The ecumenical movement is the one to keep an eye on, as it's the uniting of all religions together under one leader. This is where things are heading. Even evangelicals, like Billy Graham, are joining in. Freemasonry believes there are many ways to God, so they are probably in some way related to this movement, since they support the exact same idea.
This movement believes in unity, rather than division. They compromise on truth, for the sake of unity. I believe this is the falling away that's mentioned in scripture. Many of the whore's daughters are returning to their mother.
This reminds me of the tower of Babel. Nimrod was leader and uniting all together in rebellion against God. God slowed it down by confusing them with the languages. This ecumenical movement is like a 2nd attempt at the tower of Babel, only this will be the final attempt before the end. This is what I think anyway.
I would love to see the list of ecumenical members, so if anyone finds it, please email me or post it here
John 14:6: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me"
Matthew 7:13-14: "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide
is the gate and broad
is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow
is the gate and difficult
is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it"
2 Cor 6:14-16: "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God"
1 John 2:19: "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but
they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us"
2 Thess 2:3: "Let no one deceive you by any means; for
that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed"

that seems right to a man, But its end
is the way of death"
