Who else in the Bible who ate something and commited adultery? No one else but Eve, I guess.
Ummmm. Lol. No. The bible doesn't say anywhere that Eve committed adultery. To argue this is the proof is called circular reasoning, and is a logical fallacy.

The adulterous woman wipes her mouth because she has just eaten her prey like a loaf of bread.

Proverbs 6:26 For by means of a harlot
A man is reduced to a crust of bread;
And an adulteress will prey upon his precious life.

Eve was mistaken when she said that Cain was a man from the Lord. Cain was evil like his father.

I think the original Hebrew is "a man the Lord". Eve thought Cain was the Messiah. So yes, she was mistaken. And you are right - Adam brought sin into the world by his sin, and his son Cain, likewise, was sinful.

Yes adam was sinful. But satan is the real father of Cain, the murderer. He is of the wicked one. The enmity is evident between Cain and Abel. Cain is satan's seed and Abel is Eve's seed.

But that's not what scripture says. There is no proof. When one takes dogmatic positions on things scripture is silent about (or worse, contradicts), it can be very damaging to one's theology. This can leave the door open for heresies.

For example, if Cain was Satan's seed, then all of Cain's descendants cannot be saved by Jesus, because Jesus is our kinsman redeemer, but Cain's descendents would be of Satan, rather than Adam. This starts to become a very dangerous doctrine.

Why is that? The gentiles were originally of satan and cannot be saved but God changed His mind when His chosen people rejected Him. And why should we worry about Cain's descendants? They were all wiped out in the flood along with the nephilims.

Is there a scripture for this? I thought God's plan all along was to save the whole world through Jesus. My understanding was that gentiles were always able to convert to Israelites. The Israelite's Passover is like our Communion.

Exodus 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

And why should we worry about Cain's descendants? They were all wiped out in the flood along with the nephilims.
Again, there is no proof for this. If you argue that Cain was a nephilim, some may argue that his descendants survived aboard the ark (e.g. the wives of Noah's sons could have had Cain's blood, and therefore, people living today could have nephilim blood, on that basis). That's why it's dangerous to argue outside of what scripture plainly teaches.

First, "nephilim" is plural; "nephilims" is redundant.

Second, unless you have biblical evidence as to the lineage of the wives of Noah's sons, you have no proof of your assertion that Cain's descendants were all wiped out in the flood. You don't.

Go with what the text actually states and leave off dogmatic speculations.

Nephilims reappeared after the flood. Num 13:33

You can't deny that satan has a physical seed that God has put an enmity with Eve's seed. He is also an angel of light and he can intermingle with human females and produce nephilims. If this happened in the past, there is a chance it could happen again. Who knows, it might be happening in this generation now. What happened in Eden can be spiritual but can also be sexual and physical.
That portion of scripture that I call Hollywood stuff is simply a teaching not to be unevenly yoked. The seed of Christ was in jeopardy . The Holy Spirit performed a do over. It reserved the seed. Today we have the whole genealogy, the generation of Christ (Mathew 1) . The born again generation. .

Angels that were in the holy place of God in Job appearing before him have no DNA .They are not created as beast of the field, formed from clay. They are administering spirits. Not the human kind of messenger. they have DNA needed to reproduce humans. Big ones and small ones.

When Satan fell day 3 the temporal time keepers (Sun and Moon) were placed in the heaven to represent corruption had begun its work of dying. The glory of God which did light the earth before it departed giving rise to the name Ichabod, "faith departed " .

1 Samuel 4:21And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband.

Satan the father of lies having no DNA... being the master ventriloquist he is . The voice of the stranger. It seemed to be coming from the lips of a serpent that is reckoned as beautiful, pleasing to the eyes.We no idea of what it looked like before corruption came and took the legs right out from under this creature possibly a metaphor to represent. No walking by faith .The voice desired they experience doing the will of another, walking by sight. Faith died the glory departed.

No literal demon seed. The seed is the lies that the father of lies (no DNA) puts on the tongue of creatures(DNA) .The motive of operation of the antichrists the many that were already the from the beginning .

Cain the first example proving the father of lies is a murderer from day one. another example that seems to get overlooked is in Mathew 16 a perfect picture of the working of the antichrist (another mediator) other than that as it is written alone, the key that the gate of hell could . Peter was forgiven of his blasphemy in respect the Son of man, seen.

