why don't you gentlemen give an example of why you believe that the book is God inspired instead of making broad terms and asking questions you already know the answers too?

what I've read so far from the "book of Enoch" reminds me of text from the Quran, the Kabbalah, and the Bhavagad Gita more than the Bible and the world knows who inspired those scriptures.

Is anyone here going to limit Yahweh's ability in teaching that one of His prophets could not have been preserved for a time when he would be best understood? I do not KNOW more than others who know Yeshua crucified, and quite frankly, if one is not given to accept God's prophet, Enoch, well, he can learn enough from the rest of the Word, but please, do not disqualify Enoch simply because some ancient board of church scholars, experts or intellectuals have decided it is not valid. Leave the authentfiication to the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit will either verify it or not for you. Why ask flesh? All I submit is my take and my share, and that is with prayer. What I understand of the Book of Enoch, as with Revelation, I keep, what I do not, I keep until it is revealed, if ever. Any one who reads the Word does the exact same as this, unless you know a human other than Yeshua, who understands the Word in its entirety. I do not believe anyone does, do you?

humphf....

anyways why did you start another thread?

Since you don't want to really discuss the Book of Enoch or how it contradicts the Bible I will leave you to your .....revelations......

http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/38110-book-enoch.html

Here is just one contradicting scripture among many in this book....

Enoch chapter 1

6a In those days ye shall make your names an eternal execration unto all the righteous,
6b And by you shall all who curse, curse,
And all the sinners and godless shall imprecate by you,
6c And for you the godless there shall be a curse.

6d And all the . . . shall rejoice,
6e And there shall be forgiveness of sins,
6f And every mercy and peace and forbearance:
6g There shall be salvation unto them, a goodly light.

6h And for all of you sinners there shall be no salvation,
6i But on you all shall abide a curse.

7a But for the elect there shall be light and joy and peace,
7b And they shall inherit the earth.
Compare that to JESUS words and whom HE said He came for and who HE says will inherit the earth:

Matthew 9:13
But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Mark 2:17
When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Luke 5:32
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Luke 15:7
I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

Luke 15:10
Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
The Book of Enoch tells people that if they are sinners and not part of the "elect" there is NO hope of salvation for them, they are cursed and that all people should curse them. However what does GOD command us to do?

Matthew 5:44
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

Luke 6:28
bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.

Romans 12:14
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

Those books don't say anything near similar to the book of Enoch. Especially the qu'ran, and kabbalah. If you don't understand Enoch, than that is all it is, but there is no comparison to the others. People who don't know and understand tanak will not be able to understand the book of Enoch.

Hello, it is no use sharing understanding when the questions have already been answered quite well. It seems many folks who come here are looking to be an adversary and not family in Yeshua. It is a terrible shame. May Elohanu give some semblance of unity, brotherhood and love to this site, amen.

][/QUOTE]That's exactly right, those who are not of the elect have no hope for salvation. The Bible says the same thing. Enoch does not say people are to curse them, it says they are cursed, which they are, for if they do not receive salvation, they do not enter into the kingdom of Heaven. There is no contradiction here at all, only misunderstanding.
