So an OP from a healthy, prosperous but vain young man asking if he should pray for what he wants, not what he needs, turns into a personal attack on charity? Sometimes I just shake my head in wonder.

? blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness

I dunno if OP is 'healthy and prosperous' but whatever situation people find themselves its always good to pray for the what we need.

God wont answer a selfish prayer though...well in my experience He doesnt.

The coffee merchants arent always fair though thats why some dont even pay enough for a pile of beans to the people who pick them. Maybe pray for them too?

I dont think anyone is foolish enough to pray to God for cocaine...

But you never know...God might hear those too, but He probably ignores them.

Coffee is probably a safer alternative for both farmers and drinkers.

Jesus survied on just cold water, but he did turn some of that water into wine on special occasions.
