Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand.

Daniel 9:27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate

Daniel 11:31And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily [sacrifice], and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Daniel 12:11And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Follow the bread crumbs.

Jesus said When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place,

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world.

So lets Follow Jesus’s bread crumbs to the book of Daniel and see the abomination of desolation that Jesus spoke about.

he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate
there it is right in the middle of the week the ( 7years)

How do we know a week is 7 years, this verse
Genesis 29:27 Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.

Right in the middle of the week the Great tribulation will begin 3 ½ years.

Conformed with this.
Rv11 the two witnesses shall prophesy for 3 ½ years.

Rv12 the woman fled into the wilderness from the face of the serpent for 3 ½ years.

Rv 13 the beast had power to continue for 3 ½ years.

Before the middle of the week the first 3 ½ Jesus calls it the beginning of sorrow .

false prophets, wars, famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, betrayal, and persecution of the church. the beginning of sorrow Jesus called it.

Revelation 11:3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Revelation 12:14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Revelation 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months.

Dear peter,
The truth is the Seventieth Week of Daniel was completed between 27 AD 3 1/2 years to Christ's death and Resurrection in 30 AD, and 3 1/2 years until 34 AD, the Gospel is taken to all nations, and to Israel, and the nations received Christ, but the Jewish nation as a whole rejects Christ. The few Jews who accept Christ become the heart of the Apostles, and then the rest of the Apostolic community becomes Gentile. Only in years to come Romans 11, will a remnant of the Jews believe in Christ. There have always been a minority of Jews who believe Christ is God.
Perhaps one day all the Jews will believe in Christ.
Not all the nations believe in Christ. A remnant of the Gentiles believe in Him.
Christ wants all to be saved (2 Peter 3:9). That doesn't mean all will believe. Some people can choose not to believe. God gives everyone free will: some will believe, others not.
God save us. In Erie Scott

Daniel 9:27
(27) And he (Messiah) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he (Messiah) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
John 19:30
(30) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
Luke 23:44-46
(44) And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
(45) And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
(46) And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
Acts 8:2-4
(2) And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
(3) As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
(4) Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

John 14:30Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Daniel 9:27 And he (the prince) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he(the prince) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

If its Jesus what’s he doing making a agreement for seven years with people on earth just before his coming and the end of the world?

My question to all on here who don't agree with Peter's OP. For the sake of arguement, if you're right, then how does Rev. 6-Rev. 19 fit in? Someone please explain that. Shalom

You can pull this time line to bits if you like. Just let me know where you would like the seal and the trumpets to be opened on the time line, and I will do a image. And I can show you how I got them to be opened there

This thread caught my attention. I cannot make any assumptions as to these things, as I will let the Lord do his will in this world. But this is very interesting. Maybe you would like to read these for a little more clarity. It seems you are right about the 3.5 of 7 years. But I haven't read these yet. Thought you would like to read them.

PeterT, just one to add to your stuff, the bowl judgements run concurrent with the trumpets. If you compare each one to each other, i.e. 1 to 1, 2 to 2 so on. You'll see they describe each other very well. Plus the 7th of both are the same, it is finished.

Rev. 11:19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

Rev. 16: 18, 21a And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings, and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. 21a) And great hail from heaven fell upon men.

I love prophecy, I'm no expert by any means, but I've studied it off and on since I was 16. I've taught prophecy for the last 10 yrs. I love it. Shalom, Avinu

One more I forgot to put in,

Rev. 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded; And there were loud voices in heaven saying, " The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and forever."

Rev. 16: 17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done!"

Shalom, Avinu

I love prophecy, but I'm no expert by any means ether.

“the bowl judgements run concurrent with the trumpets”

No I don’t see that Avinu.

Because of this
Rv15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, [and] over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

seven angels having the seven last plagues. Next verse there WE are stand on the sea of glass after getting the victory over the beast before the ( bowl judgements)is proud out.

then the next chapter, then the (bowl judgements) is proud out upon the men which had the mark of the beast and the seat of the beast.

Rv16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and [upon] them which worshipped his image.

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

We are in heaven at the marriage supper lamb THEN the (bowl judgements) is proud out.

Then we return with jesus to make war.

Remember after the last trumpet for us there is time no longer.

(when I can I will do a image to show you.)

Sigh. . the book of Revelation does my head in. .the very title suggests we should understand it but the amount of whacked out theories that exist in Christendom land are ridiculous. . I just wish God would reveal it in simpler terms and actually allow us to hasve the 'revelation' of revelation. .

Yes I can see 3 maybe 4 points that are smiler, out of 7.
the sixth angel poured out his vial and gather them to the battle. How do they know that when Jesus is coming.?

Rv16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, [which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

For people that think the 70th week is completed,it is not.

24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

The Bible clearly states that at the end of 70 weeks that is determined upon Israel, they have to be in the truth, and right with God,and recognize Jesus as their Messiah.

But the Jews are not in the truth with God,as today,so the 70 weeks cannot be completed.

If the Jews were in the truth with God at the end of 70 weeks that satisfied God,then God would not have allowed the Roman Empire to overthrow Jerusalem and scatter Israel in to the nations, which God said He would do if they were not in the truth.

So how can the 70 weeks be completed, which they must be in the truth at the end of 70 weeks, when they were scattered from their land because they rejected Jesus, and the Bible says that Jesus came unto His own but they received them not.

A few Jews accepting Jesus does not complete the 70 weeks, but the nation of Israel accepting Jesus completes the 70 weeks.

25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous tim 26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate(Daniel 9:24-27).

Jesus did not complete the 70 week, for that is determined upon Israel to complete the 70 weeks.

In verse 26,it talks of the people of the prince to come overthrowing Jerusalem, then continues in verse 27 talking of the prince to come as confirming the covenant, which Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24,the abomination of desolation, that will happen in the end times not in the past, which verse 27 talks of the spreading of abominations that the prince to come causes.

The 70th week has not happened yet,and God will see to it that the Jews come to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah, which Jesus said the Jews will not see Him again until they say blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord, and those that come to the truth during that time will instruct others to come to the truth.
