But I didn't say anything about Jesus and Paul other then to respond to your claim that Paul disagreed with my comment which you quoted.
Yes you did: you spoke of Jesus' parable of the sower and seeds in post @ 110. Then complained because
I responded to something that was a number of posts back, as if there that was legitimate cause to criticize me.

I did not claim Paul disagreed with you, either. I said Paul didn't seem to think so

You characterize it a certain way and then blame me but claim you are owning your words?

funny

that is what I see you doing

since you and I have crossed swords, so to speak, since we first met on this forum, although myself with a different name, I have not managed to do anything but stir your ire. sometimes, people really have nothing in common but their belief in Christ

this forum illustrates the desire for some to put down others. accusations are often a misunderstanding but sometimes they are real and they hurt and no bond is found

I do not see the op doing what you seem to think he is doing, and I am really not taking any side but the side of what I believe is the truth
that's why I have many of them on Ignore :) go back and read your comments with their response not there it is very revealing :)

If revival does come it will be to reawaken the church, many have claimed it is coming but many are also just into the spiritual hype many want revival but are not ready for it they just the spiritual aspect of it not the work that is going to be done in it. Me personally I have felt a calling that I have been waiting to be called on for quite some time and am getting very impatient I know that I am to wait and that when the time comes I will be strengthened and empowered to do it now this could be the revival or it could simply be a strengthening of the heart when the time comes to answer my calling but I personally want to work and be used which is why I have my own reasons for sucha revival

Doors open in revivals doors that were previously closed God's hand moves in ways it never did before I don't want people to desire a revival for the wrong reason though as many already do getting into the spiritual hype however I also don't want people to be numb towards it either. I have a feeling it will come just not suddenly or out of nowhere it will come in an order lining up witha certain event following a different event what these events are exactly I am not entirely sure but I think when we see the first event we will feel the revival coming.
well as you say, we will see

I do not see personal opportunity in it though...but if you do, then for yourself I guess you do

Jesus said Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Revival is a move of God from a Christian perspective. What it seems like to me is revisionist casting blame
on the church for a lost and fallen world because places, where God moved, can be and do become dead.

right

the anger is not justified by anything I said

it's amazing how a person can create an entire big story and then go back and say they did not mean this or mean that and it's all the other person

it's all meaningless really

If that is what the Lord has asked of you, sister, then do that. I was a committed member of an evangelist team and I was the only member who wasn't an evangelist. But I sure could turn away the attacks of the enemy. And I could turn away the agitators who came to the ground we took in the name of the Lord for His glory. Their were sometime dozens of foolish people who came to make a fuss and a lark to uphold their hope in human circuses, Morris dancers and the many drunks. Sometimes it was remarkable what the Lord did. Seeing people getting saved in an instant is the most precious blessing imaginable in this life. The Lord blessed me numerous times to be the witness in such a conversion - whereas my brethren led people to the Lord every week. One thing unified us entirely. It was the nights of prayer, the fasts and the early morning preparation for just a few hours preaching in a city centre. I truly valued those brethren because they saw my calling and I saw theirs. We utterly depended on one another. Just as this forum creates the same dependency.

The long grass doesn't hide fear. Neither does it turn away the wolf. We serve Christ - and only one another when we see Christ as He is by faith. So I don't take any offence when things get a little agitated from sisters and often from brothers too. We shouldn't try to agitate in order to require of others what they have already been obedient in when they were a babe in Christ. Preaching the Gospel is just about the easiest thing to do - and especially when we say we are called to do it. We should all long to see the lost come to faith. But only a fool takes on a burden for the Lord's House presumptuously in a time when the man of Sin is to be revealed and received as true Christ. Only a fool would presume to speak into that - and only a false prophet walks in it to the cost of others - and bears no cost himself. Only a rebellious house tries to come against the prophetic ministry for vain reasons. Still we do have the long grass - so we can run away for a while and stand very still and perhaps the wolf will not find us - even if we are a rebellious remnant. Jeremiah 42

Is that not asked of all of us?

I like the saying: Preach the gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words.

As you wish, sister. Have your portion according to your own determination.
I am not sure what you are getting at. Do you disagree somehow? It seems so.

by the way, angels are not depicted as women in the Bible

they are depicted as male when they appear in human form

I thought you should know
