For those that may not have heard the term before, it is a cross between Christianity and Islam. It would make sense for it to be the End Times one world religion because during those times there will be striving for peace, and since Muslims won't bow down to Christianity and Christians won't bow down to Islam, there will have to be a compromise.

What's your take?
Rick Warren would know the answer...:) I can't help thinking, when the time is right, it will be very easy to have a 'one world religion' Christians are already tying themselves in knots trying desperately to be 'all things to all people' forgetting that it is the cross that offends. Many of us are so busy not standing for anything in case we offend...we will be easily convinced tolerance is the best way to go. We can talk about God and not cause offence...Joel Osteen already tells us that its not his duty (leader of one of the western worlds biggest Christian churches...really?) to tell folks there is only one way to have a relationship with God. Despite God clearly telling us there is. Then we have 'The Shack' very popular with Christians and non Christians alike that tells us that 'all ways' are ok as long as you love. So, not sure how it will actually happen but the scene is already being set. We are so divided as a Church, sadly we are not standing on a sure foundation at all. Unity in compromise certainly but not in following the Word. But, no need to be anxious or afraid. We are to keep our eyes focused on the prize and the work we are called to do, not spread the 'love' but spread the Gospel...which is THE love folks need. God Bless. <><

In Islam lying is about the worst sin there is. Allah hates liars.
But its A-OK to lie to the infidel, make agreements with them
with your fingers crossed for long range goals.

Ive studied Islam a fair amount although that was 30 years ago
and im not knowledgable of crislam but just that it exists and is
growing. And fits with their global goals which is built into their religion.

But my uneducated guess is that they probably see these so-called
christians as hacks and fools. Just like judaism does. And it would be doubtful
they are really making any consessions to christianity.

Chrislam? The combination of Aslan and Tash into one deity called Tashlan?

No, I don't think so.

(10 bonus points for whoever got the literary reference.)

To spread the Gospel is to spread love, don't you agree? If the doctrinal structure of our faith impedes us from spreading the love of Christ to the world, should we not re-evaluate our Church architecture?

I suppose there are liberal fringes in both camps that will clamor over each other to push Chrislam down our throats, but I can't see
conservatives/orthodox from either camp giving it a second look.

I think maybe the point is not to compromise our belief while doing so.

The ecumenical movement is the one to keep an eye on, as it's the uniting of all religions together under one leader. This is where things are heading. Even evangelicals, like Billy Graham, are joining in. Freemasonry believes there are many ways to God, so they are probably in some way related to this movement, since they support the exact same idea.

This movement believes in unity, rather than division. They compromise on truth, for the sake of unity. I believe this is the falling away that's mentioned in scripture. Many of the whore's daughters are returning to their mother.

This reminds me of the tower of Babel. Nimrod was leader and uniting all together in rebellion against God. God slowed it down by confusing them with the languages. This ecumenical movement is like a 2nd attempt at the tower of Babel, only this will be the final attempt before the end. This is what I think anyway.

I would love to see the list of ecumenical members, so if anyone finds it, please email me or post it here :)

John 14:6: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me"

Matthew 7:13-14: "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it"

2 Cor 6:14-16: "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God"

1 John 2:19: "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us"

2 Thess 2:3:
"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed"

Proverbs 14:12: "There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death"

It will more accurately be called Judeo-Chrislam. And rather than Christmas, Hanukkah, Quanza, or Ramadan, the new holiday will be called Ramahanuquanzmas.

Once again, a big lure coming from the Evil One.

There is only one God, our Father, the God of Jesus!

There is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Son of God!

At the end times, there will be no compromises.

Everybody will bow down to Jesus the king of kings!

The anti christ must be or believed to be of Jewish descent, otherwise they will not accept him as the Messiah ( which they will). Then he will turn on Israel and that's when the muslims will join him for the common goal of the destruction of Israel. The muslims will not accept him because he is not muslim but he will demand to be worshiped as god. The only reason they join up is because it is said in their quran that they can enter a covenant or agreement under the pretense of a lie as long as it furthers Islam. Which is obvious today, they have broken every peace treaty made ( why can'y our leaders see that). The ultimate goal of satan is to destroy Israel. Because, God said that Jesus would sit on the throne of David forever. So, if he can destroy Israel, then he wins and shown God to be a liar. Which will not happen.

a disclaimer is in order...

while there -has- been some limited movement within christianity to 'understand' or 'be more open' to islam...most of the 'chrislam' rumors going around are more or less hoaxes...there is no serious concerted effort to merge the two religions into one...

Can that be fit into a catchy little tune?

When Jesus returns one side will realise they were wrong and move to the other side. Until then no human effort alone will unite.

Are you from Atlanta. I live close to it. anyway I don't know of it. It very well could be. However did yall know that the FBI has many speakers to address it and that an Islamist group called C.A.R.E. Complained that many of the speakers were anti- Islam and now a speaker cannot address the FBI without being approved by this Islamist group. Sad, sad ,sad.

At that time it's too late, 'musical chairs' will have ended.

In stead of the song "Have Yourself a Marry Little Christmas" We'll be singing Have Yourself a Ramahanuquanzmas.