There the father of lies put his words on Peter's lips. You would think that would be enough for a pew catholic to take a look from another perspective. The Pope which they claim is in respect to Peter sits in that place as a daysman an infallible interpreter or umpire set between God and man with the approval of both.

Note.... (parentheses )my added comment

Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, (the eternal not seen) but those that be of men.(the temporal seen.)Mathew 16

I think descendants of unbelief will be here right up till the last day.

Are people saying satans seed is poisonous or his words. Which are lies.

There are good trees and there are corrupt trees. Just as there are tares and wheat.

But when is it ever ok to use poison?
Are the vials the angels in revelation pour out, a kind of poison? It seems they cause a lot of people and plants and animals to die, or be tormented who dont have Gods seal on their foreheads.

JEsus says we are the ones who can trample on snakes and scorpions and crush them under our feet. Nothing by any means will do us harm check out Luke 10:19-20

Snakes and scorpions, being poisonous I suppose.

Poison is used to represent false doctrine. . False doctrine will not harm a believers who relies on all things written in the law and the prophets. Serpents or Viper are used to represent those who bring false doctrine as another gospel (poison) another Christ as a mediator ( Vipers)

Leaven of the Pharisees.

leaven is used in the same way it puffs up as false doctrine rising above that which is written . killing or making true doctrines without effect. Leaven can also be used as that which increases the work the gospel spreads like wild fire purifying the hearts of mankind .

We don't see eye to eye on many things garee, but I am with you on the Nephilim not being fallen angels. The word used for Nephilim simply means "giant."

giant = H5303
נְפִל נְפִיל
nephı̂yl nephil
nef-eel', nef-eel'
From H5307; properly, a feller, that is, a bully or tyrant: - giant.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's an angel. The same word is used to describe the sons of Anak (see Numbers 13:33).

Ok just coming back to topic, I cant find anywhere in the Bible that says when its appropriate to use poison.

The only thing is strong drink, but thats when someone is near death or totally traumatised to help them forget their pain and misery.

And James says for us to tame our tongues as life and death is in the power of the tongue. As the untamed tongue is poison.

Jesus had only to curse the fig tree and it withered, thats how powerful his words were...he didnt have to use a weedkiller. But it was just the fig tree he cursed, not people. I suppose it was symbolic of something else.

So why are people still using poison today? As believers, when would you ever use poison?
Our alternative is always to bless others, to never curse. Poison doesnt solve anything. Wouldnt it be resorting to satans methods to use poison.

Poison is used in cancer treatment.
Poison is used to kill rats, mice.
Poison is used on crops to kill pests.
Poison is used to kill weeds in a garden.
Poison has been used in executions
Disinfectants are used to kill bacteria which are a poison.
Antibiotics are a poison to bacteria and used in medicine.

Soap is a poison for common bacterial organisms, which is why we wash our hands.
Interestingly Jesus did not rater washing of hands highly, and ignored the emphasis the pharisees put on it.

A lot of these uses of poison are shown to be harmful.
Eg.

Poison in baits also kills the animals that eat the poisoned rats and mice. Cats and owls can kill rats and mice effectively without use of poison.
poison in cancer treatment. Chemotherapy often kills the patient as well as the cancer.
Pesticides kill beneficial insects such as bees as well.
Poisonous weedkillers also can kill beneficial plants when applied indiscriminately.
Jesus refused poison on his execution at the crucifixtion. He preferred to endure the suffering for our sake.
Overuse of disinfectant and antibiotics has led to resistant bacteria, and ironically more germs. Peoples immune systems become compromised.

Washing hands with just hot water, can be just as effective as using soap. But not all soap is poisonous, only anti bacterial ones. And there is beneficial bacteria as well.

I don't think anyone believes the Nephilim were fallen angels. They were the children of the daughters of men, and fallen angels. Hence the term for giants. Either in deed, or stature, or both.

Yeah. I don't like poisons, either. I agree with your point that many/most poisons do more harm than good.

But I must confess to using nerve agents on large insects - those things are sometimes too disgusting to crush. If the birds would do their job and eat them, I wouldn't need to spray them.
