They only quote Paul...
John/Yahanan 14:26, "But the Comforter – the Holy Spirit which YHWH will send in My Name will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I (Yahshua/Jesus) have said to you."
John/Yahanan 6:63, "It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The words that I (Yahshua/Jesus) speak to you, they are Spirit, and they are life everlasting."
John/Yahanan 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."
John/Yahanan 14:15, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
right
what Jesus said not what Moses said
Not this whoch Moses said in the law
“Ye have heard that
it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
but I ( Jesus ) say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
Matthew 5:38-39 KJV
Not the Old Testament word but the one Jesus spoke They don’t go together you can’t be like this
“And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.”
Deuteronomy 19:21 KJV
and also pardon the one who offends like Jesus taught ….they are contrary directives but Jesus only spoke one of them Moses spoke the other from an angelic ordination designed by god ….
“For
if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;( old testsment )
how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, ( Jesus not Moses ) and was
confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also
bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, ( Jesus apostles who believed him ) and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?”
Hebrews 2:2-4 KJV
Jesus didn’t speak the law to Moses is the difference he came and spoke his own words
So what did Yahshua/Jesus teach?
the gospel of the kingdom that began after johns baptism for remission of sins
You have to read the four gospels and understand what he’s teaching his disciples th at believes in him and then what he’s telling the many Jews that we’re trying to trap him in his words and decipher the difference
To the Jews he said “ do everything the priests tell you because until the prophecies about me are fulfilled until I die and raise up nothing can change of the law . All of those people were born under Moses law before Jesus came preaching the gospel so they had to at that point keep both . Gentiles and Jews born after Jesus died and rose have never been under the law of Moses and don’t have that terrible yoke to try to carry
It’s really easy to understand but it requires letting what we learn be true in spite of what we were always told in chirch or thought ourselves once it becomes clear we still don’t want to sometimes. It if we accept it it chi a ges our perception for the better
all we need is
Jesus and what he said will save us that’s it
We aren’t supposed to add anything anyone else said to it just learn from the rest of the Bible especially the apostles writings
the lord first taught them but then he explained this
“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
John 16:12-13 KJV
this is what the apostles w to ones contain expanded understanding of what Jesus preached in the gospel ….
To know what he taught look at the things he taught when he receives the spirit at baptism until he died then look at his apostles writings toninderersnd it better
Jesus taught the gospel
“For I am
not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For
therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
Romans 1:16-17 KJV
But the law ?
“For
as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that
no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.”
Galatians 3:10-12 KJV
The gospel is about a person accepting Jesus as the lord and then the person starts to learn from him like a disciple that’s what Christian’s are it doesn’t matter if your just starting your accepted. Even with your flaws but your also expected to start growing up and living your life as the lord is teaching you
at he things Jesus said in the gospel are his teachings but you also have to understand until he died his words weren’t in effect and the law couldn’t be removed
“For
a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
Whereupon neither
the first testament was dedicated without blood. For when
Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet
wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both
the book, and all the people, saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.”
Hebrews 9:17-20 KJV
Animal blood and Moses word
v Jesus blood according to his better word all we need to do is let Jesus be the lord and let his word be the lords word that will save us because it has the power to bring us to real repentance and tesch us to live
