediately after being water baptized. In the case of the Samaritans, they had hands laid upon them and received the Holy Ghost days after believing in Jesus, and being water baptized in His name.

Also, many believe in error that the Holy Spirit automatically takes up residence in a person at the moment they believe in Jesus. We know this is not true. Paul's question to the Ephesians reveals this, "Have you received the Holy Ghost/Spirit SINCE believing?" No need to ask that question if the experience automatically occurs at that point of belief. The Samaritan account proves it as well. They believed but did not receive the Holy Spirit until days later. Keep in mind that Jesus said the Father would give the Holy Spirit to those who ask in prayer indicating some must pursue the gift.

Obedience has everything to do with the law. You aren't obedient to faith. You are either obedient or disobedient to the law. You are so desperate to add obedience to faith you have forgotten why Jesus had to come and provide His righteousness.
No matter how much lipstick you smear on a works gospel, it's still a works gospel.

No lipstick necessary. Just obey the counsel of God:

"And being made perfect, he (Jesus) became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;" Heb 5:9

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
FOR THEREIN is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Romans 1:16:17

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? Romans 10:16

How does one obey the gospel?
"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

And THEY CONTINUED STEDFASTLY IN THE APOSTLE'S DOCTRINE..." Acts 2:36-42

No one said saved people aren't obedient; only that obedience doesn't save. Ephesians 2:8-9 precede Ephesians 2:10.
Anyway, you,and other modern day lawyers, will continue to promote a false works gospel. Thankfully there are plenty here who continue to refute it.
Grace and peace.

I got water Baptized, not for tone saved in connection with belief.
I did it between God and "I" as my conscience to God, between God and me. Thank you Father for me to choose freely to do it, Thank You, Thank you, Thank you

1 Corinthians 4:4
My conscience is clear, but even that isn’t final proof. It is the Lord himself who must examine me and decide.

I see you have a tender conscience on this subject at hand, you go then as you believe, yet please do not foist it on others as it seems you are doing, masking as if you are not making it Law I hope you are not doing that, God judges the consciences of the people, Motive is key, thanks

We can't earn our salvation (Jesus did that) but we can take hold of what Jesus did and have it applied to our life by faith:

"Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." Romans 6:3-6

Smearing lipstick on a works gospel is a good analogy and the shoe certainly fits. Works-salvationists do "add" obedience/works to faith for salvation because they are trusting in their works for salvation and not in Jesus Christ alone. I often hear works-salvationists (including Roman Catholics and Mormons) cite Hebrews 5:9 in their efforts to support salvation by works.

*Only believers have obeyed Him by choosing to believe the gospel (Romans 1:16) in order to become saved, and only believers obey Him after they have been saved through faith by practicing righteousness and not sin. (1 John 3:9,10) In either sense, only believers obey Him.

*Unbelievers have not obeyed Him by refusing to believe the gospel (Romans 10:16) and without faith it's impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6), so unbelievers do not obey Him no matter how much "so called" obedience that they attempt to conjure up through the flesh in a vain effort to receive salvation based on works. So, in either sense, unbelievers do not obey Him.

Romans 10:16 - But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” We obey the gospel by choosing to believe the gospel (Romans 1:16) by trusting in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation. (Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

Works-salvationists who obsess over water baptism would walk around mountains of grace in order to find water. :(

Being baptized into Christ is a spiritual act that the Spirit does...1 Corinthians 12:13. It isn't speaking of water baptism, and men can't do it. Because you misunderstand this verse, you believe man must appropriate his own salvation. But man can only work out what God works in...Philippians 2:12-13.

truth, thank you, yet this is not water Baptism, it is the symbol of Spirit Baptism, as John was clear, when he said
'I" must decrease, He, Jesus the Messiah, will increase
John's only Job was to Water Baptize Jesus and all to see the Messiah had arrived. John's job done once this got announced
Time to move on to maturity, if god will permit this for you and others too.

Okay, you go, am I, saved in your thought(s) according to you, am I saved by your Church teachings?
Just asking not fighting.
I have not gotten water Baptized in your Church affiliation. Can I ask what affiliation are you of, which Church belief are you following?
God has Baptized me in God's risen Son for me
Thanks
