There is only one thing on this planet that is perfect. It can’t be changed, it is the same yesterday as today and you can’t govern it by your laws for tradition ; It is Spirit and it resides in man and that Spirit is Love, For God is love.

Such a simple God respects a simple doctrine. You in me and I in you as one. What a novel concept is Christ in you. So many here are so engulfed in their laws for tradition to be right, they can’t see the God of Love which is knocking at their door this day wanting to come to them and be in them. Love. But because these are smarter, and have a better way, they miss His coming to this earth all together. And wait for a great and notable day.

Jesus was clear that the kingdom of God is within you. Amazing how many do not know this simple concept of God in you ... Love.

Charity? Well we all know what Christ says about Charity, it is kind, it is meek, it doesn’t get puffed up, or heady, all the things associated -- it is everything that God is. LOVE! And He has made His abode in man. Christ in me.

Some will disagree with this post and the God of Love and try and bring Him down to their level of understanding of the imperfections associated with the flesh man. But it is the Spirit man they have no knowledge of. And that SPirit is Love. For God is a Spirit and that SPirit is Love. Believe it or not, I and my Father are one. He in me and I in Him.

I think Love, God, for the most part, is left out of todays Christianity. Most do not know who He is let alone one with Him. They have a concept of God being one of flesh, a man. Seems a god of flesh is all that can be related to.

Nice post Gary. God has no intension of being more like us. His intension are that we become more like Him.

GaryMac...you have love love love in half your posts and condemantion and arrogance and flippancy in the rest. some of the folks who claim spiritual maturity/perfection and boast about it usually say things like:

did you know that's a judgment on Christ's church, He bought with His blood? and totally a lie and prideful?
just thought i'd point it out in case you didn't know. you don't mind do you?

in another post you claimed perhaps you got "blunt", but never called anybody heretic/unsaved/etc etc.

what's the diff with your personal flavour of trashing the church?
take care.

Are you Jesus? I don't think so...

Yes, we have Christ in us, and God is our father. But until the return of Christ when we will be CHANGED, we all still have our old sin nature to deal with. We are to reckon him dead, but there's not a person living who is 100% successful at this. Therefore, you are not perfect.

We are told to take of the old man and put on Christ. Why are you holding on to the old man?

Read Romans 7. Even Paul wasn't perfect. He had to deal with the old man as well. We all do.

In Romans 7 Paul was setting up his argument for not walking in the flesh in other words taking off the old man, and walking in the Spirit in other words putting on the new man fashioned after the image of Christ, which he delivered perfectly (pun intended) in Romans 8. If you walk in the flesh you will be condemned therefore walk in the Spirit where there is no condemnation.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Do you believe you're 100% successful? Are you sinless? Perfect? If you are, I'd love to meet you.

I'm sure as hell not. But I'm working on getting better at it.

Yesterday I found out that all of us here spend more time to contradict eachother, and talk about sin, than we talk about God! So many people do not know why Paul wrote what he did in Romans 7, becasue they were CALLED to be saints and is not yet. Paul also wrote in the SAME ROMANS 1 that he recieved OBEDIENCE to the faith. That means Paul DID obey God's FAITH... Even Matthew 5:48...
And look what Paul says to the EPHESIANS....
12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
It is a shame to even SPEAK of sin which OTHERS do. I hope we can soon start talking about God and His will. And finally stop talking about sin and satan and how sinful we all are... If you have sin to confess, do so, and get over it. Let us talk about how we can come to God and draw near, so that we can wash our hands, purify our hearts, humble ourselves before Him so the HE CAN LIFT US UP, KEEP US STANDING, AND KEEP US FROM STUMBLING! LEt us for once get over the subject of sin.

Me I am out of here soon, not to even MENTION sin again, and allow God to LIFT me AFTER I HUMBLED MYSELF BEFORE HIM. So let me just tell you, God lifts me up, and He keeps me standing! Lord Let thou will be done, NOT MINE PLEASE! AMEN!~

Well to become ''sinless, you first must ''sin less''

The more I read and learn from Jesus the more I wonder at the perfect in Jesus, and the perfect we know in of the world.
I cannot speak perfectly to this, no pun intended, :) but it apears that the perfect we are called to in Jesus is far different from what we think, because I wonder that its not so much the perfect idea, action or thought.
But that in Jesus, we recieve the grace, power and love of God Our Father which is what makes all perfect.
Ill try to give an example, have you ever had a child bring you a flower, calling it a rose, when actually it is a dandilion, a weed.
But because of the humility of the child and the hope and love they give you in that dandilion, it becomes the most perfect rose you have ever recived.
Like I saud Im still learning, and dont really know how to define perfect other than what is promised in Jesus.
But sometimes in that moment before God in Jesus , when one rests in Jesus, I wonder if the perfect is not at all what we know in flesh, but the love of God in Jesus, that makes all perfect.

God bless.

I think i know what you mean by we are perfect in his love through Jesus Christ our Lord, yes i believe that even though we have the same difficulties as Paul had in Romans 7. We strive for righteousness for the law is not written on stone anymore but on our hearts. But i tell you as long as we live in this corruptible bodies we will struggle against flesh.

If Christ in me is considered boasting, then let me boast, but truth is conviction pegs me as the bad guy. Spiritual maturity is to have in you what Jesus had in him.

Just thought I’d point it out in case you didn’t know that a lie would be that you can’t be like Him. Did you know that pride will keep you from being like Him?

To trash the church would be to declare that you can’t have in you what Jesus had in Him. But then I suppose that would be trash to some huh?
But then all I have ever done is lift up Christ in you now isnt it? Gosh that is a bad thing? How interesting!
Take care!

Sorry I missed the first part of your post.

Oh He was raised in Spirit, the flesh man is gone. The Spirit man remains.

No flesh inherits the kingdom of God. If the flesh man was perfect, It would still be with us but it isnt. What you don’t understand is it is the Christ that remains, and is supposed to be in you. How can He be risen at all if you wont let Him, Christ in you?

Jesus resurrection was physical.

John 2:19-22
Jesus answered them, Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days. They replied, It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days? But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.

Jesus ate after his resurrection.

Luke 24:42-43
They gave him a piece of broiled fish, and he took it and ate it in their presence.

Jesus was risen in a flesh and bone body.

Luke 24:39
Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.

Later Thomas put his finger in the holes of Jesus hands.

John 20:27
Then he said to Thomas, Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.

Oh! Heck no' I dont think so either, I aint Jesus, I am Gary but we have the same Father who is God, same Spirit in me who was in Christ Jesus.
